Rom the Unchained is a damage sponge, he's got 26-28 Hit points at Level 1, problem is he doesn't have power attack yet, so he doesn't do a ton of damage.
He hates slavers, I mean hates them, and fitting, he has a special hatred for the Blakros family as his first Society Mission was the Penumbral Accords.

... I'm waiting to see if she will return.Otherwise the group will miss out on a pure arcane type user, hoping another sorcerer, wizard, witch or summoner will apply. You do have someone who can use arcane magic, in your Magus. If no arcane turns up, I'll invite the reserve a fighter to join the party.
You also have a ranger Lyriel who I hope will sign in soon too.
Just advance warning ... I'm off to hospital for an operation Weds 22nd and should be out Thursday 23rd. As I'll be recovering at home for the next week or so, I hope that I'll have plenty of time to keep the games going. That's the plan, but you never know.

They really do need to implement a better way to track your ongoing posts/PbP games other than having to check each character for their post history. I spend more time switching around to check my posts than anything else.
The RSS doesn't seem to be all the useful either.
Well for now I'm making dedicated tabs for windows I'm watching, thanks to 'too many tabs' I can save all the ones related to a particular game together. Still it's a lot of overhead.
I am sorry if I delayed the start of the game.

The way I keep track of what's going on is to use book marks for the campaign, then once you get there you can see if any new posts are available.

So first of all a big welcome to you all, especially those of you who are either playing Pathfinder for the first time, or playing a Society scenario for the first time. For those who are a bit more experienced, please help where appropriate, the idea is to make this game fun for all and try and kill you ...
Use this thread for anything out of the game thread (story line) that is not in character, and to keep people abreast of times you might not be available.
I always start out with the intention of moving on daily, so I will try and post daily. Sometimes we will have to wait for others to post, in which case I will post something which doesn't really move us on, that's OK, I'm waiting for someone to post. However, I will only leave 48hrs for posting, before I may either make a post with your actions or leave you with no actions, this is particularly so during combat. I hope you will be able to post daily. If you have nothing to do, please post either in the game thread or a comment to say you stopped by in the discussion thread, it helps.
Sometimes your DM will just feel things are getting on top of him and will not post as he should, I am definitely not perfect, so please if you need any help from me or other players, just ask. I only bite your characters heads off (with a good roll and lots of damage) not yours.
So here's to enjoying a fun game.

mmm if I could edit my intro post I would add a few more humorous tidbits regarding the goblin&twig portion of my post. Oh well...

Slyph was likely about as battle-ready as a goblin with a twig thrown into a dungeon full of hungry wolverines. Now we're not talking about just normal wolverines, no we're talking about huge Dire Wolverines, Hungry Dire GOBLIN Eating Wolverines; The worst kind! And after being chased to a corner not even throwing the twig would get enough of their attention or do enough damage to prevent horrible madness that would follow. And if that wasn't bad enough, he would have been no better off even if they doubled his equipment and gave him two twigs!
Yeah that's about as battle-ready as Slyph was.
He would be far more useful as support ... (See original for remainder of post)

hi Grimage,
Is your character sheet wrong? because it shows +7 diplomacy, which I take as +3 charisma, +1 rank, +3 trained class skill bonus. then you get +1 for trait Well Informed.
To be honest, this trait doesn't offer you as much as it could, because Bards get Diplomacy and all Knowledge checks as Class Skills, if they take a rank in that skill.
If you want to change this later after the adventure you can, or if you want to do it now just let me now.

Apologies for being away for a while, had an operation and took a week or so off the boards as part of the recovery period. Really helped get a bit more relaxed and ready to start again.
At a CrispyCon Chew June 7-9th, so nothing from me then either.
Then stewarding at a music festival 'Blues on the Farm' 20th-23rd June, so unlikely to be posting then either.
Will get you going again this week.

I'm afraid Al Suresh has had to retire from this game. When we started the game he was a level 2 character, but by playing outside this game his character has reached level 4. After the current combat Al Suresh would have turned on the rest of you (the curse of the mist) and in all probability have killed you all. So to enable you all to continue, Al Suresh and I came to the conclusion that he would leave the game.
There are now only 4 characters which makes this a very difficult proposition for you. Please let me know if you wish to continue, wish to recruit another 1 or 2 players and then continue or stop the game?
