Razmir the man known as the living god is making his move expanding into neighboring nations. It seems nobody can stop him as his power truly seems to be that of a god. A select few know the secret of his power and are taking steps to end his rule with the help of another who wields the same power as Razmir. Sazed Khaim a member of the old order of the keepers.

Houserules:

Houserules:

Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.

Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.
Rolls that will be handled by the GM:
Perception
Sense Motive.

if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.

Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.

Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...

Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: Everyone have fun.

Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).

Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."

There are 5 of us, each with 5K; that totals 25k, which is easily enough for a wand of restoration.

Personally, I can't see us needing much more than 2-3 per adventure; 15 charges would easily last us 5 adventures. I would have thought that by that time we would have someone able to hard cast it or we could afford a new one.

15 charges would cost us 6300gp, which is 1260gp each. If that's allowed, I vote we go for that.


Hmm I'd allow 100% full wand or 50% full.

Lyall, do you want the ring of Counterspells? If you are going for Eldritch Knight, won't you be vulnerable to Dispel Magic?

Otherwise, if we sell al the unclaimed loot, we end up with about ~1000gp each

I don't think we need to spend all our cash, as I detailed. We are allowed 50% full wand (25 charges), which would cost 10500gp, that's 2100gp each. That still leaves 2900gp each, plus what we can get from selling the rest of the loot.

Yes I think we should sell the Mithral Chain Shirt unless someone claims it, along with any unclaimed scrolls.

And Lyall, I agree with what Bleyz says - if it makes you stronger, it might save my life, besides it all works out in the wash; next time it will be someone else who gets more than their fair share, the time after that someone else, etc. If there is something that someone can use, let's use it.

That's a pain, but Magus rocked before they got access to that. Do they still get Flamboyant arcana?

I heard they got rid of early entry Prestige Classes, which is a shame. It was the only thing that made Prestige Classes worthwhile. I hope they bring it back another way.

Prestige classes seem thoroughly dumped in favor of archetypes.

I'm not surprised, the concept seems outmoded in the face of archetypes, but I wish they would translate them into archetypes instead of just dumping them. E.g. eldritch knight would become a Magus archetype that gives up spell combat and spellstrike to get a full arcanist spell list, Arcane Archer perhaps a ranger archetype? With arcane spells instead of divine? Stuff like that.

Hold person (resale 150x1/2 = 75gp)
Invisibility (resale 150x1/2 = 75gp)
True Strike (resale 25x1/2 = 12.5gp)
Levitate (resale 150x1/2 = 75gp)
Blur (resale 150x1/2 = 75gp)

Total from resales = 2937.5gp,split 6 ways Achren, Arkon, Bleyz, Devhyn, Erik, Lyall) = 456gp 2sp 5cp each. Add on the 2900 left from the 5000gp and each character gets:

3356gp 2sp 5cp

Add that to your character sheet, buy and sell.

It's been a good run, and I've enjoyed my time here, but I feel the desire to back out and redirect time/energy elsewhere.

Sorry to see you go but understood. I think I may have an idea were Lyall can leave. It should be fairly soon with the meeting with the leader of the fey if you want to quit before that then it's ok as well.

I was thinking the group would ask to speak to the leader of the fey and Lyall could bow out at this point by meeting and joining with the one who is many. But it doesn't look like the group is going there now.

One of my favourite characters in all of golarion. The one who is many is a collection of wizards who are joined in a hive mind and can swap places with each other at any moment. They share thoughts memory senses and there is hundreds of them.

They are a single individual with many bodies spear across the world and across multiple planes seeking out new knowledge to add to their already massive combined intellect. Their ultimate goal is to accumulate all knowledge. They often swamp bodies even in the middle of a conversation and finish each others sentences. One moment you are talking to an old man and then a young woman, an elf then a gnome ect...Awesome character.

Anyway he doesn't play a major in this campaign was just gonna give...them? a short cameo appearance.

Not sure what the next out would be lyall whats you timeline like? As in how much longer will you stay?

Lyall is a bit too anti-social to join One who is Many, and far too self-proud.

I'd prefer for him to receive a call of "We need specifically a wizard of your talents for *blah blah blah*" to give him an excuse to leave.
