Right so while everyone finalizes their characters and gets everything squared away let me lay down some ground rules.
1.Minimal metagaming: It happens and I don't particularly mind it so much. But blatant metagaming won't be tolerated.
2. I fill in gaps.: There's a good reason why you don't remember your backhistory. It's far from uninteresting. But let's jsut say if you had a particular story your character thought he had. Think again.
3. How combat works.: Essentially I roll everyones initiative and take the average of those rolls as the groups initiative. Same as the badguys. Initiative for the group itself is done in order of posting. If there have been a bunch of posts and you have not posted for 24 hours since the last actions than you'll get NPCed for that action so we can get through the combats quickly. I'll use a battlemap with X/Y coordinates to make things simpler on you.
4. Ask questions: If you need to know something; ask. preferrably with some kind of roll attached. That way I don't have to ask for them. Sometimes I'll roll knowledge checks ahead of time so I can give ou that knowledge beforehand to save time. But not often.
5. Posting: Let me know ahead of time if you can't post for a day or two for some reason. One psot a day is the minimum I ask, If you disappear for three or four days without notice expect to be replaced and not let back in until someoen drops again.

TarkXT,
A question :
Do the characters remember what is written at top of the Recruitment thread (about suffocation, membranous substance, clawed hands, being thrown overboard), or only what is written at top of the Gameplay thread ("you can't remember much of anything") ?
I assumed the later (and will assume it until you tell us otherwise).
If I am wrong it's easy to fix: Drett can just "remember" the suffocation, and clawed hands part later when he will get time to think.
It would be more difficult to do it the other way (Drett talk with the others about the clawed hands and everybody has later to "forget" what he said).

That actually reminds me of something. Do I know who my eidolon is and how to summon her? I presumably know how to use the SLA to summon monsters and cast spells but how about her?
Also if summoned does she know anything about herself or her link to me?
Yes, Yes, and No.

Just saw your spoiler to me on the recruit post. I was wandering the same thing. I mainly picked Erastil because of the bow and the rural background. If i could keep the bow proficiency i guess any of the gods from this setting should be alright.
My problem is that I dont know them. I am in NYC this week and have been trying to purchase the campaign setting book but nobody seems to know about it. I am not a big fan of buying stuff on the internet...
Is there a site with the lore of this world online?
I have been thinking about maybe going to the opposite direction with Emil's character development. He would never discover which god gives him his powers, he would search for it but never would be 100% sure. It would be at the same time a driving force in his personality and an eternal reason for self-doubt. For that to work I would pick up the heretic archetype. Do you think this could work for the campaign?

You will not find the book in any stores. Mainly because like most 3pp the publisher can't get them on shelves. You can buy print copies over Paizo or RPGnow. As far as lore? None that I can think of I think someone posted a wiki for it on the recruitment thread so I'd check there.
Judging by your alignment and viewpoint on life I'm going to say you likely follow this "god"
Koliav
The Keeper of the Icy Gates, LN(E), The underworld,
the dead and the forgotten
Domain death, knowledge, trickery
Favored Weapon Heavy pick
Symbol A black book
Dress Color Black
Depicted as a bent, cloaked man made of black ice.
Feared by many because of his role as the keeper of the
icy gates where he watches over the dead. More heretic
cults claim to follow Koliav than any other Venerate.
Koliav’s clergy has a strong leaning towards lawful evil
because of their unwavering dedication to the destruction
of heretics.
Basically he's the guy who dumps souls into hell. Now as an Inquisitor you already have proficiency in the Longbow so any idea about losing it if you get away from that is simply untrue.
One thing else to note is that members of the Sanguine Covenant don't worship the Sanguine Lord directly. Generally they worship the venerates which are his closest servants.
So to your other option. I think that concept works only for Oracles. For an inquisitor he has to be strong in his convictions otherwise he wouldn't be an inquisitor no? Even a heretic has strong convictions they are just strong in a direction that's taboo to the greater dogma.

I apologize if the pacing of the game seems slow (in terms of story not posting) I wanted these early parts to serve as a good foundation to let the characters get to know one another and get a clear understanding of their situation there will be more action and traditional adventuring eventually I promise.

Ball's in your court guys.
Just letting everyone know that I've opened recruitment for a skull and shackles game for anyone interested.

You know I think the post monster ate my previous post because I had an answer to taht very question. Let me summarize.
Day goes on you get tired. Priest lets you help but does seem a touch agitated by it. It's mid afternoon when you finish and most everyone has left leaving you and vladimir on the beach.
Apologies for that. Here I was thinking that it was jsut very slow.

Hi.
I have a question about the lore of Koliav? I am not sure what is his role in the Sanguine Convent's faith. Making an analogy, is he:
Like the cristian satan, fallen angel, corruptor of mankind, father of all evils.
Like the Golarion's Asmodeus, keeper of contracts, ruler of hell, godfather of tyranny.
Or like the greek god Hades, not evil but neither good. The ruler and guardian of the underword.
Are the Icy Gates the place where all the souls go after death (like the greek underworld) or just the evil ones (like hell)?
Though so, thanks.

I have a metagame question.
Hey Aliwah, since we lost our other bard, and we are really in the beginning of the adventure, are you going to stay as a street performer or go vanilla as you originally planned?
I am sorry for breaking your rule number one Tark and I admit my reasons for asking are selfIsh, I just love inspire courage. But I though there were not big harm in doing it. If I am coming of as pushy or offenive I do apolygise.
