What reroll are you entitled to Al?
I was referring to the PC folio/shirt re-roll. Not something that's very confirm-able online. I did just get my first GM star today, but I don't think that counts either.
Lolly Farbanks |
PC folio/shirt rerolls are allowed. There are various ways to verify/confirm them and often GMs just take folks word for it. Not sure Shifty's policy.
Shifty |
They are allowed, and I run with the honour system - if a local VA with his freshly minted first star can't be trusted on the boards then who can? So you go right ahead dude and roll that sucker and let's make it a good one with your +1 star bonus... make it an epic tale... don't stuff up, or I'll have to give you mine too!
I have about 8 re-roll shirts in my house, and we have the only known Official reroll Goblin in existence (Signed by Mike Brock and all!) but my daughter owns that and jealously guards it

With a shake of his head to divert possibilities and previous actions away from the here and now, Alexandre hops up and drives his rapier toward the feral woman yet again. However, this time, he focuses on striking at the body instead of her striking arm this time, and draws her blood again.
"The tide is turning, and it's turning against you," Alexandre slowly says, as blood drips from his blade. "I've been taught to give mercy to a foe once... Flee, and I won't chase. Stay, and I'll make sure that you live to taste Guaril Karela's 'tender mercies'..." He threatens, letting an edge of his own feral heritage into his tone.

Before I attack, I did 12 damage with my last attack, but you only added 9 damage to her on that. Considering the so close comment, does that push her over?
Shifty |
Correcttion - it was 12, puts her on 59... and now over her HP limit. Not that it matters now, there is so much damage lined up for this round she's cactus. 57 was the magic number.
The woman's luck had clearly run out, the last blows faint and poorly timed. Between the screaming eagle, the frosty halfling, the dashing fencer and the bare wrath of Sarenerae the beasts fate was sealed. As her body slumps to the ground, broken by the blows, she slowly returns to her human form.
Silence now descends over the place and you quickly check for further attackers, but the place is abandoned.
You find what is clearly some sort of base of operations.
Two desks facing each other occupy the center of this room; each covered with stacks of reports, maps, and other pieces of paperwork. A large map of Nirmathas hangs from the north wall.
After a few minutes investigating the piles of paperwork on the desk you find enough evidence to implicate an agent Zurnzal—and possibly also a person called Madreki Gael —in the theft of Guaril Karela’s goods, as well as in the rumor campaign against the Pathfinder Society in Tamran. You also find a thick bundle of bloodstained faction mission notes written by Guaril Karela and taken (by the bloodstains likely by force) from members of the now-defunct Sczarni faction.
See handouts.
DC 20 Knowledge (local) check (+4 Bonus for Exchange members)
Moving further, you find a further set of rough dormitories and a storage room full of subsistence items
Lolly Farbanks |
As the beast woman collapses, Lolly slumps in the hallway for a few moments catching her breath.
Kyra check on Bartholomew, I think he might be dead. So much blood.
Tears begin to pour down her checks. Don't be dead!
She manages to steady herself, long enough to confirm with Kyra about the painful truth. As the group collects itself, with various heals and such, Lolly eventually pulls Sir T back into the world. Tapping him multiple times with the Wand of CLW until the Phantom has recovered.
As the pathfinders search the complex, Lolly joins the others as they review the documents.
Well that explains a couple things. Lolly exclaims.
That crazy Razmirian priest was working with the Aspis; the Aspis was looking to discredit us and I guess make money off Tamran people instead of Guaril, and spread the holy word of Razmir?
But what was the deal with the those folks up top; other Aspis agents? The one disappeared, just vanished. Be on guard, I guess they could come back.
After the investigation, Lolly helps prepare Bartholomew's body for carrying back.
Alexandre D'Alycone |
The last seconds of dodging were very much ones of desperation for Alexandre, and Lolly's juke in to finish off the woman surprised him. Still, watching the woman hit the ground evokes a reaction for him. Almost immediately, Alexandre slumps against the wall, exhausted from over a minute of defying a brutal death and occupying 2 fiendish beasts. After a second, however, he starts laughing, first quietly, before growing in volume to echo throughout the ruins.
"Does anyone want to play cards? Because I'm sure my luck's tapped out for a month at least...," He adds, still laughing. However, hearing Lolly talk about Bart stops the laughing right quick. With a snarl, he goes to kick the woman only to stop at the last moment. "No,"he says to the lady as he pauses, "You have an appointment with Karela, and I'm not letting a little thing like death stop that from happening. Kyra, I'm not the best for first aid. Can you please make sure that she doesn't die on us before Guaril can 'talk' to her?" he asks before looking finally looking into the now blood coated room that Bart lies in.
"Those weasels did this?" he asks, shocked at the raw gore around the room, as well at Lukaas's condition. "I'm sorry that I couldn't stop them, but, that badger was in the way." After immediate healing is done and the bodies that need to be dragged out of here are prepared for transport, then Alexandre goes to search the rest of the ruins.
The papers help to explain to him roughly what's been going on in Tamrin, with the letter between Zurnzal and Gael being the final piece of the puzzle. "I think you have the right of it, Lolly. Let's gather all these papers up. I'm sure that Karela will want to see them."

Lolly notes there are enough beds down here to account for the four people encountered upstairs, however they have not returned.
In fairness, they did a pile of damage, were starting to run low on spells, and the tide was rapidly turning against them - so they really were clearing off rather than stand and die pointlessly
Alex can't place any particular issues of note.
Eventually, you do hear some gentle footfalls and it is none other than Guaril Karela.
The roguish fellow looks thrilled as he admires the devastation of the Aspis underground, but disappointed that one of your fellows has been slain.
"I appreciate your work and thank you for your assistance. With the Aspis out of commission in Tamran, our shipments can once again flow into the city freely, providing
the lodge and the people of Tamran with much-needed supplies. What information have you found on the Aspis operations?"
