Yes to this.

You know, I'm tempted to keep that human-bane one instead. Reason being, I'd feel like it's out there to be bought and the next thing you know evil bad guy dude goes and buys it and kills innocent humans with it.

I think I'll take it. There's bound to be bad guy humans out there. Obviously, I'd rather have a giant bane one but that'll be for another time.

Sell the plain +1's and I'll take the human bane.

And if no one claims those Cure Serious potions, I'll take 'em. And that's just because no one else will. ONE of us has to take 'em.

To sell: (2) +1 Hide Armors; (2) +1 Ogre Hooks.
The armor would be 165 gp for full price each (15 + 150 MW) and 1,000 for enhancement, so 1,165 GP each.
Hooks are 174 gp for each (24 + 150 MW) and 2,000 for enhancement, so 2,174 GP for each.

This assumes full price on sale, so let me if this works, OGGM. Don't want to add to your GM burdens.


Resale is typically 50% of face value, so go with that.

OK; thanks! So (Armors) total 1165gp + (Hooks) total 2174 gp = 3,339 gp in group money. I guess we can see what purchases we need when get back to Turtleback Ferry from there.

I'm gonna have to step up and get some item creation feats, huh? ^_^ Not only will it become possible to acquire stuff we really need, but we could also make a tidy profit if we ever have time to stay anywhere and let me craft some merchandise.

Epic, absolutely epic the battle for the fort, really enjoyed reading it and seeing you guys kick butt.

I'm hoping that come September life will be a little more sorted. All the building work at home is complete. We have a garden not a building site and only a couple of things to get sorted.

August 6th for about 10 days I'm on vacation, including my annual helping out at a music festival. Then August 28/9/30th or roundabout then, I will be away watching MotoGP (world motorbike race series) at Silverstone. So nothing planned once September comes around.

I'm thinking if Rhianni can jump in again now and the gaps above are OK, I'll get back into this. Just let me know.

Oh heck yeah it was a blast. I'll never forget the grease. Man that was so freaking funny. This big, huge, epic battle and you've got our heroes slipping and sliding and simply trying to keep their feet.

What's even funnier is the fact that WE were the ones who cast the spell!

Dimensional Agility is cool, I gotta say. And the Reach spell sounds cool too.

I like one of those two over Vital Strike. Mainly because it just strikes me as more of a fighter type feat.

This encounter reminded me that Tomaru is a summoner. I chose Summon Good Monster, which increases my summoning options and gives certain creatures I summon the Diehard feat.

Current considerations are:
1st level ... Silent Image, Touch of the Sea.
2nd level ... Resist Energy or Summon Swarm, liking the swarm.
3rd level ... Displacement, Dispel Magic, Fly, Gaseous Form ...

but you may know better, 1 spell for each slot.

You know, I'm thinking we're in a pickle, folks. This is an odd encounter Paizo threw in here at this time. Typically, a gargantuan creature is around CR 17, 18 and higher(at least in my opinion). I can't imagine ANY gargantuan creature being around our level at all. Of course, I don't know all the creatures by heart so I guess there could be a big, massive CR 9, 10 or even an 11 or 12 creature out there. *Shrugs*

But I don't think we stand a chance against this thing. In my meta-gamey opinion, if it's not here to just outright kill us(which would be weird because that would be too easy and anti-climatic) then maybe it's here for a certain purpose and then it moves on.

But even I'm not sold on that because this creature doesn't strike me as a creature that goes around "thinking" about its actions.

Heck, I don't know. One way or another, I guess will soon see.

All I know is, I hate monsters with Spell Resistance. =_=
This probably has something to do with the fact that I prefer playing casters.

I agree, I think we need to look at doing the rescue, rather than fight to kill, we don't seem to be able to hit it, the spell resistance is making it really difficult to do anything against it.

Plus it's description if true being a legend trapped in the mountain, makes it something we should have a go at when we get to a high level.

When a quite moment presents itself away from others, Kellen will try and get Rhianni's attention. He hands her a sample cameo clasp attached to a cord and starts to speak:

"I ain't much for sentimentality; never had that luxury growing up in Riddleport. But I was hoping you could hold on to this for me. It's all I got of family."

(The cameo opens up to show a painted portrait of a man and woman done in formal clothes. The man has Kellen's coal black hair, but the woman's eyes and nose more resemble his own. The picture and cameo have held up well and may be slightly magical to resist the wear and tear.)

"Lately, I been nearly killed or captured so much, I've been thinking I need to put affairs in order. I ain't afraid of dying and I'm used to the risk. But I'd rather not be just another merc lying in a shallow grave or propped on some ogre's hook that nobody remembers." He pauses and then gives her an intense stare from his grey eyes.

"You Varisian's...you're storytellers that much I know. If'n I don't make it out of these mountains...just tell my tale if you please? Nothing fancy and no obligation, mind you. It's as close as I'll get to doing something important, I think." He shrugs then; giving a mild smirk, and looks for answer from her.

I used my cures and channel energies narratively. Its up to OOGM if you got any of them.
In the morning, Tomaru can take care of your wisdom damage.

Does ability damage heal any at all overnight?


Usually under a resting situation, I assume that any healing (channels and the like) are used up to 'top off' the PCs because they will refresh the next day. So yes, you would have been healed the night before you set out.

Ability damage heals naturally.

ability damage does heal naturally, but not fast. That's why they make Lesser Restoration.
