Yes, that should have been "Magic" trait, so you are good. :) And so anyone else reading this understands, the first monster you faced was a Plague Zombie. My formatting was wrong, but it did say Plague Zombie in the powers section.

I know that I will have to get used to this whole "scouting out for the rest of you" thing that Alahazra does. :)

Yes! Just make sure you end your turn with your hand size (draw up or discard)


Ah. In that case, unless someone in my location next turn wants the Long Sword (Ostog?), I'll discard it to draw a proper card.

One more question. In the sheet, do we note a recharged card as 'Deck'?

Yep, if you've recharged a card, it's gone back into your Deck, so you put it as 'Deck'.

I think that's the case with all of us. We've just had way more trial in the trial and error coupling than you have. That sheet was created as a rough attempt to keep track of everything but it certainly has flaws.

It's informative to the GM and a nice placeholder to show you've finished your turn. Also in the notes section you can say things like "Yes can use my blessings", etc.

Not to double-guess you, but since the LongSword you just gained is a Slashing weapon, I think you're better off keeping that in hand than discarding it. :)

Yeah it also has a decent discard power so you could use it once for a big hit, up to you!

I just had an AHA moment.

I don't have a PACG set. I only have the Monk Class deck. I knew that part already. :p

And I knew we'd get boons, but didn't ask sooner how to get the stats on them. I was still thinking of the boons as placeholders for end of mission deck management. Probably because ppl use a placeholder card in their physical deck to represent the card. Who knows.

I must have thought I would look them up as the cards were shown, and didn't follow up to ask where to do that, or ask for a better suggestion.

I will give you the stats as we go along. For the Longsword:

Is it all in your Cardwarden DB ?


Yes, except that I've run out of room as their is a limit of 1000 cards in one "box" and I can't have the 5 class decks and all of the ROTR cards at the same time. I'm currently keeping the decks by hand and using the ROTR cards in CardWarden.

I forgot how easy MCM was to acquire.

Craft to see if Slime must be banished: 1d12 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
It must.
Zap!: 1d12 + 2d4 ⇒ (3) + (4, 4) = 11
Does Lightning strike twice?: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Defeated and recharged.

Bladeguard:

So just to set up some SOP (standard operating procedure) going forward

If you intend to grind a location no matter what, tell me and I won't waste my scarce scouting on that spot.

On the other hand, if you are mid turn and you really need to know if you should keep exploring, by all means ask!!

Stargazer: I'm not keen at remaining at the Fortress (I'm squishy); I wouldn't mind a peek at the Warrens for my turn though!

I head to the Warrens to sprinkle some Magic on that ghost in the form of a Force Missile to his/her incorporeal face! (I care not for the triggered effect, hohoo!)

Force Missile(12): 1d10 + 3 + 2d4 ⇒ (9) + 3 + (1, 4) = 17
Bottom of my Deck: Lightning Touch (To the Top!)
