Male Human (Minnesota) GM 4 The Disappeared Tactical Map,

The team makes their way to the Blakros museum... discussing their various knowledges on the way... three knowlesge checks: Nobility, local and local.

KN: Nobility on the Blakros Family DC10+:
The Blakros are one of the wealthiest and most well known merchant families from Taldor. They own a variety of businesses with interests all over the Inner Sea.

KN: Nobility on the Blakros Family 15+:
For years, the Pathfinder Society and the Blakros family have been allies, even if only at arm’s length. Occasionally the family invites notable Pathfinders to one of its high-society affairs.

KN: Nobility on the Blakros Family 20+:
The Blakros family has been involved with some shady organizations during its rise to power, including the Onyx Alliance and House Thrune.

KN: Local on the Blakros Museum DC10+:
The Blakros Museum is located in the Wise District, owned by the Blakros family, and curated by Nigel Aldain (a former Pathfinder). It is open to the public when an exhibit is on display. Though the exterior of the building is ugly and squat, patrons marvel at how much bigger it is on the inside.

KN: Local on the Blakros Museum DC15+:
The museum has been closed for the past several months, ramping up for a huge exhibit, “Legacy of the Shining Crusade,” opening next week.
[spoiler=KN: Local on the Blakros Museum DC20+] Rumors suggest that shadow magic makes the inside of the museum larger. A few years ago the inside changed drastically, which drew the curiosity of many in Absalom.

KN: Local on the Blakros Museum DC25+:
Ralzeros the Overwatched was a powerful wizard who owned the building before the Blakros Family. Evidence suggests he cursed the building on his death. The number of accidents and strange events that occur

KN: Local on Nigel Aldain DC10+:
Though the relationship between the Society and Nigel is often strained, they remain steadfast allies. Nigel often collaborates with the Society, loaning artifacts and trading information. He has obsessively researched the Shining Crusade for the past several months.

KN: Local on Nigel Aldain DC15+:
Nigel is a former Pathfinder who resigned after marrying Dhrami Blakros; the position of curator was part of his marriage contract.

KN: Local on Nigel Aldain DC20+:
Nigel’s museum has suffered many mishaps since he became curator, which the Society has regularly helped clean up. Nigel still tries to distance himself from the Society and act independently, but when trouble befalls the museum, he often turns to the Society for help.

KN: Local on Nigel Aldain DC25+:
Recently, Nigel has spent a fortune in security for the museum, particularly in magical protections from the Arcanamirium and Golemworks in Magnimar.

Dozens of Wise District guards surround the Blakros Museum. The sergeant nods to Ambrus Valsin as he approaches, a subtle smirk dancing across the venture-captain’s face. The museum itself is alight with swirling whorls of color and the sounds of metal and stone clashing. Occasionally, brief flashes of light burst from the front entrance, illuminating a toppled banner that says “Legacy of the Shining Crusade.”

Laughing along with his group at the table, Samildanach tries to picture Prisim green but struggles to do so, the effect in his mind causing to chuckle softly to himself. Enjoying the banter and playful bickering, the Privateer is just getting truly relaxed when the Venture-captain and the Blakros troublemaker burst in to reveal the latest folly at the Museum. Rolling his eyes as he stands up and rushes off to collect his gear, the Half-orc returns with his battered overcoat thrown over a dull grey breastplate and an array of Tridents on his back in a large quiver-like bag. His green face had also been painted with black kohl to resemble a snarling demon.

"Right, let us save the museum-again!" he growls as they rush across the city.

Knowing little about the Museum or its curator, despite being there once and being attacked by the exhibit of the month, Samildanach listens intently to any intelligence his allies can share. Reaching the cordon he nods to the sergeant and looks up at the Museum intently.

"Right, is there a rear entrance to this place? Or are we bursting through the front?"

"I remember displays on the 1st floor, a moldy library. There was a basement full of nasty stuff. We were there to rescue a pretty woman--I think she was one of the Black Roses. When we found her, there were tentacles sticking out of her head. She was prettier after we took out the tentacles..."

Male Human (Minnesota) GM 4 The Disappeared Tactical Map,

The party makes their way into the museum..

Under a sign that reads “The Shining Armory,” priceless Shining Crusade artifacts displayed on pedestals creak and move by some unseen force. Eerie light seems to dart between the objects while the din of a raging battle echoes throughout the chamber. The central feature is a low, artificial hill atop which stand two stuffed owlbears surrounded by shattered undead foes. Each of the beasts wears chainmail barding and an orange-and-black caparison depicting a stylized owlbear. A dead man dressed in furs lies on the floor before a suit of fullplate armor.

I wouldn't say no to Heroism, but I am sure urktar would benefit most.

Cursing as they set upon by mere guard dogs, Samildanach slams out with his wooden shield, causing the creature to chew on the edge of the expensive darkwood. "Cursed Mutt, how do you like Shackles' Iron eh?"

Tempted to pray for blessing, Samildanach realises they are in danger of being overwhelmed and so strikes out at the dog in a blue collar, trying to keep it off the downed Urktar.

I do realise my path will draw an AOO fro the dog. It may also give Devonalia a chance to get away.

Whirling his quarterstaff wildly, he seems inept at it as he seems to swing it above his head for no other reason because he can.

Male Human (Minnesota) GM 4 The Disappeared Tactical Map,

you cannot charge through allies unless you have an ability that allows you to do so.

Seiran moves around his allies to help Devonalia but to no avail.

The dogs continue attacking their previous targets..

Sorry, thought I'd mentioned what it meant when I said it in the discussion ><.
