Welcome everyone! This will be the discussion thread for you to discuss the game and get to know one another. I ask that you please be active in the game thread and try to post at least once a day when applicable. Characters who go several days without posting without a reasonable excuse will be replaced.

I would like to ask each of you to create an item wishlist for your character and place it on your profile. This helps me to strategically place loot, and make plans for future findings. Also, on each players birthday if you tell me it's your birthday, I'll give your character an item from your wishlist.

As a side note, one of my friends pointed out that I don't qualify for Power Attack yet - it has a BAB +1 requirement that I forgot about. (Shows you how often I play martial characters.) I switched it out for Improved Initiative.

Hello everyone :D It's been another long and exhausting day but not so bad as yesterday at least. The next couple of days on through the weekend will be busy for me, but come Monday things should settle down a bit. I'm sorry to get you started and then disappear on you all day, but it was unavoidable. I am home now and will be active throughout the rest of the evening. I'm going to go check out your first posts now! (I'll look over everyone's character profile more fully in the next couple of days, if I spot anything amiss, I'll let you know.)

@ Twilight: I think it will be fine, it will give us time to get to know the other characters.

@All the others: My character lived for a year with Lorrimor about 7 years ago (he was a teenager studying under the professor). Any chance he might have met your characters during this period?

BTW, there is a longer description of Ioann's appearance on the alias' page for those who are interested.

A couple of things right off:

Orin you need to alter what you have on your profile to make it so that you and the Professor actually had a longer-lasting, solid relationship.

Ake, I need your background transferred to your profile.

Everyone, please transfer all of the info including the extra stuff you wrote for me about your character at my behest to your profile so that I can reference it easier as needed. Thanks!

Actually, I'm switching it out for Martial Weapon Proficency (greatsword) so I can use the weapon that I'm carrying.

It is possible that you would have accompanied the Professor to Ravel's bedside.

The online copy of my sheet will be updated soon. (I've updated it on my end, I need to update another one of my characters in a different campaign tonight before I push it up online.)

Yes, I think that would be fitting. However, I will play Ioann as not remembering this moment. Also, in these past 7 years, Ioann has changed alot (from a bright, kind if a bit arrogant teenager, to a harsh and hardened man), so he might be hard to recognize.

Also if it helps, if you have a Windows computer, there's a program called Nitro PDF reader that has an extract images function - this will let you take the pictures of Paizo pdfs without that stupid black background. It's what I use for PFS stuff.

It's a classic. If you are a fan of Mel Brooks films, it's a must. If you are unaware of Mel Brooks' style of comedy, start there and then watch everything else he has done.

Young Frankenstein ("It's pronounced Frahn-kin-STEEN.") is a great classic. I still watch it on occasion!

Interesting group though. I've been having fun so far.

I'm glad that everyone is having fun! I know it's been a little rocky getting started, but most pbp games are. I think that we'll hit our rhythm and things will be mostly smooth sailing from there.
