@ Gellius: yeah I meant to have Lena talk to you about that, totally forgot! I'll probably bring it up once the crab situation calms down.
@OMB: do you think that Lena would have heard of Feral mutagens? She grew up in Absalom so I don't know how common that sort of stuff is in Golarion.
@Songan/Phillip: Lena currently has the weapon it's a +1 ghost touch terbutje. I didn't realise it was a martial weapon until recently so I hadn't used it. I think it's two handed though. If anyone wants to use it then go nuts, Leralt is making me nice things :)

Medical status update for you guys: After consulting with an oncologist in Warner Robins, Georgia this morning, I have learned that I have either a grade 2 or grade 3 astrocytoma. It IS cancerous. It is NOT the really bad kind. The oncologist I spoke to told me I have already begun the process of scheduling an appointment at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas with a very experienced neurosurgeon there. I'll find out tomorrow morning when exactly my consultation appointment is but it's almost definitely going to be either next Tuesday or next Thursday and my surgery will likely follow within a couple days of that.
For at least a few days following the surgery, it's probably a safe assumption that I'll be incommunicado with everybody..which I hate, because I love you guys!

Medical Update: I'm at MD Anderson in Houston going through new patient stuff today. Very busy schedule until early afternoon meeting with different specialists and getting the actual surgery scheduled for tomorrow. I should be able to post again tonight, but after that I'm not sure when I'll be able to post again.
They're telling me to expect a local recover of 7-10 days, but it's really all gonna depend on me, so expect me to be incommunicado for around a week or so, beginning tomorrow. Sorry for having to do this to you guys! As soon as I'm able to, I'll let you all know what's going on. My wife has told me she'll sign on for me tomorrow after the surgery is over to let you know how it went.

Phillip is feeling fine... well, as fine as one can feel after an all-day brain operation. They think they removed over 95% percent of his tumor. We'll know for sure after he has a post-op MRI.
He's awake, talking, walking, about to get to eat something... Just letting everyone know he's okay like he asked me to do!

Hey all, still here. Been crazy busy and I think, after more than five straight years of PbP, I was a little burnt out and needed a bit of a break.
If Catila and I are still welcome, I'm still game to continue along with you all. If not, an/or you want some new blood along, no worries and no hard feelings.
Either way, it's been great fun. Thanks!
@Phillp (and Mrs Phillip : ) Great to hear everything has gone so well so far. Sending healing thoughts and well wishes to you all. Be well!

Hey gang! Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm back home, recovering from the surgery. Got some very good news from the neurooncologist. The mass that they found in my brain is a grade 2 astrocytoma, the lower grade it could've been. The neurosurgeon was able to remove (according to him) 95-98% of the tumor with the surgery, which my wife has already told you.
At present, because the tumor is grade 2 and the nature of grade 2 astrocytomas is that they are very slow-growing, I do not require any follow-up treatment in the form of radiation or chemotherapy. Moving forward, the treatment plan seems to be that I'm going to have to have an MRI done roughly every quarter to check and see if the tumor has started growing again. When it does, it is at that point that I'll need to seek out radiation/chemo or whatever. But for right now, I am hunky-dory!

Work's been super busy for me. I had wall to wall meetings today and since I mostly post at work, it cuts into my time. Plus I've got a local Con coming up where I'm running PFS including five games. It's a bad locus of work, play-work and more work. I expect things to pick up around Memorial Day. In the meantime, I'm not dead, just dreaming.

Not exactly. It's a psionic memory bubble, as will become apparent as soon as I have time to write a really long post.

Psionic stuff will be very rare indeed. This mainly only exists as a plot exposition device. I will not be springing any sudden psionic monsters or attacks on you. But the DM needs the occasional way to expound upon plot when there is not a convenient method otherwise. Therefore, through the magic of Plot, it exists.

I have fallen into a deep pit and I cannot get out.
Also there are weasels gnawing on my feet.
And I hear the CHUDs getting closer...
Seriously, I got busy at work and fell behind in my DMing duties. Then I felt bad about that so I didn't post. It's a vicious circle.
I plan to re-new my DMliness on Monday with a big post wrapping up the Pale Guardians' lair and kickstarting the next section. After leaving the PG lair, is there anything your characters would like to do?

Instead of doing a recap, I've decided to go in a new direction. I've put up two posts and I really need feedback in them.
