I should continue posting just fine, but will be engaged in much buffoonery this weekend.

I'll be hanging with real-life Zstelian and real-life Khaz (she's almost lifelike!) while there.

I should have Kyson post up in about 3 hours, about to board the airplane and wanted to speak with Khaz about some awesome Sarenrae level smackdown we could deliver upon those who would attack a Church of Sarenrae.

Tomorrow I'll travel abroad. I'll be back (*giggle*) the 17th of july. I might post something during the next one and a half weeks but it only be me holding up the action please DMPC as necessary.

Linah will continue to sprint towards the chapel. When she get's there she will command the pirates to surrender. Should they not comply she will attack (with combat expertise to hopefully avoid any harm to her and give the pirates a reason to keep fighting).

Funny thing is that I read it as beard first time over and got quite confused with all the other posts talking about a bear. I had to read the original post all over again before I saw it :)

Let me look through the full village writeup and get back to you. It's a small place, but there are definitely some higher-level folks who can help you out.

There's certainly time to scribe scrolls, if that's what you want to do.

OK, good news and bad. Currently, Farshore's still a pretty small, isolated village. Which means it doesn't have many goods.

That said, actions you take can improve it's capacity to buy and sell goods.

Part of that capacity is sending someone back to Eleder and establishing a trade route. You could easily arrange to ship any goods you have there and order new ones ... but it'll take six months to make a full trip unless you have some way to speed up the process (i.e. if someone learned teleport, for example).

Though you're still just getting to know the town, you're becoming aware of its resources. Other sites beyond the chapel, the harbor, the infirmary, the militia, the palisade and the watchtowers that could be of interest include:
* The docks
* Warehouses
* The south gate
* The cemetery
* The east gate
* Vanderboren Manor
* Meravanchi Manor
* The clayworks
* Sellis' Woodworks and Smithy
* Tehrik's Tannery
* The Last Coconut tavern and inn
* Farshore Hall of Records
* The apothecary's infirmary
* The greenhouse
* Aldwattle's Laboratory
* Farms

As you decide to explore each, I can give you more details. Upgrading each place typically takes a skill check, though sometimes other details, as well as some time (often, but not always, a week).

Oh, and if you do want to set up a supply run to Eleder, you're going to have to do that sooner rather than later -- or you can take your chances with what's here (i.e. you'll have more luck if you're trying to get a weapon crafted vs. finding a bag of holding)/that you'll get teleport before the ship returns.

Yes. But hopefully you'll survive beyond the encounter with the pirates. That said, if Khaz is planning to get teleport, it's not really something you need to worry about.

What you need, duh, is someone with Magic Circle of Protection from Evil 10' prepped. Then it's an easy fix.

Too bad you don't have anyone like that.

I will be traveling all over heck from 8/30 to 9/20 or so. I *should* have internet access most of the days, save for when I'm in the air or on a long hikes through wherevertheheck I am.

Most of the places I will be staying will have internet, but cannot promise anything. I expect that I'll be usual 'charming' and able-posting yahoo for most of the vacation.

However, if you're waiting on me for more than 8 hours, feel free to GMPC me.
