Adriana Korinne |
"Excuse me...girl over here?" Adriana remarks, with a frown on her face as she prepares herself for combat.
Its not that I don't want to fight, its that charging into 5 of them is just asking to be flanked. Adriana is readying an action to strike when a thug walks up into her melee range.

Ishingka moves up and tosses a flask on the thug directly opposite her. "Catch fire," she says, her eyes reflecting the sudden flare of flame.
Thug to the east gets 1 point of fire damage too; unsure if thug to the west does--by RAW I think so, but who knows.
Z'hor'll B'bblebr'x |
Z'hor'll will ready to use Hydraulic Push as a Trip when a bad guy gets to the square marked with a "z". This will use his daily racial use of the SLA.

-Zoren- |
Zoren moves forward and says "Let there be dark!" as darkness spreads around him. Object touched is himself, with a 20 ft radius around him. Circle is where the darkness spell is.
GM Tyranius |
Adriana continues to prepare herself for the assault as Ishingka hurls a vial of alchemist's fire at the thugs. Fire erupts all around them.
Darkness erupts from within Zoren blanketing the entire entrance
Alistar prepares an arrow as Z'Hor'll prepares a spell when the enemies come closer.
The thugs move in with their spiked chains. How are we supposed to see in this crap! Both chains whirls through the darkness not striking anything near their target.

Adriana steps forward helping Zoren to completely block the entrance as she cleaves her greatsword through the man in front of her.

Better than drawing the hammer and Zoren giving them soft cover. :D I don't know if I draw an AoO as they can't see, but as a bloodrager, I don't care!
GM Tyranius |
Seeing as it has been over 24 hours I will delay Alistar's action for now to move forward.
Ishingka moves past Adriana to get into position. The thug notices and whips his spiked chain at the woman. The chain strikes the wall with a clang. Ishingka retaliates by repeatedly clawing the man's face and dropping him to the ground

Zoren steps forward and smashes his Morningstar into the bard's head, caving in the right side o his face causing him to collapse to the ground.
Combat over. These guys didn't stand a chance
-Zoren- |
I love it when darkness works to our advantage. :) After picking up his dagger, Zoren walks over to Randalan and kicks him. "That's for taking my dagger." He checks the bodies for anything useable, then says "So, shall we go and report that the deed is done?"
Ishingka Thulkarian |
Ishingka, somewhat tired, takes a moment to clean her now regular sized nails. "The Almsman and his protected can breathe a little easier now. Yes, let's tell him."
She stretches her weary limbs mightily, joints cracking, and pulls out her hammer. "Just in case," she explains.
go darkness + darkvision team combo!
GM Tyranius |
Zoren opens the secret door to which the Almsman's mask peers out from around the corner. He hastily thanks you for momentarily stopping the thugs and vagabonds that were trying to desecrate his sanctuary.
The Almsman digs through a sack producing 2 vials which he hands to Ishingka. These are 2 vials of oil of bless weapon for thanks in helping all of us. The Almsman also gives the party the directions to the Prince's dwelling. You must ravel east to the next branch and then go south. Look out for a mossy, overgrown door marked "Skytower" along the southern wall and you will be at his dwelling.
Z'hor'll B'bblebr'x |
"Thank you, sir. Hopefully your troubles are over, and we'll be able to save the Prince's army."
Ishingka Thulkarian |
"We are grateful for what you have done here, Almsman, and we humbly accept your gifts," says Ishingka, taking the vials and bending the knee rather gracefully.
Was that four rounds? Gotta mark down bloodrage...
GM Tyranius |
The Almsman’s directions lead to a heavy wooden door. A sign
on the door is partially obscured by grime and moss, and the
word “Skytower” is still barely legible.
Z'hor'll B'bblebr'x |
"Friends, I think we are here. Let's make our way in, and find out what has happened here."
Because he is curious Z'hor'll cast Prestidigitation, and cleans off the door and the sign. He'll also go ahead and clean off his companions, if necessary.
GM Tyranius |
Z'Hor'll opens the door to find a room that was once the basement of a building above, but the stairs in the far corner are now choked with charred rubble and seem to lead to a new stone foundation of the new building above. Odd furniture and knick-knacks of all description fill the remaining space, and strange winged effigies made of wood and broken pottery are arrayed in a bizarre diorama. The focal point of this display is a pair of chairs standing on different-sized piles of old crates like thrones on a dais. A charred and shriveled corpse dressed in rotting and burnt finery and wearing a tin crown is propped up in one of the chairs while the other, lower chair, sits vacant.
Alistar goes up to the corpse in the higher chair and notices thatthere is an inscription writing crudely on the tin crown. He spits o a rag and wipes the dirt off of the area that reads “Emperor Relios.”
Amidst the furniture is a desk with several log books and journals. Most of them detail the day-to-day transactions of the Emporium, but one is Relios’s personal journal. It details the goings on of many of his wealthy clients, as well as Relios’s personal life including the details of his ancestry and his son’s birth. One of the last ledgers mentions that Relios was falling on hard times and intended to sell his wayfinder back to the Pathfinder Society. The ledgers also show that Relios was selling a steady stream of yellowcap mushrooms to members of the pre-revolution high society in Augustana.
The next rooms are vaults lined with shelves thick
with growing yellowcap mushrooms.

among the nobility decades ago, but fell out of fashion in

As Ishingka peers around the back alcove she sees that someone has painted a portal on the wall. A large circle of swirling colorful patterns. On the floor lies an open and empty scroll case next to a slightly charred, blank piece of parchment.
Also in the room are three creatures with bloated frames, shuddering with each heaving step. Yet despite its shape it seems to have a quickness about it.
