I'm at PaizoCon Thursday to Monday so I'll be posting sporadically, but shouldn't slow anyone down.

Haha, glad to hear it :) I'd like to use him myself as an NPC but i'm afraid that my players would kill him.

By the way, what role does he play in the RL Kingmaker game?

He's one of Kesten Garess' soldiers. (Kesten's very different in the RL game; I didn't think the way the mod calls for him to be played would translate well to PBP so I tweaked him a lot, along with his soldiers.)

I actually made the PCs mercenaries who are working for him, as I thought it would make a lot more sense for him to get the contract to explore than a group of random first-level characters. Then of course things will happen to end up with them in charge at the proper time...

Man, this dino's brutal. I know it's techincally 3.0 (maybe 3.5; don't remember the timing), which can cause some difficulties, but I think if there were only four players, you guys would be in (more) serious trouble!

My girlfriend's father is entering hospice care, so it's possible my posting could be affected over the next week or so. Not sure what she'll need from me.

Oh Silvio! You know that Dargon doesn't post that often and you know that you have the best chance to tear down the barricade, so pushing this off to Dargon means we may be wasting a few days.

Might you take a few spins at it?

The reason i choose Dargon is that he has the best strength. It was a toss between him and Zstelian but since Dargon did some heavy lifting in the dragon's hideout i thought it was proper for Silvio to expect Dargon to do it here as well.

Although now that i review my character sheet i realise that i put 15 strength into Silvio as well. Thought it was 13.

I don't know how much I'll be able to post in the next few days. It's the viewing for my girlfriend's dad, then his funeral tomorrow; plus I'm filling in for a co-worker at work; and then I'm off to a weekend camping trip. We're not at the most labor-intensive area here, so I'm more likely to post since I can do it quickly, but if I disappear, I'm not abandoning you to the caves forever.

Wow. Kyson surprised me today...it would surprise me even moreso if he got *any* convert, let alone one like Seka.

No...don't think it's going to happen, but we'll enjoy RPing it not happen.

Hey all, I'm about to go to a wedding/on vacation (Aug. 3-9) and don't know how much Internet time I've got. It's possible I'll have none, but it's also possible that I'll be able to check most nights as I tend to stay up a couple hours later than my girlfriend.

Sorry - realise the lesser restoration only cures 1d4 points of ability damage to one score. So... 1d4 ⇒ 4. Do I get to choose the score, or does the GM?

I believe I took 6 points of Str damage and 5 points of Con damage.

I think you can choose the stat if you want, Seka. However, unfortunately, I don't think you took the potion before the current combat, did you? (It's possible I may have missed it.)

I choose Con, btw, which may end up make me slightly less dead.

Just to check, does taking damage while at negative hp negate your stabilised condition? I've checked the PRD, but it doesn't say anything specific that I could find...

I believe it does negate your stabilization.

So...you're on the clock again and Kyson frets whether you want to be saved.

I think it does as well. The first one happened before Kyson's healing, though. The second one ... well, Kyson SHOULD be able to heal you before you expire. If he wants to. Kyson, this could be a good way to get rid of someone who wants to stab you in the back! Perhaps this is Sarenrae's will. Think about it. : )

Khaz, Zstelian, and Kyson will be attending Pacificon in the Bay Area from today through Monday. Our posting may be sporadic as we intend to drink beer and talk like Silvio the entire weekend.

Just FYI, I'm going to try to start submitting my posts before I upload a map, since that's often where I manage to accidentally close/navigate away from the page and lose everything I've worked on. I'll then upload the map and go back to edit in a link to it. So basically if we're in combat and I'm posting maps and you see I've just posted something with no map, wait a couple minutes and a map may magically appear.

Sounds like we may be down a handful of people through Monday, so we'll just play it by ear. If nothing happens that requires an update, I may just hold off until everyone gets back Monday.

Back after a long weekend and convention...I won't be fully engaged until the morrow. I know that Khaz worked amazingly hard all weekend and that Zstelian is probably not even home yet from his drive.

Yep, I knew Zstelian when I still had my mortal form.

I figure it's been about 5 years...we met playing Living Greyhawk organized play, then a period of less contact during some years of LFR, then again with Pathfinder Society play.

I met Khaz through PFS play 18 months ago? 2 years? Whenever it was, we've had fun ever since.

Couple questions: How are you guys feeling about pacing? I'm more meaning in terms of leveling -- you're on the verge of getting to 4th -- though otherwise too (I feel like we've been in these caves forever!).

Also, would one or two of you mind when you get a chance posting how you guys are looking wealth-wise? I'm feeling like you may be fairly under-treasured for 4th-level characters per WBL standards.

Kyson is at about 1750gp in wealth + 77 gp in cash on hand, not including anything we've picked up.

The Ring of Swimming is not included in that total as I consider it to be group loot and to be sold at an appropriate time.
