Checking in. I need to update her sheet. She hasn't played on the boards since she was level one and a Ranger.

Einn is an Ulfen woman. Tall and blond as most are. She started out life as a ranger, but the magic in her blood came to the front. She's quite uncomfortable to no longer be able to wear armor, and keeps a weapon on her at all times. She's been spending time tracking down a Razmiran priest, and finding some missing items for them.

She had dragon blood running through her veins, and has low light vision as a human.

Someone is going to need to do the talking here, and I don't mind Luurg doing it, he's really not going to be your best option with a negative CHA. He's friendly and all but some people just can't over the fat, dirty, orcishness he brings to the table I guess...

I don't know what the cargo is or the crew size. Trying to figure that out before I do any talking, really. Assuming we have been on the ship for a week at least, we would figure this out at some point.

I was just rolling for the DC 34 check. I don;t know what is behind the spoiler though so I don't know what I was rolling for. Thought it would be a good idea to find out before I did any talking. But failing that role, I think Guy has the best diplomacy skill for a normal talk. I'll post something now.

So the pilgrim choice doesn't seem to be getting many votes (one)

We have a couple of votes for going in as merchants.

And a couple of votes for sneaking around and learn what we can at night without using one of the suggested covers.

I have only a little bit of intimidate so im ok with the merchant thing cause of my profession. Trying to lie that im on some pilgrimage isnt gonna work for her. Or i can pose as a body guard for anyone on a pilgrimage. Im ok with whatever everyone decides

Sorry I'm a bit confused here. So these guys came out of the secret door to the East?

We're in round 2, what happened to round 1? No initiative rolls?

As far as I know, assuming they got a free surprise round on us, the three devils would each get a standard action in the surprise round, 1 of which would need to be used to open the secret door, leaving that individual inside the secret room. The other two then could either move out into the prison room or summon a swarm (depending on the casting time of course).

It seems like you gave the baddies here an extra free round in addition to the free surprise round without giving us an initiative roll and chance to act. If they beat us all in initiative then so be it. Not sure if any of us have combat reflexes, I know Luurg does not.

It's supposed to be round 1. I have fat finder syndrome today.

Initiative-I tend not to use it much since I will update in the order you post. This way it makes it easier on everyone to get their actions in without waiting on someone else. If this is a problem and you want to go by initiative then I can use that instead.

They were in the secret room, yes. They were going to surprise you if you opened the cell doirs(metal on metal noice). Technically you could of grabbed the prisoners without alarming them , but this would go against some success conditions and I wanted to avoid that. The creatures patrol the hallways at certain intervals anyway. Them coming out was their patrol and finding all of you as a surprise. The spider swarm is summoned before combat by Teplebaas no matter what. It's more of a annoyance. It seems I did give them extra rounds so if anyone objects or wants I can take away any moves or attacks by the creatures. I only let them go because I expected them to not hit anything.

Anybody else have any thoughts.

Ok that makes a bit more sense now. I'm mostly concerned for Einn, as having some many enemies close as a sorceror can be very career threatening. Luurg (other than being invisible) is hardy.
