Creature: It hisses and then speaks a small verse in an ancient tongue.

Valeros grumbles and drops the bow he'd readied for the zombie that seemed to really be bad at opening doors, drawing longsword and shield TWF, +1 BAB, can draw as part of move action while stepping closer to the alternatively attractive and horrifically disgusting *thing*.

Laeowynne goes to open the door and a flurry of actions goes off from Valeros and Tyranius. Both hit the zombie and the zombie looks much worse for the wear.

Laeowynne, unfortunately to open it you had to move up, so you are stuck next to the door.

Technically, I think we could have waited a moment with Leaowynne next to the door, he opens it and moves away (AoO because he wouldn't be able to withdraw safely, but maybe with cover from the doorframe), but this is funnier.

Since no description was given for the room on the left...

Shockingly graphic depictions of orgies with all manner of creatures decorate the walls of this chamber. Five humanoid skeletons lie in state on biers—though the bodies appear human, their skulls are those of some monstrous creature. A pile of bloody bones and feathers is all that is left of a recently killed creature.

Izzik identifies the body as his friend. At the current moment, he does not feel comfortable walking into the room (for more than one reason).

Inside, there are two potions.

He'll look to the two 'northern' doors warily with a sense of trepidation, because that's going to be tough to fight if it's the same thing.

Obviously he is still distracted by the image of Laeowynne's hair interposed with that of a statuesque blonde woman he once say jogging slowly down a beach....

Then if he is still alive he takes 20 (2 minutes) to disable the lock (total of 30).


Izzik starts to feel better, but then begins to mourn the loss of his comrade. He quickly reminds himself that he didn't know Fisk all that well anyway. "I'm feeling better, although hurt. I'm ready to keep going. Ale will help dull the pain at least. Thanks!"

Creat checks the doors for traps, and finds the door is not locked.

This room’s furnishings have all been destroyed beyond recognition, like someone... or something... came in here in a fit of rage and just chopped everything to pieces. Ancient dried bloodstains still mar the floor and wall carvings. However, the room seems to be devoid of any creatures (and loot).

You find a secret door in the north wall of this chamber!

Again Tyranius puts all of his untapped Orc strength into pushing the door open. His muscles bulge as he drives his feet into the dust covered cement.


Izzik thanks the party. "You didn't have to, but thanks for the healing! I'll take it!"

Tyranius opens the door to reveal a crypt. Bodies line the far walls of each alcove in this chamber.
