Razmir the man known as the living god is making his move expanding into neighboring nations. It seems nobody can stop him as his power truly seems to be that of a god. A select few know the secret of his power and are taking steps to end his rule with the help of another who wields the same power as Razmir. Sazed Khaim a member of the old order of the keepers.

Casting: When casting a spell defensivly if you fail you do not automaticly lose the spell, rather you provoke an attack as you normally would for not casting defensive. If you are hit you must make a concentration check dc 10+damage taken if you fail this check you lose the spell.
Rolls:
Many rolls will be handled by the GM in secret.(don't worry, I don't fudge.)
Any result that can influence the character behavior will not be rolled open.
Rolls that will be handled by the GM:
Perception
Sense Motive.
if you make the check I will send you a pm or make a post and put it in a spoiler depending on the situation.
Sometimes I will roll Initiative others I will ask you to roll depending on the situation. In some situation (rarely) I will bypass init entirely and have you all go first and enemies second or have enemies go first and you all go after.
Combat rules:
I'm a fair GM, I dont roll combat in secret, I don't change results, I don't ignore bad calls from the characters.
Sometimes, character dies, but I'm not a player killer, if I think that an encounter will be easy handled, when it should be more challenging, I will make it a more challenging, if the party it's not prepared to face something, I will drop hints, if they insist... well killing one or two players never made me lack sleep...
Actions:
I'm a GM that do not punish the character for trying something new or cool, or even strange. Visual appealing actions are encouraged, the dc will of course depend on what are you trying, but you can try! If what you want to do is wicked cool, I can even bend the game mechanics to allow it! The most importat part is: Everyone have fun.
Posting Rate
If it could be done, I expect 1/day posting, if you can post more, it will really good.
During weekend, this rule does not apply. If you are able to post, great! But dont stress over this, everyone need some time to rest (In my case, I need time to play and DM :D on my tabletop games).
Level up
Aside from character creation, when you level up, if you want something not from core rulebook, you'll need to search it inside the game. basicly what you need to do is just show in game your character is searching for that knowledge. This rule is not meant to prohibit anything, I just don't like something like this: "Character always as a full caster, never picked up a sword in his entire life, and then he gain a new level and says: Master, I'll level up as a fighter now..."

my personal opinion is that we usually don't have enough down time for item creation, but if that's going to be worked into the game, that's fine. I would stay away from forge ring though - most of the good rings are SO expensive it would still be prohibitively expensive to make one. Wondrous Items or wands might be more useful.
FWIW Craft Wondrous items would be my choice; so many useful items at a relatively cheap cost. Everyone needs Cloak of resistance, spellcasters need bracers of armor, everyone uses amulet of natural armor, etc.
I get 2 new spells known at 3rd level; I was thinking Improved Invisibility and Black tentacles, but I'd also consider Dimension Door (or any other suggestion) in place of the Black Tentacles.
I've also revamped my eidolon. I got Arcane Strike, so I no longer need the magic attacks Evolution, and my Natural armor increases by 2 this level, so I have given up the improved natural armor evolution; I get an extra evolution point for levelling up (that's 3EP), and I have dropped Improved damage (claws) for a fourth EP and spent them on ability increase (Str) (which I can get up to twice) for +4 Str. I have noticed I am missing quite a bit, so that will help a lot (and my damage increases 1 point on average).

All 3 sound like good spells... and while black tentacles is a great battlefield control spell, it also stops the melee fighters from getting in close, so that's something to consider. Personally I love black tentacles, but being on the melee side of things, I can see both viewpoints.
those are some sweet stats on your eidolon... nice planning.
and hi, btw - I am the power behind the mikobito, Kimiko, too... I thought your name sounded familiar, lol.
lol - didn't realise that was you. Small world, eh- and I'm glad you made the cut.
I've never used Black Tentacles, so I appreciate the feedback; I also see Achren as more of a buffer than a battlefield controller, but I have heard that this is almost a must-have for summoners.
Of course, so is Dimension Door; I just feel that with makers jump I already have 1 use/day of that, making it less necessary.
So,unless someone has an objection, I'll go with Black Tentacles.
Mage Armor and Barkskin aren't on the Inquisitor spell list, though, so I would stil have to pay for the casting.
Lyall or I can cast Mage Armor, and Arkon can cast Barkskin; if it's for the party good I wouldn't have any objection, and I can't see them objecting either.
Minor announcement I am no longer single. Having a girlfriend is probably going to affect my posting in the future but for now it should be restricted to mostly just the weekends since we live rather far apart and can only see each other so often.

Just a quick update on my status:
My father in law is having triple bypass surgery on Tuesday. I will be on the road traveling on Monday, at the hospital on Tues. and perhaps home by Thurs or Fri. depending on his recovery. During that time, I will be posting but times and frequency may be weird or spotty. My apologies in advance.
I have an operation tomorrow, I am hoping it will be in and out but they may want me to stay for up to 3 days. If I am not running my character, please DMPC.

So, as I've been playing, I've come to define my role in the party more and more as buffing, and I'd like to ask if I can swap out Lingering Spell for Defensive Feedback.
OK: quick discussion on tactics (assuming we share details of the dragon): We need ideally to kill it with ranged attacks. I suggest that I cast Black tentacles on it; if I do it right (and if it's grappled), there will be room to get past it to the BBEG behind for those that melee (except perhaps Akron), while the rest shoot from a distance.

Take advantage of the fact that we're all relatively immune to fire and beat it to death in melee, abusing the bludgeoning hole in its DR, and the fact that our party is very nearly composed entirely out of incredibly mincing melee death machines?

He did mention that someone on the inside is summoning just about every golden skeleton and construct in the entire city to come kill us.
Whatever we do, it will have to involve hitting fast and hard.
I picked up searing light with my last level-up, and I can make my crossbow bolts undead bane. I can also cast disrupt undead at will, so I can continuously plink the dragon once everything else is used up.
We also need worry about the Razmiran. We know at this point that she's a caster. We need to keep her under pressure, and making Concentration checks every round - preferably accompanied by damage.

Well, the dragon is skeletal and therefore undead. The spell description says it does 1d6/caster level to udead. Also, it doesn't specify that the energy type is fire. It states that it is divine energy like the light of the sun.
I guess it depends on how the GM interprets this, and whether or not its resistances from its previous existence as a live dragon carry over into its undeath.
It might be better to cast the black tentacles on the razmiran...being grappled tends to put a damper on spellcasting, and it will enable us to concentrate on the dragon.

As a heads-up, I will be camping with my family this weekend, and most likely won't be able to post. Please bot me as needed. I should be back posting no later than Tuesday.
