Welcome to Blue Shell Island - The Land of New Beginnings! Now try to make sure it doesn't bring your end as well... At least, not too soon.
Initiative for Current Combat:
Eitylen
Frederick
Dwarf Priest
Elf Archer
Stone Demon
Staff Orc
Jaazkara
Stone Warrior
Brother Cyrus
Scimitar Human
Round: 7
Current Turn: Eitylen & Frederick
Combat Rules:
Keep in mind that if you're next to each other in Initiative count, you can switch attack order if you want. If you post more or less simultaneously, I'll follow the "official" Initiative order and allow whoever goes second to change his action if something relevant happens (e.g.: the first guy kills the second guy's target).
Additionally, remember that you have 24h before I allow other players to control your character and 48h before I simply skip your turn. Similarly, if I don't post a creature's actions for 48h, you are allowed to consider I skipped its turn.
Last, but not least.. If I have to allow others to control your character or skip your turn twice in a row, I'll start allowing other players to decide your character's actions as soon as your turn comes up for the rest of the combat. I'll still wait 48h before skipping your turn, though.
The PCs have just returned from the swamp. They're about to get paid for their job, actually (or they'd be if someone posted something to move the story along! :P).
You actually returned at a good point, just between quests.
Eitylen is still around. I was going to "kick" him once the group arrived in Blue Shell, since we had no diea if/when you'd be back, but if you still want to play him, he's welcome to stay.
Huh? Casting stats are the same as always... Pick a mental attribute and that's your casting attribute.
Spontaneous castings gets 2 spells per level... Those spells may be of any spell level the caster is capable of casting. It also follows the Wizard/Cleric spell progression (2nd level spells at 3rd level, 3rd level spells at 5th level, etc, etc). At these levels, you have 1 fewer spell per day than you'd have at the next level (e.g.: if a sorcerer usually gets 3 2nd levels spells per day at 4th level, he now gets 2 2nd level spells at 3rd level).
Additionally, the cost of spell casting has been streamlined. Its costs depends on what spell list you're progressing... 1 build point/level for Ranger/Paladin/Bloodrager, 2 bp/level for Bard/Inquisitor/Magus/etc and 4 bp/level for Cleric/Druid/Wizard/etc.
Hey, guys... Sorry for the silence around here... I basically had no time home in the last 3 days, so I couldn't really focus on the campaign. Literally everything I posted during this time was from my phone.
Everything should be back to normal tomorrow... So expect a new campaign post in 20h or so. :)
Yeah was starting to get worried. Though it came quite convenient as I have been pretty busy with trying to land a new job lately. Got the second interview slated for next wednesday with the manager! =D
So that went well, I'm gonna be workin for a bank now! Hooray! My training starts on June 6th! Just gotta pass the background and fingerprint check.

Btw, I know it's been a while, but what paragon powers were you seeking input on? I wanted to stay true to my word and look them over, but realized the times I went to do so that I didn't know what exactly I was looking to research.
I always appreciate feedback on any of them, actually... But at that time I was asking for suggestions for new Paragon Powers... I had a few ideas (such as Spell Resistance and Intangibility), but couldn't think of much more... :P
Another thing I'm considering is updating the Warlord archetype so that some of its abilities come into play sooner (specifically, "Lead by Example" and "Strike as One"), but I don't know how to organize the other class features... I thought about removing Fearless, but it fits the archetype too well. ><'
I could do that with charisma (AC, all saves, initiative, dumping dex to the floor). But on a second thought, I better play Eitylen again and leave the new char for in case Eitylen die (and because I have paralisys by analysis).

You could... But then I'd feel free (and motivated) to create equally cheesy NPCs.
The Class Builder is very abusable by its very nature... So let's hold back. I'd rather not have to drop it (or the whole campaign) because of insanely optimized "classes".
I never do insanely optimized chars anyways (though the charisma thing can be done with an oracle in RAW, unless they have nerfed that charisma to saves feat).

It's possible to ban/houserule/nerf stuff found in RAW as well... RAW is not a good metric for balance, anyway.
And yes, they nerfed that feat. To the ground. It's completely awful now.
Just remembered I never finished that minor rebuild of Frederick. Was wondering if you'd allow me to count as having Weapon Training for the purposes of Weapon Mastery Feats? Specifically for Cut and Smash From The Air.
I have 3 Feats I need to burn, otherwise/in addition.
