What can I say? I pray to the RNG, and (sometimes) it answers, lol.
Also, just a heads up, I'll be pretty busy the next few days. I've got finals tomorrow night and Friday morning, then travelling home Friday evening. And somewhere in between studying and taking tests, packing. I'll keep posting, but will probably slow down a bit.

Hey no need to apologize, Tassidar has no idea who these guys really are or what happened back at the town. He is just trying to get a dialog and negotiation going. He actually took Knute's lead in firing. The rest was to disquise why there were only three arrows.
To bad you didn't hit or crit, that would have been bad ass. We drop them and retrieve Thrmyr in a daring rescue.

Not that Thrymr or Gifr have much to do... but just a quick note that I'll be on tour this weekend down to Singapore for an under 7s rugby tournament... so it should be a hoot. Downside is that it might curtail my general propensity for verbiage and long windedness... though I should still be online of occasion.

Sorry for the delay all, and thanks for keeping it moving. Travel took more out of me than expected (flight was delayed four hours...), and yesterday was busy too. I'll be better about posting now.

For GM Dien Reference:
So Gifr is at -3/19 HP and Thrymr is at 10/21 HP (18 non-lethal)
If they are not being 'aided' to recover:
Gifr will get a DC 10 Con check after 8 hours to see if he will start to recover HP.
Thrymr's non-lethal damage will reduce by 2 HP per hour, so he'll come to in 5 hours.
If they are being 'aided':
Gifr will get the DC 10 Con check in 1 hour, to see if he become conscious (though still with negative HP).
Thrymr will still take 5 hours to come to, unless some kind of healing is offered.
Bleh, today wound up with non-stop busy due to family stuff, and I'm just now tagging to things and ran out of steam. Sorry, guys. First thing once I wake, I'll throw up the posts. *goes to sleep*

Eh, without seeing the bonuses and maluses, I'm not sure if rapid shot would make it so nothing hits. Figured I'd send one test shot first before going all out.

Though this is a good chance to go over my spoiler policy! Namely: don't read spoilers not addressed to you. :P And if you absolutely, positively have to (I understand the urge, I've been there myself), then please make sure you're not referencing, either IC or OOCly, anything you happened to read.

Tassidar is ready to move on. I don't think there is an amazing plan available for our current situation. The current policy of hold out and survive until the warband arrives is the best option. We can't outrun wolves and we will kill a few orcs if they try climbing our little hamburger hill.
Well, with a fabulous sense of timing, I broke my laptop, and it'd be a minimum of $200 to get it repaired. Having dumped Wis, I'm going to attempt a fan replacement myself, but this is likely to take me several days while I get the new fan and fumble my way through disassembling a laptop using nothing but the user manual and my own pig-headedness. I can still check the boards via my phone, but writing actual posts on my phone is about as enjoyable as nailing my toes to plywood, so.....
Essentially, we're on a hiatus at least from GM input. This is rotten timing, but I really can't GM from my phone and I don't have another computer I can reliably use. Sorry, I'll try and be back quickly.
I've never successfully been able to make Wayfinder work for me. Can't seem to get past login, so I gave up on it a while ago.
Even with it, though, I really don't want to do the sort of gming I do from my phone. I can't access my notes, my stats for my npcs and my villains, my maps... and I don't want to try to write 5-10 paragraph posts on a 3 inch screen. Meh.
My fan is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I have the day free to attempt repair. If that fails, I'm just buying a new laptop Sunday and transferring files (I at least backed up before I did the thing that broke my fan).
So, worst case, I should be back in ggear by Monday, but yeah.
