Zurnzal finishes his attacks against the gunslinger by missing him.
Telandril takes a step away from Shihoraj and her flanking. He glares at Marnarius Swift Action: Smite Evil and then attacks with his bow...
I will wait for the AoO from Marnarius at this time - you have until 15:00CST to post, or you will do a simple attack.

He will attempt a trip!
trip 1d20 + 14 + 1 haste +2 studied: 1d20 + 14 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 14 + 1 + 2 = 29
Anything to avoid an infinite barrage of smitey arrows. Not sure if there should be a -4 in there or if there are any bonuses I'm forgetting.
I hope I did that right! Should I have used my CMB instead when using a weapon and how does the +2 on the weapon affect things. If I add the weapon's +2 I think I get +14 anyway so I'm hoping it is all right. Please straighten out the math if I did it wrong.
GM.Silbeg |
Trip would be CMB not AB, but since it is an attack roll you do get the enhancement bonus of the weapon. As I read it, you should have a trip CMB of 12 + 2 + 2 + 1 (which is a wash)
As the paladin attempts to shoot, Marnarius trips him. He then stands up again (provoking once more if Marnarius had Combat Reflexes).

GM, when I saw the half-orc cast her Haste and Glitterdust, did she use any material components? This is a very important question.

Marnarius PBP |
The paladin falls after the first two scythe blows, so he is able to stay his hand on the third swing.
Yea, NOT. That last blow falls on his slumping body. For all Marnarius knows, that mage may have a healing bent and that Paladin is NOT getting up again if he can help it. Besides, Marnarius likes kicking a downed opponent.
Unless the viscious damage is applied after every hit? Then he would back off. But from what I saw, you only applied it once. I suspect that was an oversight and you 'owe' Marnarius another d6 and he will indeed back off out of self preservation. I applied the 1 point to his status line and look forward to the extra damage. It was worth it.
Marnarius PBP |
When the Paladin goes down, Marnarius casts his eyes towards the mage and says, "Still in the mood green boy? Can you even use that little toy axe you carry around? I'm tempted to let you go just so the Pathfinders will remain burdened with your ineffectual presence."
That was probably a really stupid move for my character, but he is a bully and there's nothing like a little success to embolden someone like him.

Marnarius will stand there mockingly with his hands up near his head (but near his bow) and wait for him to start casting. When he does, provided the sorcerer lives that long, he will drop the scythe, quick draw the bow, and plug him with arrows (assuming no surprises).
Now, is that legal? Will I get to fire before he finishes the spell and interrupt it if I do this? If not, treat these shots as going off on his initiative and study/add 2 for study bonus. Shi, think of yourself as a whirling flurry of distraction instead of destruction. Mister Z - Incognito |
Z goes through his "loot the body" routine (close the doors, pad the dead down, tear out tongues to foil speak with dead... the usual).
"Someone, clean up all that blood."
Rataji the Resourceful |
"If you want the blood cleaned, you'll have to revive Joli first. She's the one with the cleaning spell." Rataji looks over at Shihoraj. "How good are you at triggering magic devices, Shi? There's one charge left on Vara's cure wand. Can you use it to bring her back?"
Then realizing that Z might be looking at him, Rataji covers for his own emotions. "We'll need our healer, and she has other tricks besides."
