Cold fingers grab your mind and you freeze for an instant. Icy voice rings in your head. "Your body is mine!" but your will proves stronger than the assault. Your fiery rage proves to be mightier that the ancient shadowy evil that is trying to steel your body. With all your might you push that presence away and regain control over your body...
Sorry, I was away from a computer all day again. I haven't done anything in the third round yet so am I still able to attack the demon before he attempts to take off. Also, with both Anang and Kiron attacking the demon is he flanked by any chance?
Anyway, AoO 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
1d6 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
As the oruk sprouts shadowy pinions Anang realises it intends to flee and slashes wildly at it as it leaps into the air.
...as Ragnar pushes his hand forward and mutters arcane words under his breath. Red energy crackles around his hand and then jumps to Muni, and to the Oruk.
Ragnar casts Healing Sting through Muni's Deliver Touch Spells ability.
Damage1d12 ⇒ 2
Sigh. Oh well. Even if it hit, it probably didn't do enough to finish the job. Sad. Are those damn shadow bears still there?

Sorok's axe having a throwing range is based on the fact that clouded weapons add 10' to the base range of a weapon. Normally battleaxes have none, but I figured it wasn't a stretch to have a custom made, well-balanced axe be able to be thrown if necessary. I doubt he'd ever actually do it, but it's a cool touch.
A cool touch that might come in handy.
Upon seeing the demon take flight, Sorok turns Umbra to the hammer side and hurls it with as much might as he could.

Sweet good throw and max damage with my hammer/axe. I really hope that actually hits.

Kiron swings his howling blade at the demon trying to get the biggest chunk of the beast he can. he finally takes am moment to shoot a glance at ragnar. I would have attacked him if I had access to him as it was, I attacked what I could reach until I could get to him.
the extra +3 on the second should have been a plus two and is due to my killer trait.so 20 damage total

You do realize that there are four bears on the ground - one in front of you - and that you have thrown away your primary weapon?

When did you summoned familiars? You haven't meditated and we haven't roleplayed Hugi's return to you, right? Anyway, Muni missed.

Your arrow misses the demon and flies away in the forest. You try to memorize its path in order to retrieve it later...
Oruk's body is in tatters. Pieces fall of it while it flies on demon's wings. Ragnar seems to be shaken by something and he watches fleeing demon strangely. This battle obviously haven't gone as planed for a shadow demon. It was overconfident, perhaps. But still. he has left four shadowy bears for you to fight...
Nightflier, I'm a little lost on turns and initiative.
If I summarize:
Turn 1: the demon summons 3 bears
everyone attacks the demon or the bears at distance
end of the turn, the bears do not attack as no one is in reach
Turn 2: the demon sends a lighting bolt in Ilona and Kiron
two bears are taken down be the group
Ilona is healed by Gilian
the third bear mauls Sorok
Turn 3: the demon summons more bears
people attack the demon
Ragnar summons skeletons
Sorok is healed by Gilian
the bears maul the skeletons
Turn 4: the demon takes flight
Ilona, Kiron and Anang have an AoO
Ragnar, Solvi and Sorok use ranged attack on the beast
The bears attack.
In turn 4 neither Gilian, nor Ilona, Kiron and Sorok have acted. They just used their AoO. I was waiting for the demon fate regarding the AoO before acting.
So for the round 4 and before the bear attack, Gilian uses the last of her bone healing power to heal Sorok of 7 HP.

You have summarized excellently what happens. I am now attacking with the bears because I don't know how much time will I have later today, but PC actions happen before the attacks. Also, Ragnar's ranged attack effectively did not happen, because he hasn't been through the ritual of familiar summoning, so he can act as well.
With their master away, bears seem somehow less substantial than before.
Ilona, Kiron, Sorok and Ragnar may act. Their actions take place before bear attacks. Just to remind you, you may use fate points to prevent an attack that brings you bellow 0 hp.
The bear attacks you with wild rage, only to bounce back from the invisible barrier around you. Attacks on you do not count.
Whew. I'da been real, real dead.
Also, I don't know what modifications to Bears you're using, but if they came within 10 feet of me they need to make Will saves unless they're immune to Fear.

They are not exactly real bears. They just have bear shape.
Ragnar moves to Gilian's side, purposefully baiting the shadow-bears to attack him and lays a hand on her. More red energy courses over him, briefly illuminating in Dornish runes before fading.
The spear which had been dropped by the destroyed skeleton drifts to Sorok's hands, arming him again.
If I'm understanding this right, casting Protection From Evil on myself was my alternate action from the last round to replace the spell cast through Muni (since I can't do that yet). That means this is for the next round's action, so now I'm right with everyone else again.
Ragnar tries to provoke AoO's from the bears, getting them to waste them this round since they can't hurt him. Protection From Evil to Gilian. Free action Mage Hand brings the spear to Sorok.

With a mighty strike, Kiron cleaves the bear in half. Creature for a moment just stands seemingly surprised, and then just vanishes in a cloud of shadows.
I got a bit confused on rounds as well. Don't think I actually acted in round 3 even though the demon was right in front of me. Anyhow.
Anang hissed through his teeth in pain as the shadowy bear claw rakes his arm. Leaping at it he brings both his blades round in slicing arcs at the viciously clawed shadow.
You think that you can manage to find your arrow lost in the woods.

500 Xp everybody. I thought that this will be much more challenging for you.
I thought it was pretty challenging. In related news, I am entirely sick of giant bear-monsters..."
Yeah, well, this is kind of a theme for Dorzar and his renegade power source. I did throw in a shadow cat, as I recall. I could always repeat that performance. :)
While you stand at the clearing before the dolmen, panting and fighting for breath, you realize that you did not fought the demon alone. In front of you stands black-skinned and white-haired strange looking elf with strange weapons in his hands.
I got pretty damn lucky really, two criticals in one combat. Don't think thats ever happened to me. 18-20 critical ranges do help though.
Kinda looking forward to improved critical if I survive long enough to take it.
