Ooh, I can just see the women marching with placards and sashes, and a movement to steal goblin infants and raise them in institutions, and a political party that wants to resettle them all in some suitably remote and undesirable location and have them run their own civilization in Sierra Goblone..

I can honestly say...I have no idea.

Resurrection/raise dead at this level, even if it was a regular campaign, is pretty improbable anyway.

Yeah, I just don't know. I'm just not sure on whether or not I have the energy to come up with a whole new concept. And as simple as Casey was, I actually liked the character. There wasn't much to him, he was pretty much just there. How do you figure someone with such a lack of personality, would be so interesting to play? Weird, huh?

I'll think on it. But at this time, I really got nothing.

It's entirely up to you. If yu fancy keeping tagging along while you think about it, you could take over the role of Orik for a while. I did this in a real life game and it worked quite well. He has no real loyalty, and so can live or die without affecting the plot too much.

Yeah I've been thinking about it. I just really don't want to create an alias that I'm only gonna use for a little while. That's a lot of work for a part time pc. Plus it just adds to the alias clutter. Good idea though.

Well, Nevynxxx, I'm gonna have to drop out at this time. The reason I can't really roll with anything is because I'm just burned out. I just don't have the energy to come up with anything new.

So, at this point, seeing how it's a perfect point since my character is dead, I'm gonna take a break. I'll still be rolling in the pbp's I'm currently in, well, as long as the pc lives anyway, I just won't be taking on any new ones.

Sorry, I did miss that, but at the same time, your roll wouldn't have made him lay down his arms, that would be a sure fire way to get killed, and he isn't stupid. He did do pretty much everything else asked though, despite your intimidate conflicting with Wits' diplomacy.

As far as detect evil goes, he doesn't. He isn't Evil, the whole place detects as Evil, but nothing of any interest. (Well, not at that point anyway.)

I *will* miss some things. I'm human. If I do, just let me know. No need to let it become a problem. This is just a game after all...

2) I believe steampunk has a Victorian feel, so a studious magician wouldn't be out of place. Keeping prepared arcane casters wouldn't be uncalled for. Or, just because we can't be prepared spellcasters doesn't mean one-off villains can't be.
3) Would turning the five foot squares into ten foot squares help? My tactics for Adonai are specifically tied to not wanting the party in a straight line in that hallway.

Some of you will have email, I've updated The Encounters sheet on Obsidian Portal.

You will probably see that the XP doesn't add up, I've put the proper XP in the column, but since some of these last encounters have been very taxing, I've bumped you up a bit conveniently to 6,000XP and 4th level.

There's also a list of treasure you've found. You probably want to sell, and organise some of it when you get to Sandpoint.

But overall, well done! Some of those encounters got scarily close with all the panic, but you've come through it well.


4th lvl changes:

Based on our lineup and abilities you're really the only person who'd use it, other than maybe Mr Hyde.

As a Crossbow shooter/finesse fighter the only weapons I would really use are the masterwork handaxe and the silver dagger

Don't worry about the size on the armour, it's the right size for whoever needs it.

We'll call the longbow a +2 str version....

In that case I can definitely make use of the leather armor if no one lese needs it.


I have issue with Reynard taking the armor. May I have the cloak of resistance?


Mind if I grab the longbow to use?. I'll throw in to the pot 4 chakrums as well for a whopping 2 gp added to the loot total.


Jerjia is already carrying the wand of shocking grasp. Doesn't look like anyone else can use the scroll of burning hands?

I should mention that you are probably a bit behind on Wealth by level. I've been dropping some of the stuff from treasure that doesn't really fit, to some extent, and haven't really been able to add the correct stuff back in.

If someone could work out roughly where you are at, I'll get you to where you should be.

Also, if there is anything you are aiming at acquiring for you character, let me know.
