Welcome to Blue Shell Island - The Land of New Beginnings! Now try to make sure it doesn't bring your end as well... At least, not too soon.
Initiative for Current Combat:
Eitylen
Frederick
Dwarf Priest
Elf Archer
Stone Demon
Staff Orc
Jaazkara
Stone Warrior
Brother Cyrus
Scimitar Human
Round: 7
Current Turn: Eitylen & Frederick
Combat Rules:
Keep in mind that if you're next to each other in Initiative count, you can switch attack order if you want. If you post more or less simultaneously, I'll follow the "official" Initiative order and allow whoever goes second to change his action if something relevant happens (e.g.: the first guy kills the second guy's target).
Additionally, remember that you have 24h before I allow other players to control your character and 48h before I simply skip your turn. Similarly, if I don't post a creature's actions for 48h, you are allowed to consider I skipped its turn.
Last, but not least.. If I have to allow others to control your character or skip your turn twice in a row, I'll start allowing other players to decide your character's actions as soon as your turn comes up for the rest of the combat. I'll still wait 48h before skipping your turn, though.
Very well. I'm not a fan of controlling PCs because it's difficult to keep GM/PC knowledge apart... So I'll just control Eitylen in combat. In other situations, either you control him or he just follows you silently and makes no suggestions.

So, if the houserules regarding proficient armor state that you dont suffer ACP or speed reduction, that basically makes armor training obsolete, correct? Other than the increase to Dex bonus that is. Which is a moot point for a barb-based character. If so, may I swap it out for something more out-of-combat useful?

Ah, ok. I'll reread the whole houserule guide this time. I may have missed other things as well. And thanks for the ACP info, I must have overlooked it because it was hiding near the bit about ASF
Figured I'd post since I just thought of it again (I explained this to Scavion a few days ago, and figured other people might have the same question).
In case anyone has been wondering about Frederick's seeming attitude shifts, Frederick basically has two "personalities".
There is normal Frederick, the kind-hearted, somewhat too naive and trusting "stranger in a strange land".
Then there is Frederick when he's Centered, who is much more clinical and focused on the most efficient path to whatever goal he's focused on. Centered Frederick is not kind-hearted. Though neither is he cruel, just expedient.
In alignment terms, I'd peg "normal" Frederick as Neutral Good, and "Centered" Frederick as True Neutral or Lawful Neutral.

I assume most if not all of you will agree with me when I say that I don't think it's necessarily an evil act to eat the corpses of other intelligent Humanoids. Especially in the case of tribal or primitive cultures who may do it out of ritual for honor or those that do so out of necessity. Or those that practice some kind weird "communal-life-cycle"(or whatever)beliefs. And with the stated lack/minimization of alignment I figure it was an acceptable character moment.
Sorry, Jaazkara is now the epitome of Evil and will be constantly harassed by Paladins who Smite first and ask later. XD

Seriously, though... I don't think cannibalism per se is Evil... It just depends on the circumstances of it. Eating a heart as a tribute to fallen enemies may be okay, killing someone just so you can eat their heart is not. And so on... I even made an argument similar to yours a couple weeks ago in one thread or another...
But again, I really don't give a flying f#&+ about alignment and would rather completely remove it from the game. ><'
On a more serious note, even if Nicos WASN'T gone (leaving Korak as LITERALLY THE ONLY CHARACTER), I still have no clue where to take Myrial from where we left it.

I blame a childhood spent often hungry, playing Nethack and other Rogue-Like games, and a profound RL respect for the sacred Hunter-Prey bond that is all but eliminated from modern society. When I hunt in RL, I eat the raw hearts to commune with my prey and thank it for its sacrifice.
And at the risk of sounding completely bat-s~!% crazy, I also form the bones and teeth into tools or little knick-knacks, the furs into leather or fabric, and the offal into lures and bait. I still have a small blanket made from a deer pelt. I give other nature enthusiasts most of the stuff I craft.
That's... different. But we all have our habits and hobbies.
I wouldn't consider you crazy for that... Even if I did, I honestly don't care what bat-s@+* crazy insanity anyone likes, as long as it doesn't harm anyone else or their rights.

I applaud and share that worldview. And thanks Scavion. I mostly do it to be a little closer to our primal roots without actual primal violence, and I feel if you slay something for food you should utilize all of it that you are able.
Weekends are kinda slow. People usually have other plans... Mos people, that is. I spent my weekend playing Street Fighter V and following the news about the protests in Brazil.
Hah! The best archetype in Ultimate Intrigue for Rogues gives up almost all of the Rogue Talents till like 12th level for a luck bonus to saves, getting the Steal feats and a bonus to bluff and sleight of hand. Shame about losing trapfinding since most folks will pass it over because MUH TRAPS
