I prefer to call it a sabbatical.

Oloooo :)

You never asked over here if we wanted to continue ... although considering we're well on the way to a 3/4 TPK, I suppose that's a more difficult kickstart.

Yeah, I wanted to get Serpent's Skull up and running first and then determine whether people wanted to continue both. Nazard is the only person in this group who isn't in Serpent's Skull as well and he's mentioned to me he's content with whatever happens.

This one will be the more difficult to jumpstart, that's true.

I like Tippi.

Although it could be that I just enjoy low-level play more than higher levels. The game feels more flexible then.

This game will be harder to get going again because we were in the middle of an extended combat, one that wasn't going particularly well for the PCs. Many of us may well have forgotten a lot of the specific details, and more importantly, what we intended to do next, making it difficult to just jump back in. Also, I'd hate to restart and then have everyone die three posts later.

So, it seems to me that we should probably "fast forward" to the end of the combat and simply agree on a resolution that makes sense. However, I am certainly open to suggestions, so suggest away...

Grand Lodge

Yeah. Both Festa and Jacinth are done for. Tippi is gone and Felos might be able to get away too.
Unless Rowyn has pity on us, at least two of us are making new characters.

AC 12 (12 touch, 10 FF); CMD 11; Init +2; Perc +0, Sense Motive +2; Scent; F/R/W: +1/+2/+2; Max HP: 7; Current HP 3;

Felos would never abandon them, so three new characters.

We all wake up in our beds at Stately Vanderboren Manor to find Bobby Ewing in the shower?

So be it! ;)

Grand Lodge

That is an old reference.

It is old, true. But there has never been another "it was all a dream" scenario that has matched the audacity of that one.

At least they only wrote off one season. Newhart and Roseanne each wrote off their entire series with "It was all a dream (or novel)".

True, but with Newhart at least, it was a gag at the very end of the series. They didn't attempt to continue with the series after it. I will admit I never watched or paid attention to Roseanne, so I don't really know what happened there. :)

Same as Newhart. In the last episode, everything that happened was a novel she had written.
