Is Temerlyth wearing a lot of magical items?

Finwe2154 wrote: Is Temerlyth wearing a lot of magical items? Yes! I wondered if you were ever going to address that. Temerlyth gives off an overwhelming magical aura, so much so that it would be impossible to discern each distinct aura separately. Essentially your detect magic sense, which is a visual sense, makes him glow so brightly that you have to willfully turn it off even to look at him normally, otherwise it would be like looking into the sun.
Okay, good to know, I was wondering about that.

Clear with a question mark?

Kaze O, just so you're aware, as and antipaladin, you would wear the holy symbol of your deity proudly. You wouldn't hide it from people. As the chosen champion of a deity, it is supposed to be a source of pride. That's why Temerlyth made those comments, my assumption was that you were wearing a holy symbol proudly.
Male Kitsune Antipaladin/1
I'm partially playing the part where he has been rejected because of it, so he would have a natural reaction to hide it at first. He just became an Antipaladin, the end of the backstory is only about 3 months before he got the letter to leave so he doesn't have a clue what to do yet. He'll get to wearing his symbol proudly don't worry.
Battle Grid
Well then I guess Temerlyth would have just used Seek Thoughts on you while you were praying, before he came up and paralyzed you. :)

Or he cast detect thoughts at the beginning of the conversation when he cast that variety of spells to make the room more private.

If he would have cast that when he was making the room more private, Sadira would have noticed.
Maybe it was a stab in the dark... get it? Dark, just like the spell he cast. :)

Too puny red... Too puny...
ehhh they get old quickly, and it takes the right person to enjoy them fully
Battle Grid
If Temerlyth stabbed you in the dark you'd be dead.

I'm out for the night, hopefully tomorrow morning I'll get a chance to intrigue you all about the actual quest. I have a meeting in the morning, though, so I won't be able to actually game in my room. I look forward to reading your responses to Temerlyth's latest criteria.
Oops I seem to have added a post twice, I thought I edited it though. Sorry guys
Battle Grid
"Fa'm Famo oac Io." That... is... awe-some! That should be the new battle cry.
Edit: Have I mentioned yet that this campaign kills it! Simply kills it, and we've only just begun. You haven't even had a combat, puzzle, or trap encounter yet.
Temerlyth said we could search his alchemy and crafting area. What does he have?

Finwe2154 wrote: Temerlyth said we could search his alchemy and crafting area. What does he have? Masterwork tools for any crafting or artisan's trade, as well as many of the materials necessary for those crafts, and a fully stocked alchemist's/craft: alchemy lab. There are not, however, any completed potions already made. If anyone had brew potion, or craft: alchemy they could do some crafting, but that stuff takes time, a long time, at least half of a week with a great roll.
Male Kitsune Antipaladin/1
masterwork tools, Thieves Tools perhaps? Tamerelle might want to grab those.
Are we going to have to go after the horses, or do they just stop after running a little bit?
If we calmly get into the carriage and begin to drive, all in non-frightening forms, we should be able to drive it without much trouble. We are making this harder than it needs to be, if Quim is going to drive she needs to be in humanoid form so she doesn't scare the horses.
I already came to that conclusion, but before we get that far we need to find out what the horses are doing right now and if we have chase after them
Tamarelle I don't think that was necessary because, if they aren't spooked and just stopped then, you wouldn't have to make a check like that then possibly fall off.
Finwe2154 wrote: Tamarelle I don't think that was necessary because, if they aren't spooked and just stopped then, you wouldn't have to make a check like that then possibly fall off. And if they were spooked Tamarelle would not have been in a position to jump onto the carriage.
Alright well now we just have to wait and see whether or not the horses are still running or not.
Haha, you don't know how hard it is to not click the spoiler ;) I'm constantly having to make will saves!
Isn't Tameralle supposed to almost praise her mother ? She just told her mom she was acting childish... Just thoughts, I could be totally off the mark here.
P.S no offense to the person running the character, we're all still learning how to stay in character all the time :)

Well, you could always wait until that part of the story is over and go back and read it when the comment is no longer relevant, or just keep on making those will saves :)
Female Half-Drow Rogue1
Ugh my shedule is so messed up, I'm not finding time post, do homework and fufill social obligations :P. I'm gonna try to post at A lunch and when I get home, just a heads up until my schedule gets more stable I won't be posting as much as I want to.

Just as an FYI for all, it is up to Sadira to enforce any kind of superiority over Tamarelle. If she lets the child insult her, then she lets it happen. Being half-drow, and her only daughter it is possible she would make allowances for her human blood. However, historically, female drow are the unchallenged leaders of their entire households, and would not tolerate any signs of disrespect. Obviously, I can see either side, which is why I'm posting this. I'll leave it up to Sadira and Tamarelle to figure out how they're going to work together, but I'll just say this. It would not be beyond the scope of reason for Sadira to just kill her daughter if she felt disrespected in a significant way.
I looked at the map in your room and followed the directions given by Temerlyth, and I am pretty sure I understand which way each path leads to. So I now know where I am going ooc.
Femle Drow-Noble Cleric/1
Ya people sounds better than the creatures from going south.
Quick question, how will initiative and crits be handled?
Does Sadira see any magic around the carriage?
Idk if she did she wouldn't necessarily tell you.
Ya, but I'm wondering for you.
Ehhh I doubt it has magic , it's just a carriage, I feel like it wouldn't have much magic.
It could be an invisibility carriage!!!
Male Kitsune Antipaladin/1
Ha love it!! Had to check to make sure I knew Elven and what do you know, the one language I actually picked. Perfect!
