Apparently not. Must mean it's exactly where we're meant to go, then.

So, I'm thinking something about adaptability for a trait for Dargon, but I'm not quite sure what. Are you thinking of multi-classing at all? I'd say maybe you could have a second favored class...

(If not, I'll think of something else. What about letting you get two benefits from your favored class -- i.e. one HP and one skill point? Part of me feels like that might be too much, so please feel free to weigh in. The benefits would have to be different -- you couldn't get two skill points or 2 HP per level.)

Male Dwarf Monk 5 [HP 54/54]

What about a modified version of Tavern Owner Just the selling bonus portion of it. And of course it's not a friend or relative but Dargon that owns it, and it's not a tavern but a shop. I would need to have a shop keep running it for me while I'm out so maybe count that as consideration for the rest of the traits benefits that I would forgo or otherwise modify it in some way to make it work for you too.

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

You can take that if you want (though it would probably have to be modified as good salesman, since you're all not too long for Eleder). There are some fairly large chunks of time, though, where you won't be able to sell things, especially toward the end of the Adventure Path.

Male Dwarf Monk 5 [HP 54/54]

That's fine. I'm ok with not always having a benefit from the trait.

So how about.

Traveling Saleman - Your history as a merchant traveling the inner sea has given you insight into the true cost and expenses of running a shop all over the inner sea. You use that knowledge to your advantage when selling off treasure, earning you an additional 10% over the amount of gp you normally would get.

As for not being able to sell stuff as times, I'm fine with that. The fluff fits and it's just a trait... so no biggie.

Just FYI, I'll be on vacation Wednesday night through Monday, and don't expect I'll get a chance to post during that time, though I should still get a couple more updates in before I leave.

I'll be on vacation abroad between the 18th june (this coming monday) to the 2nd of july. During this period (probably the 3rd as well to account for possible jetlag) i will probably not be able to post at all, since i won't bring a laptop and posting on my phone is a pain in the behind.

So Silvio won't be active during that period.

There are only AC 17, which doesn't seem bad for third level. Actually, I really like these bad guys -- mid-range AC and to-hit, but lots of hit points since they don't know when they're dead, meaning you can't just hit them once and move on.

AC 17 is pretty high for 3rd level. Think about what a cleric or bard's attack bonus is going to be - +2 from base attack bonus, maybe +2 from strength/dex.

Oh well, surely Silvio will save us!

Talking about this math made me realize that my attack bonus was completely wrong.

It should have been.

+4 dex
+2 base attack bonus
+2 favored enemy
+1 bless
(+1 point black shot)

I was using my melee attack line.

So about that retcon. =P

As usual, I was too busy with cheap innuendo to bother with healing - until it was MUCH too late (adopts self-pitying face)

What's the procedure - do we assume I was healed, hence am still on my feet and don't have to take my 5 foot step and drink my potion, or should I suffer the consequences?

I would be ok with assuming you healed. But at the same time there are only 3 of them so you could role play with it just for the fun of it. Either way you do get a d8+1 from the potion so you would have gotten 1 more HP back.

To be fair, Silvio mentioned 'maidens' which usually implies some aspect of virginity.

Of course, *I'm* not calling that claim into question, but by Silvio's lack of action via Motte, *he* might be.

*looks as if she's considering it, then thinks again and smiles as she offers* well perhaps it is all a matter of perspective. Maybe Motte just couldn't recognize Khaz' relative virginal nature because he was blinded by the blazing white of Kyson's supreme virginosity.

Hmm...

While I took Flyby Attack to mitigate the amount of danger Kayle is in, I find that it would be nice to leave her in position to get a full attack from time to time.

In the future, when I say that Kayle uses Flyby can we assume that she ends her movement 10' above her target? This leaves her in position to 5' step down and get a full attack when an less dangerous opportunity presents itself.

Is that okay Mott?

Let me take a look at the feat to make sure that's OK.

RPG Superstar 2014 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

Looking at it, I think I'm going to rule she needs to succeed at a DC 15 Fly check to succeed. (That's the DC to hover, which it feels like she'd be sort of doing by bouncing up and down.) Does that seem reasonable?

If she fails, basically her momentum would carry her on in the direction she was previously going (meaning she wouldn't be able to f-foot step to get back in position for a full attack).

That's basically what she'd have to do the following round anyway, since if she 5' foot stepped to full attack she wouldn't have moved far enough.
