Razmir the man known as the living god is making his move expanding into neighboring nations. It seems nobody can stop him as his power truly seems to be that of a god. A select few know the secret of his power and are taking steps to end his rule with the help of another who wields the same power as Razmir. Sazed Khaim a member of the old order of the keepers.

Houserules:

Houserules:

Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.

Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.
Rolls that will be handled by the GM:
Perception
Sense Motive.

if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.

Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.

Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...

Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: Everyone have fun.

Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).

Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."

Bleyz seriously considers his options on whether or not to make some purchases of items for the trip. He opts to make one purchase and heads out to do so, then readies his belongings for the trip after sharing a meal with his companions. Finally, he settles in for an early night's sleep.

When Achren turns up for the ship, he has changed. His chain form has grown massive and his huge bulk sets the ship rocking as he alights on the deck. Luckily, he has no need to go belowdecks as he would have to squeeze through the passages, and he finds a quiet corner on deck where he can sit out the journey.

An elf is waiting at the docks and upon seeing Achren approaches the group. He has an ornate Scimitar belted to his waist and he seems to be wearing standard rakish traveller gear. A large hat with a feather a capelet over his shoulders, knee high leather travel boots and a loose white shirt and surcotte. There is an unmistakable gleam of armour from underneath the surcoat, he seems to be cattying very little else.

Happily I am on your side, I have taken the liberty of booking several rooms in an in that will allow for discretion, now we should go so we can share information. Lyaro.. Lyaro escorts you to the inn and when you are in a discreet room together (after having thoroughly checked it and placed whatever defences you wish), he then tells you the information he has uncovered in the course of his investigations.

"The victim, Faldus Anvanory, is a minor Taldan noble and merchant of some means, come to Lamasara several years ago in search of eternal youth, like all the others, unlike most, however, he managed to find it. He was invited to the most recent auction by Queen Zamere herself, and when the bids were tallied, he found that he’d won a single dose of the sun orchid elixir.

Yet before the elixir could be delivered, Anvanory’s brutalized corpse was found alone in his study. Not entirely surprising—these things happen, and the prospect of potentially eternal life tends to anger one’s enemies. As it happens, Anvanory foresaw that possibility as well, and had already made arrangements with the church in case of just such an occurrence. It wasn't until they tried to resurrect him that the mystery revealed itself in earnest.

It was around this time that the family was contacted by the assassins—or rather, the kidnappers. The scroll appeared on the doorstep of their estate, possibly delivered by magic. The offer is simple: Hand over the sun orchid elixir, and the kidnappers will release Faldus’s soul once more, allowing him to be resurrected. Fail to do so, and the Taldan lord will be denied eternity, both in this world and the next."

Lyaro then takes a long drink of his wine and sits back to see how you all take in the news.

"Sinister, yes. Simple, no," Devyhn replies. "One of The Gray Lady's heralds visited me during my morning prayers. This theft took place from the Boneyard itself. It is, in fact, the scene of the crime. We will have to travel there to find the thieves' trail. I was presented with this."

He pauses to retrieve an piece of obsidian carved into a spiral from his belt pouch.

"I have been told that it will grant us the ability to travel between the realms beyond. Although, it appears to be a less than foolproof means. It will be dangerous."


That's no necessarily your first stop but it is an option
