Two thrusts from the cultists are turned aside by Bollwerk's shield as he rushes in the tower door. Unfazed, the paladin strikes a blow for righteousness. The cut nearly finishes the cultist, when Farasha and Kazul combine to finish him.
The second cultist in the door retreats to take a position with her brethren, and now they set for your attack.

Fabian will step forward and catch as many of the cultists as he can in a fifteen foot cone. Holding out his staff, a scintillating cone of swirling colors shoots forth, assaulting the senses and the minds of the cultists.

If 2HD or less, they are unconscious, blinded, and stunned for 2d4 rounds, then blinded and stunned for 1d4 rounds, then stunned for 1 round. The cultists stagger and blink as Fabian's spell washes over them, but they do not falter. They shake their heads to clear the effects, and fight on! Inspired by the power of Baphomet, they manage to defend against all of the attacks thrown at them!
Some epic dice rolling there.
Then a deep voice calls out from further in the tower: "What's all this then? Oho! Some would-be heroes? Very well!" He speaks a few words of power and points a clawed finger at Farasha.

Blame me for still being a bit n00bly, but none of my characters has ever been blinded before. I was chatting to a friend and they pointed out I might not be able to attack but I can cast spells as long as I don't need to see the target...oops!

The ground floor of the tower is now open to the air—a tangle of wooden supports above being all that remains of the building’s upper stories. Two rubble-filled pools flank a central walkway that crosses to an open area with a few shelves, a desk and chair, and a flight of stairs leading down.

The six cultists each had a masterwork chain shirt, a masterwork glaive, an unholy symbol of Baphomet, and 10 gp. Faxon the witch carried a wand of cure moderate wounds, 12 +1 bolts for his heavy crossbow, bracers of armor +1, a cloak of resistance +1, and a key.
The room downstairs appears to be a workshop. This semicircular room is empty except for a few bookshelves against the walls and a single desk and chair sit in one corner. A huge set of wood and metal double doors stands in the south wall.

This semicircular room has been outfitted with numerous demonic decorations. The green glass lanterns hanging on the walls give the room an eerie glow. A brazen minotaur head hangs from one wall above an altar covered with wavy-bladed knives and curved bulls’ horns, while star-shaped symbols in red decorate other walls. A large wooden chest sits near the west wall.

Fabian moves in behind Kazul and also looks around. He holds up his staff, speaks the words of a cantrip, and scans the room.
His face wrinkles in disgust at the decorations. He suspects that he recognizes the symbology of Baphomet.... (Does he? Take 10 on Knowedge checks for Religion with a result of 19, and Planes with a result of 21.)
Cast Detect Magic, concentrate for a few rounds in an attempt to locate magic auras. Take 10 on Knowledge (Arcana) in order to identify magic auras-- result is a 21. If there are magic items, he's not going to go touching anything until Kazul tells him if there are traps or not....
