Roxas I |
Roxas leans back in his chair, his father to his right and his sister farther right, listening to a report being presented on the news in the kingdom. Is this man ever going to say something interesting? He just goes on and on about the money we are suppose to be bringing in and sending to the king
Sir Terrinfor |
After the report has finished Sir Terrinfor addresses the agent. Send his liege an apology for the shortage of taxes, but with the recent raids from Ericoast my people have been having trouble keeping the crop up. Also I do not have a sufficient supply of warrior to guard the farms by night. I'm afraid there's nothing more I can give his majesty.

Agent of the King After hearing this the agent smiles and says, Perfect! I shall ride in the morning to bring the king this great news! And don't worry Sir Terrinfor, after we have taken out land back from those thieving fishermen there will be wealth for all to share! and with that the agent turns to leave.
Sir Terrinfor |
Turning to leave after the agent is out of ear shot. You are right Roxas, we do not have the means to pay him. Nor do I have any intentions to pay him now, only to buy time. We should try and send some men down to the coast to fish. Hopefully that way we'll be able to at least feed ourselves. We also need to bring the cattle closer back to the city.
Sir Terrinfor |
Stopping in the doorway to answer his daughter before leaving to arrange supplies for the tasks at hand, Ellie I need you to stay here and help me watch over the people. It's not enough for them to see an old man walking about. They need someone young to look up to, to give them hope. Also I can't risk you getting hurt. You're my only daughter and I must protect you at all costs. I don't want you sneaking off again like last time. And with that he leaves.
Roxas I |
Roxas sighs and leaves the room, "Wish me luck sis, who knows what will jump out of the river this time."
Roxas makes his way to the top of the castle and sits on the edge. He watches people go about their lives in their little village, I know they have harder lives then I have ever lived, but I cannot help but feel some sort of envy for them. They work hard, but they are not wrapped up in the politics of this war. I wonder what it would be like to walk among the common people for a day, and have them not know who I was...
Hovhannes |
It's around 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The sun is high in the sky and warm on your skin. A slight breeze from the North keeps you cool even though you're used to this temperature and do not require the aid of the wind. You can see, dogs barking, children playing, the commoners going about their daily business. Nothing particular catches your eye as the people below bustle around. Some men close to the castle base are loading a cart with supplies for tomorrows journey.
Roxas I |
Roxas closes his eyes and just lets the rays of the sun hit his skin.
What kind of climate and terrain are Adrxain and Mane Gloria primarily? Also, how big in Mane Gloria?
He reaches out to the stars. Even though the sun was shining and the stars were not visible, Roxas could still feel them out there, shining bright, just like his magic. He laughs to himself as he thinks of the first time he cast a spell, and how after twelve years, he still hadn't mastered that spell. "I'll practice more when I return."
Roxas heads downstairs and into the village, "People of Mane Gloria! I am leading out a small, armed group to the coast. We need some of you who know how to fish to join us. Who will come?" Roxas will repeat this speech until most of the village has heard it.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
People be hating on Roxas I guess :P
Fine, if no one will help we will have to do it on our own.
Roxas heads out to the ranches to meet with the farmers, "With the raids on our farms coming from Ericoast, my father wishes for you to bring you cattle to graze by the village wall, that way we can protect them better." knowing that the farmers and ranchers may not want to do this, Roxas smiles and trys to make it sound like a good and safe plan.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Roxas I |
Roxas wakes up before the sun and sits in his spot again, this time he looks up, watching the stars. Like most in the village he identified with the deity Cylica. What made him different was the connection he felt to her through the stars, almost like be belonged there with her in the starlit sky. Beautiful
By the time the sun is rising Roxas is at the gate, his personal supplies already in the wagon, but he took the time to make sure there would be room for everything the other five men needed. "Are we ready to go then? Lets be off," Roxas swings his crossbow over his shoulder and starts to head to the coast.

The coast is reached before anymore wolves attack and the men begin unloading the wagon while one of them tends to the wounded.
After a few minutes the men begin fishing.

By about mid day they have caught about a quarter of a barrel full. There are 3 barrels that have been instructed to fill. After some time of moving up and down the coast to better the odds one of the fishermen gets frustrated.
We'll never get enough fish at this rate! This whole adventure was a waist of time! It almost got one of our fellow men killed by wolves!
