Leralt Littlehorn |
A short recap.
I dont know what tablet is being referred to. Anything that Leralt has been given he made a knowledge check and relied the information on the spot. Sense you cant make more then one knowledge check on a certain subject he cant know more, unless he lvls up anyways. Or finds an outside source relating to the subject like a tome on said subject and only then with DM approval.
The only thing Leralt is currently working on to find out more on is the statue sense he has a spell that helps with that.
Let me know if I missed anything, sometimes its hard to keep track of everything.

You may either roll (re-rolling 1's) or use half+1. Whichever method you choose, please stick to it.
Songan |
Songan is leveled up! Hooray for level 2 spells! Finally get to pick up Pyrotechnics, which was the entire reason I picked up so many tindertwigs and have been saving them. Hopefully there will be opportunity to acquire more of them at some point. I'm sure Leralt could craft some, if nothing else! Tindertwigs or Alchemist Fire would work.
Seeing as how it's known there might be extraplanar creatures to deal with, I think Versatile Weapon would be an excellent spell to take just to make sure I can always have the proper DR-break. Except magic. Which will hopefully be fixed when I get my next feat...though I can't decide if Precise Shot or Arcane Strike is more important.

Rolling for the hell of it.

Still have not figured out what to do with that skill point. No suggestions?
@Songan
Leralt has craft wonderous item but I think both Tindertwigs and alchy fire fall under normal craft or alchemist not magic. May have to ask the good doctor if he has any ranks in craft if not I am sure someone in the colony can make the stuff sense it is fairly common and useful.
As for our future feat choice I would say it depends on your combat style, combat expertise never hurts when a fight turns against you and it scales.
Edit-These dice toy with me I swear.
Songan |
DM OMB, I just realized that they've posted the Advanced Race Guide information on the PRD and was looking through the stuff on there for Catfolk.
I was wondering if you might let me swap the racial trait Sprinter for the racial trait Climber. I haven't used the Sprinter thing yet, nor has any situation where Climbing was needed come up. If it isn't alright, I understand, since we've been started for a while, but I thought it'd be worth it to ask.
Additionally, I'd like to use the Favored Class bonus to get +1/2 to Bardic Knowledge checks per the ARG, but I wanted to get your permission to use ARG options before I make any changes to my character sheet here. Thanks!

Okay, I have taken a stab at a map, Kingmaker style. As you explore more, I will reveal more. Also, this is not the entire map, only the environs around the colony. I'll probably swap out a larger map that show the whole island should it become necessary.
Our Mysterious Benefactor |
The broken statue found in the field. The intact one was found inside the colony, in the Mayor's office.

I will be onm vacation until Tuesday, with sporadic internet access. I will resume regular posting then. Till then, have a good weekend!
Leralt Littlehorn |
I am going to pass on posting during this topic sense I know and have known about hurricanes as far back as I can remember and never knew anyone who did not know about them. At least enough to know they have an eye and such. Thats what I get for being in hurricane area's most of my life. xP
Btw rebuilding is going to be a pain and a good time for any attacks by our enemies.
Our Mysterious Benefactor |
I have no idea what you mean, Leralt. Would enemies attack while you're weak and defenseless? Never!

Ah, I understand where you're coming from on this mate, but it's not what You know that's at issue, but what Leralt knows. I'm sure there's Many things you know that he doesn't. And vice versa! Ya know?
Khaladon |
Hey, keep it in the IC you two! ; ^)
One of the reasons I think it sometimes helps to use our main profile alias in the OOC. It's a simple visual reminder that we're all playing characters who may, and usually are, much different than our real personas.
Ya know?

I think you took my post the wrong way. Sometimes the DM is busy and wont respond for a while, that was not the case this time sense it was pretty much ninja post. xP
That being said I was just pointing out what was already in the DMs post that may have been missed. Thats why I posted in the discussion thread. I never let anything IC cross over OOC, seen it plenty but never done it myself mostly because of just that. Left games cause of that one player that cant let something go from one game that one time and turned it into something personal. Geez I could tell you stories. >.<
P.S. I use the game avatar so I dont confuse myself about which game I am in.
Edit-Glad Leralt used Draconic, had a feeling that weasel was tricky.
Our Mysterious Benefactor |
Tricky weasels? No! Next you'll be resurrecting that theory about enemies taking advantage of your weakness. Perish the thought!
I actually made up Surrek's stat block, because I thought he might be useful. He's a fun little guy. Almost makes me want to play him as a PC sometime.

Ya for sure! Catila already has a big crush on him. Completely platonic of course.
Phillip0614 |
Yeah, Surrek seems like an immensely fun little guy.
Also, for the record, James: I haven't had a great deal of experience in PbPs, this being only my fourth one to have joined, but I've been in tabletops since I was a college freshmen, nigh on thirteen years ago, and this has thus far been one of the most fun and interesting games I've played in. I'm having ten tons of fun!
Our Mysterious Benefactor |
Why thank you! That is flattering and very good to hear! Fun is our goal, after all.
Gellius Krupt |
2 people marked this as a favorite. |
Voiceover:
One is a brilliant but socially maladjusted alchemist from a rich Cheliaxian family. The other, a tiefling master of void magic with identity issues. They already don't like each other, but see what happens when they end up as roommates. Tune in to "Roomies!" as these oddballs collide and hilarity ensues!
Leralt Littlehorn |
Aham Leralt has the 20 Int buddy so remove the brilliant. But really the whole wall thing brought the image of Little Nicky when he sleeps to mind for some reason, so I suggest its sound proof. xD
In case you dont know Little Nicky is a kinda old funny movie.
P.S. What identity issues?
Edit- @Phillip
Maybe its in the weasels pouch. ;)
Shadowborn |
Leralt's sensitive about his demon blood. That counts as an issue with his identity. And Gellius has a 19 Int, so the brilliant stays. Or I can switch "master" and "brilliant" around in the description. Either way, I smell an Emmy.
Phillip: Now that you mention it, yeah, I can see that.
Leralt Littlehorn |
I think your confused, when your race is enslaved, killed, and mistrusted by just about everyone for simply existing. Hiding it is smart, he has no issue with his blood. Other people have an issue with it, if passing for human makes his life easier why wouldn't he work to keep that belief going. If you want to keep the brilliant then I get it too, in the immortal words of a child "I am smarter then you are" so that Emmy is mine. Your the runner up that gets to clap on stage behind the winner. ;P
Btw who is left in the game? We started with a good deal of people but some dont post much and others dont post at all anymore. Can we get a roll call or something?
Our Mysterious Benefactor |
I'm sorry, Orin sent me a message a few days ago. He enjoyed the game, but it's not his style, so he decided to bow out. I think we lost poor Daisy, and I know Mevahk's player has a very stressful job, so we'll just let him lurk in the background until he gets free.
As for the lab: "... And together they fight crime!"
