Without being sure I believe that your magic item, does not change the feat.

M Humanborn

where is the guided property? can you link it?

M Humanborn

nevermind. found it, and it had this to say:

"This modifier to damage is not adjusted for two-handed weapons or off-hand weapons—it always remains equal to the wielder’s Wisdom modifier. A guided weapon may be wielded as a normal weapon, using Strength to modify attack and damage rolls, but this goes against the weapon’s nature and imparts a –2 penalty on all attack rolls made in this manner."

Female Elf Paladin 17/Guardian 8

A weapon with the guided property allows its wielder to use his instinct when striking blows with it. Attacks from a guided weapon generally don’t strike hard, but they strike at precisely the right moment to maximize damage if in the hands of a particularly wise wielder. A character who attacks with a guided weapon modifies his attack rolls and weapon damage rolls with his Wisdom modifier, not his Strength modifier.

This modifier to damage is not adjusted for two-handed weapons or off-hand weapons—it always remains equal to the wielder’s Wisdom modifier. Dragon Style applies to Strength. Your WISDOM would not give you higher damage with the style.

Male Human Monk 6/Lore Warden 4/ Brother of the Seal 7

yeah, thats what I kind of figured, but there's no harm in asking.

M Humanborn

yeah STR mod +3 and WIS mod +12, your dragon style bonus isnt gonna outshine +12 dmg

Male Human Monk 6/Lore Warden 4/ Brother of the Seal 7

true, it wouldn't, but I thought it would be pretty funny to be able to use a doubled wisdom on damage. Though it should be interesting as it negates difficult terrain as well.

Charge over difficult terrain with the acrobatic charge, grapple the punk, then spend the mythic point to take another turn and pin and tie him up. (to get out he would have to break out of a DC 62. (not the best way to spend time on kobolds, but worthwhile on High CR wizards)

M Humanborn

yeah. Bariel threatens a crit on 15-20 and auto confirms all crits vs all foes (except oozes and such, but i'll leave those to the archmage), and the crits are max dmg. unfortunately, the 9d6 sneak attack isnt multiplied but thats still a lot of damage per hit that crits 30% of the time.

Male Human Cleric 17 / Hierophant Tier 8

"Let's do this! My beer is getting warm!" Looking at the frost & snow-covered landscape again, Americo downs his tankard, then creates water before enhancing water to turn it into warm-ish ale.

"See?"

Game play thread is finally up. Thank you all for your wonderful amount of patience.

HP 11, AC 15, T 12, FF 13, CMD 12, F +3, R +2, W +3, Init +2, Per +2

I thought my +33 to knowledge was over the top, but I see it's nothing.

RETIRED HP: 105/178; AC 31*; F:+15; R:+22; W:+10; Init +12, Perception +25, Stealth +43* Ninja 15 / Mythic Champion Trickster Tier 5

i felt good about my +24s... hahaha

oh well at least i still have my +51 to stealth

Female Elf Paladin 17/Guardian 8

Eámanë is not nearly as skilled. Then again, I need to finish her stats. I meant to input her in HeroLab.

2 + INT Modifier/level is a very small number of skills.

Male Human Cleric 17 / Hierophant Tier 8

Oh not to worry, Eamane, when the fur begins to fly, everyone will be more than pleased with your non-skill-contributions!

Female Elf Paladin 17/Guardian 8

1d8 + 8 + 1d6 Flaming + 2d6 Holy + 17 Smites with a +36 bonus on the first attack! Plus the cool Mythic abilities like... Ignoring damage or absorbing arrows or protecting allies.

Male Human Cleric 17 / Hierophant Tier 8

Guardian paladins remind me of These Guys!

Male Human Monk 6/Lore Warden 4/ Brother of the Seal 7

I feel bad for anything with less than a 29 AC it'll pretty much be dead in one round.

Male Human Cleric 17 / Hierophant Tier 8

Don't feel bad.

Also remember, there's likely to be bunches and bunches of baddies for us to smoosh.

Also traps, environmental effects, and overall "you can't be here" setups abound.

Male Human Monk 6/Lore Warden 4/ Brother of the Seal 7

lolz I only fee bad because it means its an automatic hit to take it out. And as for traps, I'm not super worried, I have an overpowered perception and have the rogue trappfinding abilities.

Female Elf Paladin 17/Guardian 8

I like the idea of playing Eámanë as an older, no-nonsense elf. The womanizing does go over well with her.

RETIRED HP: 105/178; AC 31*; F:+15; R:+22; W:+10; Init +12, Perception +25, Stealth +43* Ninja 15 / Mythic Champion Trickster Tier 5

does?

Male Human Bard 17/Marshal 8

Brandr's just being friendly :(

Idly play a few notes of a song that could earn me citywide attention -> irritable plucking. Hard to please! And I have a feeling jokes wouldn't go over well after that... darn. lol

Female Elf Paladin 17/Guardian 8

doesn't*

Male Human Bard 17/Marshal 8

I'm thinking that the paladin, cleric of the god of freedom and the follower of Shelyn might have something to say about giving a demon lord's artifact to a dictator-queen.

We'll see if Brandr's hubris TPKs us when this guy turns out to be Queen Elvanna under disguise self.

HP 11, AC 15, T 12, FF 13, CMD 12, F +3, R +2, W +3, Init +2, Per +2

I agree I think I should get it instead, I would a better witch to rule this land. :D

Female Elf Paladin 17/Guardian 8

I want to cast detect Evil...

Male Human Bard 17/Marshal 8

Remember that if I'm sending a secret message to you, you get it automatically. Other people can make sense motive to try to intercept it.

So, each message reaches the person who I'm targeting it at-- it's in the spoiler-- and to intercept the others, sense motive's needed. That's important for the hooded guy. I don't think Sorin thinks Brandr loves the queen after he winks and nudges and tell him she's an insane, despotic tyrant, for example.

Sending you a secret message so well that you can't get it is like knowing what a monster is so completely that I forget it or stealthing so perfectly that I'm seen. :P

HP 11, AC 15, T 12, FF 13, CMD 12, F +3, R +2, W +3, Init +2, Per +2

Well that helps a bit, though the other way was more fun.

Definitely more amusing. I love Big Brother. >>;

Male Human Bard 17/Marshal 8

Looks likely I'm going to have to legend lore people on the way to the Veil... assuming we don't just up and try to blind-teleport ourselves there.

Male Human Cleric 17 / Hierophant Tier 8

Greater Teleport or Wind Walk are both available.

As is Find the Path.

A reliable description of the place is the only thing then that keeps us from blowing a flute and swapping worlds. Otherwise we can just fly there. Darn!

Male Human Cleric 17 / Hierophant Tier 8

Yeah travel clerics are the bomb diggity!

Lol I love how travel is so simple at these levels.

Male Human Bard 17/Marshal 8

Anybody home? :(

Male Human Monk 6/Lore Warden 4/ Brother of the Seal 7

yeah, its been awfully quiet hasn't it

M Humanborn

Male Human Cleric 17 / Hierophant Tier 8
