Razmir the man known as the living god is making his move expanding into neighboring nations. It seems nobody can stop him as his power truly seems to be that of a god. A select few know the secret of his power and are taking steps to end his rule with the help of another who wields the same power as Razmir. Sazed Khaim a member of the old order of the keepers.

Houserules:

Houserules:

Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.

Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.

Sense Motive.

if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.

Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.

Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...

Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: Everyone have fun.

Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).

Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."

His wings pumping, Achren flies through the air, one of his claws reaching for the cultist.

The cultist leader easily avoids the claw.

The cultist all move up to close the distance they are wielding scimitars and shields. One takes a swing at Dusan who avoids the blow.

Mostly just double moves. Arkon tried to bite one (aoo)and missed

A creature appears behind Arkon appearing out of nowhere. This emaciated figure looks like a horned human skeleton smothered within a bone-tight hide of slimy leather. It wields a longspear and snarls at Lyall.

dc 16 knowledge the planes:

This gaunt, abyssal creature is a babau, a demon that specialises in stealth and assassination. This result reveals all outsider and tanar'ri traits.

dc 21:
As well as its natural attacks, a babau can also take advantage of foes that it catches unaware to place a telling blow, much like a trained rogue does. Babau speak Abyssal, Celestial and Draconic.

dc 26:
Resistant to many forms of attack, babau are, however, vulnerable to good aligned weapons, and those made of cold iron. They do however have a protective coat of acidic slime which can damage or destroy most things that touch it.

dc 31:

31 Babau have a limited range of spell-like abilities. They can at will cast the following: darkness, dispel magic, see invisibility and greater teleport.

The cultist leaders begins casting a spell (defensibly) and try to touch Achren to deliver it.

I should be beginning the round at square C-13, which is where I moved during the surprise round - I can't seem to edit the map.

Devyhn points his crossbow at the back of the cultist (E-12) who moved to engage Arkon and fires.

Assisted by Achren's magic, he quickly reloads and fires again.

Odd I remember moving you there but I guess I didn't save that. and yes the map can only be edited by me I make changes to it manually in paint each time someone moves. I will make the change and it will be there for the next map update.

Unfortunately Erik tried to put too much power into his shots and the cultist avoid nearly every one. Only Erik's third arrow finds it's mark taking the cultist at I23 in the chest and causing him to stagger from the power of the shot.

The leader of the cultist is injured but still capable of fighting and even has a few tricks to pull. She splits into two identical clones and both of them attack together once more trying to deliver the nasty spell cast before.

Make a fort save Achren. Dc 18. drains 1d3 ⇒ 2 con if you fail.

The two cultist slowed by Lyall move forward and attack him despite being hindered by his spell. Their attacks are sluggish and Lyall finds himself being able to easily avoid them.

Lyall steps back and fires at one of the Cultists on his tail. "Hmmph. It seems I am in need of more shield hands. Regardless, at least they've stopped any warriors worth talking about. You two are beneath even my feeble martial prowess."

The cultist leader steps back away from Archren and creates another clone. Casting another spell the cultist leader attempts a mental attack this time.

Casting Confusion on Achren this time. Dc 18 will negates.

The remaining cultist continue to attack despite being clearly outmatched.

One attacks Erik attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

The two Lyall slowed glance at each other and seem to come up with a plan the one Lyall shot with an arrow steps forward and the other goes around behing Lyall. As lyall glances behind him the other attacks! sneak attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 121d6 + 3 + 2d6 ⇒ (1) + 3 + (6, 2) = 12

Still the ploy was an obvious one and Lyall manages to avoid this strike as well.

The demon feeling it has the advantage steps forward and continues to attack Arkon.
