It's been a lot of fun so far... but TOUGH... the rewards are so poor for the challenges faced, there's no downtime for crafting at all, and we are so poorly equipped for what we are facing... but it's still been fun - the players are great and our gm is doing a wonderful job of it, so it's all good... somehow we are surviving - so far... We are close to encountering the hut, but we haven't quite got to it yet.

As for modules, I've read through Hollow's Last Hope, both Crown and Revenge of the Kobold King (skimmed), Carnival of Tears, Realm of the Fellnight Queen, and Second Darkness (skimmed). Most of those reads are a while ago, and I never fell in love with Second Darkness as an AP, and know the general plotline for the Kobold King series but not the details.

I'm okay with any elements from any of those games you can incorporate.

I have downloaded the Second Darkness AP and the Kobold King modules, but have only really glanced at them so far. Most of what I've played that is by Paizo are PFS scenarios.

Okay, Zokon has claimed the other healing potion. Cyrielle, a CL3 healing potion is yours if you want it (it would have originally gone to Valeska who dropped out). Fronar would have had the other CL3 potion but he is AWOL so we will see.

The Second Darkness made the list because of a character's backstory. I own the PDF and considered getting the modules from my local game store. Soap box: Always support your local game store!!! You have no idea how may Pokemon cards I have because of that stance. Anyhow, you've got most of my list under your belt so maybe I should ask about the deep cuts, How familiar are you with the Paizo licensed era of Dungeon Magazine?

Spoiler warning: I am certain to use bits of Hollow's Last Hope, the first Kobold Crown adventure, Carnival and depending on where we go bits of Fellnight Queen. I know a far amount of you are at least familiar with where Kingmaker goes so I'm not going to worry too much about player vs. character knowledge, but this is fair warning. I probably won't get too far into individual player character's until we hit Rivers Run Red, the second book in the series, just because you are relatively isolated from most of those people out here on the frontier. I will incorporate them as we go though.

I am in a home game that is using some high-level adventures from Dragon. They are based around Vecna, though I think my GM has modified them heavily. I don't own any of them.

I love Chris Wissel's "Wingclipper's Revenge" but wasn't planning on using it.

@ Numalar: I think we'll probably stay away from Vecna, Acererak and the Whispering Tyrrant. I got a bigger lich in mind....

Hey, guys. Just some more follow-up on the supplies issue.

Re:Fronar - GGGM, assuming your approval, because Fronar is AWOL I have not bothered to replace his horse with the party funds. If he comes back we can worry about it then. Likewise, since Fronar was lukewarm about the shortsword, I have put it back on the party "pile."

#2 - Also, since Fronar is not with us, that changes around the potion situation. We have 4 healing potions in the party and currently five people in the party. Since Celyne can heal herself, we might as well give the CL3 potions to Zokon and Cyrielle, and Posh and Numalar can hold the CL1 ones. Sound Good? Remember also that you can pour a potion down the throat of an unconscious person and it will work.

#3 - nobody has spoken up about the second amulet so it is just in the party pile and can be sold when the opportunity arises.

#4 - since nobody but Zokon spoke up, I am going ahead with the party pile for provisions. Numalar has pitched in his 8 days of wandermeal. If anyone else has provisions to contribute, please note that in this thread. GGGM - let me know whenever you want me to deduct a days worth from the pile. The last two days the Levetons have been feeding us but we won't be back for dinner tonight.

Yeah, Wandermeal is pretty nice, though you need some other food once in a while.

the computer router and modem were the first things we unpacked... just had to wait til Friday to get the cable guy out to hook up our service... We're up and running now, thank goodness. :)

On another sad note, I sent out a message to Fronar saying that we will be moving on without him. I hope everything is alright, but I haven't heard anything from him in over a month. I left him note telling him to stop by just so we know the real life guy is okay and all.

So, I'm off to look for a replacement--I'm thinking probably a rogue-type of some flavor, though I'm all ears for suggestions, that and if any of you have friends or folks you can recommend that would be cool too. I also have one person left on my old list of replacements who might still want in--an elven swordsmith magus.

I'll wait a day or two (depending on how all of you respond) before moving forward. I'd like to get a few options on the table.

A rogue or ranger would be ideal... my idea is to go fighter for 4 or so soon so I'm not going to be straight up skills til after that.

Too bad... Fronar was a pretty good fit for the party.

The unchained rogue makes the standard TWF rogue a pretty solid choice. But there's no reason not to keep our options open. There are lots of ways to make a "sneaky" character.

Even if we don't get a sneaky character I am okay with that. We don't have a STR-based character and I wouldn't mind a paladin, bloodrager, combat-based warpriest, inquisitor, you name it. If Zokon is pulling away from the ranger-y stuff then maybe a ranger too.

Though... Zokon, I'm not sure what you have in mind for playing a fighter, but if its the bonus feats, slayers can use almost all of their slayer talents for feats (including the combat trick rogue talent). Meanwhile the studied target and sneak attack bonuses are easily as good as armor training and weapon training. So I'd encourage you to stick with slayer.

BTW guys I'm sorry if I haven't been posting much lately but I'm apartment hunting and that is getting me full of anxiety. Hopefully I will have settled on a new place soon and then life will go back to normal.

Hey, suit yourself. Fighter gives you heavy armor and tower shield proficiency, and a net of one bonus feat. It's not all bad. Weapon training gives you a +1 but slows the development of studied target, so it seems like it balances out, unless you were planning on getting gloves of dueling, which wouldn't grant their +2 without the fighter ability. Weapon Specialization doesn't give you as much damage as sneak attack, but it does apply all the time, so maybe it's better. But losing 4 skill ranks per level does sting a bit.

I'd like to sincerely apologize for my silence. I've been going through a lot recently between my grandfather's death and a move all the way across the country, and I can't dedicate the same time to gaming I used to. I also haven't been as inspired by Cyrielle as I thought I might be, and so I think, in the interest of being fair to you all, that I'm going to drop from this game.

I'd like to thank GGGM and everyone else for giving me an opportunity, and once again, I'm sorry. If you could mark me as inactive, I'd appreciate it.

I'm sorry to hear that you are leaving us, though I understand.

I hope everything turns out well for you though in your new digs. Don't be a afraid to drop by if you are ever in the vicinity of the Stolen Lands. I'm sure Hal would love get fencing lessons from a real duelist.
