Linah's blade slashes deeply against her foe, but the wounds seem to close quickly, while Khazmia's magic dissipates harmlessly on it. Seka dives into the water, moving as gracelessly as Linah usually does on land as he avoids the demon's bite, and drives his blade into its head. The attack brings a cry of pain, and the demon turns on the elf, tearing into him with fang and claws 27 hp, plus grabbed.

Kayle flies toward the next demon, only for its teeth to snap shut on her small form, holding her tight even as she claws against it. 18 hp, plus grabbed. I'll let her get the crit bite attack, but not the claws, since she had to move.
Linah and Khaz continue their assault on the other demon, spell and sword leaving huge marks in its flesh as it totters for a moment, but remains on this plane of existence.

Sekathral scrambles back to dry land as Kyson looks around from his airy perch. He doesn't notice any source of the demons -- which are melting back into the Abyss, as opposed to simply disappearing, indicating they weren't summoned -- but does realize from his angle that there's a hidden door in the north wall.

Kyson walks over to the north wall, seeing something.
"Hey, there is a door over here. Might be where they keep the maidens, probably," Kyson says way too hopefully, not even believing it himself, but wanting to believe.
"Let's go this way."
When others are healed, he will be ready to move on. He will allow others to open the door that he will check for traps.

Kyson looks saddened at Zstelian's lack of hope.
"Well, I haven't been able to find them where the sun is shining, so I'll have to look where the sun isn't!" Kyson says defiantly hopefully.

Through the door, stairs lead up ward to a chamber that contains a single hunk of raw wood placed as a crude altar near the north wall. The altar and the floor near it are sticky with swaths of mostly dried blood. A trail of blood leads from the door you emerge from -- which you suspect would be hard to see if you didn't know it were there -- to the altar.
A passageway leads to the east, apparently toward the area you entered from, with a branch running north and a doorway to the south.

Linah looks to the different exits and then to the crude altar in the center of the chamber. Were it not for her confidence in her diety she would most likely have emptied her stomach by now. "This seems like some sort of focal point, but I have a hard time imaginaging that things being some sort elevated feature in this temple. From my experience this types of worshipers, and the awful fiends they pay homage to, tend to demand something more grand", she says as she carefully makes her way towards the altar, extending her palm to prodd the area for traces of evil.

The altar appears to be demonic, the imagery featuring the two heads of Demogorgon. It radiates a strong aura of evil.
How would he fix it? Is just simple destroying good enough? Holy water? Solemn prayer? Flower pots?

"Smash it all, smash it good," Kyson replies, drawing his impervious scimitar and approaching the altar from the air. He takes the first swing while chanting some hold sun prayers that he remembers from his youthful and fun days as a nice normal scribe.
