Hearing the sorceress collapse, Slachagok turns his attention from the chaos at the far end of the camp and glances toward her crumpled form.

"Still breathin', seems like," he grunts, "an' better off than the rest o' th' camp if we don't back 'em up."

He touches the wooden key around his neck and mutters a soft prayer to Abadar, before advancing through the trees and around the nearest hut.

Cast Divine Favor and move. Fate's Favored trait adds 1 to existing luck bonuses, so +2 to attack and damage rolls for 1 minute.

Feeling her consciousness move into the large statue, Alafair takes a tentative step forward to see if she controls the golem's movements. If so, she quickly rushes forward out of the ruin and into the daylight.

Horatio moves forward around the opposite side of the hut from Slachagok.

The iron statue lumbers up out of the crypt and into the field of battle, trying to place itself between the party and the oncoming monkey-men.

Double move to square indicated. Assuming I can manuever around the individual heroes without trampling them...

Slachagok strides between the tents, parallel to the edge of the excavation pit. With a clearer view of the field, he attempts to identify the simian invaders, and prepares to react against any who move into range.

Mareck holds his attack waiting for the charau-ka to approach and finally lashes out against one as it move into range!

Batah singes the same charau-ka with a fire bolt!

Slachagok swings his falchion at the other charau-ka taking a massive swipe on the creature!

Withdrawing his blade from the slain Charu-Ka, the nearby clashing of titans draws Slachagok's attention. Looking to his left, he sees the four-armed gorilla monster land a mighty punch against the steadfast Azlanti golem.

"First Vault, I hope it's our Sorceress inside o' that thing," he grunts. He wheels on the other monkey man and sweeps his falchion downward.

The four Pathfinders manage to cut down the remaining charau-ka quickly.

From just beyond the broken palisade you can see another, much larger wave of charau-ka charging toward the camp, savagely raging and shouting.

As the beasts rush forward, the massive Iron Golem lands two incredible blows on the angazhani champion which crush the skull and spine of the gaint, four-armed creature! The sounds of breaking bones are clearly heard over the chaos of the combats taking place. The angazhani is knocked backward, landing on it's back with an earthshaking thud! Blood pours from the smashed remains of the creature's skull into the dirt.

The rushing mass of charau-ka practically stop in their tracks at the site of their champion laid low before their eyes. Within seconds they are reversing direction, scattering in all directions. All directions but one anyway.

A cheer goes up from the camp’s defenders as the last of the charau-ka are slain or forced back out of the palisade wall’s breach. Haggard yet determined, the defenders quickly begin piling wrecked logs in the breach to prevent the charau-ka from making another easy attack. The glowing intensity of the pearl orb visibly fades.

Alafair's mind inside the golem feels the pull to return to the chamber with the others.

"Chop an' salt this lot, an' they'll fix their rations for a month." He turns to the nearest camp resident.

"This can't be typical for ye folk."

With the charau-ka and their champion defeated, Pathfinder Dias approaches the party, "That was absolutely amazing! I've...I've never seen anything like it!" Shaking her head in disbelief. "I'm afraid we cannot stay though. My reports back to the Ten will not diminish your contributions here in any way. You Pathfinders have long, glorious careers ahead if you!"

Looking around the remains of her camp, Dias says "I think it's best of we hightail it back to Absalom with the key and the orb. Don't you?It'll only take a day or two to make our preparations and be underway."

"Thank you again! Without your help, surely we would all have been slaughtered by those vile monkey-men," Pathfinder Dias says shaking each hand firmly in turn.

"If ye've got a plan t' get this great glowin' marble out o' here, by all means."
