2nd level warriors really are your kryptonite, aren't they?
The man who opened the door takes a moment to find his grounding and then attack Tai Leng with his dagger.
stab: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Similarly, the crossbowman injured by Kadir's bullet aims for a second before shooting the wolf who appeared out of thin air.
bolt: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
8 damage to Eitylen; 10 damage to wolfie.
Kadir's turn.
EDIT: BTW, where did Eitylen move to? Tai Leng is blocking his way into the house. I don't mind characters being able to move through their allies squares, though.
Tai Leng |
You can move through allies' squares regardless.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
Leng dodges the near-swung dagger.
And retaliates.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Poorly.
Eitylen |
EDIT: BTW, where did Eitylen move to? Tai Leng is blocking his way into the house. I don't mind characters being able to move through their allies squares, though.
I moved to the position I'm currently In and attacked the diagonal
GM Lemmy |
You can move through allies' squares regardless.
I know. I've met GM who forbid it though... I'm not sure why... Apparently it's not very realistic to have your elf arcane archer move too close to your orc barbarian.
I moved to the position I'm currently In and attacked the diagonal
I don't think you can do that. The wall gets in your way. Kinda like how you can't attack through a corner.
Kadir Drummond |
Kadir holds his musket out with both his hands and begins to list a series of transmutive formulas as the gun glows and hovers off his hands.
Casts Reloading hands, swift action to animate weapon, free action to direct it
The musket then snaps forward and flies through the door above the fighting, zipping up above the combatants and spinning in all direction before firing on its target, the crossbowman who Kadir had first fired upon.
Musket: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 232d8 ⇒ (2, 7) = 9
Might need a gun token
GM Lemmy |
Kadir's gun puts another man down. Unfortunately, it's not enough to discourage his allies...
The two swordsmen take a moment to regain their balance and then slash at Tai Leng...
sword: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
sword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
Both miss miserably...
What is wrong with this thread?!
Tai Leng's turn
GM Lemmy |
Did I mention door guy is donning full plate under his coat?
Just kidding! Just kidding!
The man in the long coat finally takes a hit, but he's still up. Meanwhile, the lass crossbowman shoots the wolf one more time.
bolt: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
...And hits a wooden box several feet away.
Brother Cyrus' turn
Brother Cyrus |
Brother Cyrus invokes another healing wave that seemingly weaves itself around his foes to avoid healing them to heal his allies.
Channel Energy: 2d10 + 3 ⇒ (2, 8) + 3 = 13
Meanwhile his wolf continues to savage one of the men.
Bite: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Trip: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Eitylen |
tai lent did not moved :(,
Bomb to back up guy 2.2 if posible, if not just some delay
Bobms: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 7 - 4 = 112d6 + 3 ⇒ (6, 2) + 3 = 11
Eitylen |
It seems teh original target wouldalways suffer spalsh damage (It always land adjacent to it), if that is the case then 5 damage, reflex DC 4 for half
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/combat#TOC-Throw-Splash-Weapon
Tai Leng |
You roll a d8 to determine which square it lands in, then apply minimum damage, Ref half, to every creature in the radius. Simple as anything.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30
Leng mysteriously dodges the hit again...
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
...And just as mysteriously misses his own.
Side note, apply 2 more damage to the Door Guy. I forgot Bless and the +1 from Kinetic Fist.
Kadir Drummond |
Kadir's flying musket draws magical energies into it's barrel and fires a magical bullet at the "door guy".
attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 252d8 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9
Kadir then twists one of the lenses in his goggles and suddenly vanishes.
Arcane bond to cast vanish
GM Lemmy |
The hell...?! I could swear I had replied already. oO
"They have conjurers among them!" shouts one of the men. "Call the others!"
One of the swordsman attacks Tai Leng...
sword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28 damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
While the other retaliates against the wolf who bit him, making the creature vanish from sight.
sword: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15 damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
That's 8 damage to Tai Leng... And it's also his turn.
Tai Leng |
Screw it, I'm tired of dodging. Eats my only good rolls.
Leng flexes, and his skin turns stony, mitigating the damage of the hit.
Spending my one Drunken Ki point to up that to DR to DR 2/Adamantine.
He then SMASHes the Door Guy again.
ATTTAAAACK!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 10 + 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 10 + (4) + 1 = 18
GM Lemmy |
Oh, my mistake! Door guy is already down from Kadir's bullet. Let's say you punched the guy who attacked you last turn. (BTW you couldn't have use Snake Fang anyway, you already used it last round).
Ugh... I think I had deleted one of the back up guys by accident. ><'. Well... You knock him out anyway...
Kadir and Tai Leng's attacks take down two of the thugs...
"Shit!" shouts one of the thugs...
Seeing his allies falling unconscious, the last crossbowman standing decides it's time for a tactical retreat and runs upstairs.
Brother Cyrus' turn.
GM Lemmy |
Hey there, folk! I'm using my father's PC. It's 5pm over here (and hot as hell!). I'll soon b leaving for my Christmas dinner, but I wanted to take the chance to wish you all a Merry Christimas/Happy Hannukah/Happy whatever-you-celebrate once again and tell you that I'me able to post without any problem... So once you guys stop devouring holidays food, come here to try and kill some NPCs! Cheers!
PS: Still Brother Cyrus turn. XD
Brother Cyrus |
Is the Roll20 map up to date?
Brother Cyrus simply enters the building and readies an action to summon another wolf next to the enemy should one come from upstairs or downstairs.
"Well there's more upstairs, but they have to go through us to leave...maybe it's best if we wait here?" Cyrus expertly deducts.
Eitylen |
5 ft and attack
Fenit: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
Stab: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 141d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
sneak damage: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9
Kadir Drummond |
Kadir spins the barrels of his pepperbox, listening to the roulette sound each chamber makes as it clicks into place. "Just remember to catch the musket this time Kadir," reminding himself of an embarrassing event where he tripped over his own animated musket while charging into battle against a band of brigands.
Kadir Drummond |
Kadir steps through the door and ducks around the flurry of melee while hidden behind the his veil of magics. Turning, Kadir takes a shot with his pepperbox at the nearest thug, appearing in a puff of black powder.
Pepperbox: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 181d10 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
His musket spins around and fires on the same target with its last volley before flipping through the air into Kadir's waiting hand.
Musket: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 262d8 ⇒ (6, 8) = 14
GM Lemmy |
First post of 2015! Yay! Blessed be the foresight to save character sheets in my pendrive! :D
EDIT: Nvm... Kadir killed the last two guys.
The mage's bullets prove deadly once again, and the last of your opposition falls unconscious and bleeding... These men will most likely die if left unattended.
There is little to be seen in this room. It's windows are boarded, and only a few candles provide light to the environment... There are 8 boxes lying around, all of them with nailed lids.
There are two stairs, one leading to the upper floor and another going down to the basement. There is also a second door, which is locked. approaching it allows you to notice a feint smell of vinegar...
You hear a loud "thump" coming from outside the house, followed by a grunt and many quick-paced footsteps.
Kadir Drummond |
Kadir looks over the bodies of the dying men and motions for Brother Cyrus to help him. "We might be able to get some info out of him if you revive him," he says, wincing while pointing his pepperbox at his chest.
Might have to check and see who's alive
GM Lemmy |
Might have to check and see who's alive
Right now, every enemy in this room is unconscious and bleeding to death, but still alive.
Opening one of the wooden boxes (or crates... I don't know what's the difference. I think crates include the lid when calculating their strength), Tai Leng finds 6 glass vials buried in sawdust, they are all filled with a purple-colored liquid. It's very similar to the mutagen carried by the masked gnome who attacked you.
