Wow! and Spellcraft to identify the spell: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Oh well... Can't complain!

Male Human (Mwangi) Fighter/7

Why not?

Thunder Rolling took his massive axe in hand and launched himself at the point on the tree that Abigail indicated. With a grunt of effort, he slammed the axe into the tree, the adamantite blade cutting easily.

Spoiler:

Okay, not sure how to handle this. here's an attack roll, (though the tree shouldn't have an AC?) 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17

Round 4:

Kregimie
Abigail
Koremar
Thunder
Queen Rhoswen

What the queens intended with her illusion remains unknown as Abigail quickly unravels the magic with a prayer to Erastil, causing the woman to screech in anger.

Thunder begins hacking into the tree, his massive axe sending huge chips of wood flying, though he's not able to get through it immediately. Can do full attack, so I rolled your backswing. [ooc]47 hp total

As Thunder's axe continues to hew into the hard wood, the queen's actions remain unknown. i.e. she's doing something, but not making any noise.

Male Elf Bladebound Magus 1

With the Queen out of sight and most likely up to no good with nefarious plans...one of which Abigail must have thwarted considering that wail... Koremar had no target and chose to bolster his own defenses with magic.

Thunder

Motteditor, just checking to see if you factored in Kreg's bonuses for being invisible when attacking (+2 to attack and ignore Dex bonus to AC). Plus he was charging, which I think you had in there. So it looks like his attack would be a 20 against her AC without Dex.

If he still misses then he will begin to attack whichever tree Thunder is this round.

Whoops. That will indeed hit, if you want to roll damage. She still disappears immediately afterward, though.

Koremar gritted his teeth at the missed opportunity to attack the dreaded Queen. He knew his sword was a paltry weapon against the tree but he could find her at least like he did before.

Koremar, the mirror radiates a magic aura, as does the bird that Sacha turned into.

As Thunder and Kregimie hack into the tree, the queen suddenly appears across the room behind you, brandishing her twisted, gnarled black oak staff.

Casting Blessing of fervor on Thunder, Kregimie, Koremar and me. Round 1/7.

Blessing of fervor:

Each round for the duration of this spell, each of your allies can choose one of the following bonuses for that round at the beginning of its turn (their choice).

-Increase its speed by 30 feet.
-Stand up as a swift action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
-Make one extra attack as part of a full attack action, using its highest base attack bonus.
-Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves.
-Cast a single spell of 2nd level or lower as if it were an enlarged, extended, silent, or still spell.

These effects are not cumulative with similar effects, such as those provided by haste or a speed weapon, nor do they actually grant an extra action, so you can't use it to cast a second spell or otherwise take an extra action in the round. Blessing of fervor does not stack with haste.

Male Human (Mwangi) Fighter/7

Thunder spun and charged at Rhoswyn, his axe blurring in the air. With a shout of triumph, he brought his axe screaming down on the fey queen.

She's probably an illusion

Abigail casts as Thunder and Kregimie charge toward Rhoswen. However, their attacks simply go through through the faerie queen, who laughs madly at their inability to hit her.

Will save DC 19:

The queen does in fact appear to be an illusion.

Koremar, the mirror appears to have three auras, the most powerful of which radiates strong magic. You also notice a faint aura around the queen.

You can hear the queen casting again and suddenly Thunder feels the urge to start laughing, but it quickly fades. Perception DC 20 to determine where in the tree the queen is.

Quickly, she points at the position where the Queen is hiding: "Keep fighting, she's hiding in there!"

She whistles a short note on the string of her bow. The vibration moves back and forth along the string, until it accumulates in one point, releasing a loud, ringing noise that attacks the structure of the tree.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
She frowns as she realizes the Queen is trying to incapacitate the warrior. Good thing I protected his mind...

Cast Shatter on the tree where she is hiding. Don't know if the spell will work or how.

Male Human (Mwangi) Fighter/7

Thunder recovered from his missed swing, and grimaced at the writhing black energy that seemed to blanket his mind. The urge to laugh uncontrollably crawled through his mind, leaving a trail like a slug. But through it all, he heard Abilgail's soft voice, encouraging him to throw off the foul presence...and he did. The warrior growled as the mental pressure abated and turned to strike once more, but Abigail's shout brought him up sharp. She's hiding in the tree still? But, she was right here.... Deciding to trust his friend more than his eyes, Thunder leaped at the spot on the tree where Abigail had indicated.

Abigail's spell shatters the tree where the queen was hiding, revealing her to you. Thunder rushes in to attack, but she's easily able to sidestep his blow, as she then ducks under Kregimie's.

Koremar, the auras are divination, enchantment, and illusion, but you're not sure what the mirror actually does. It seems incredibly powerful and you're not sure you can identify what it can do without with the help of magic.

She quickly casts, taking care not to leave herself open to attack i.e. casting defensively, and then reaches out and caresses Thunder's face with a cold hand. Despite her cold nails on his skin, he again feels mirth bubble up inside him and bursts out laughing. A laughing creature can only take a move action but can defend itself normally (lasts 1 round).

Kregimie's spear just misses as well, seeming to be pushed aside at the last moment. No charge, as he had closed on the previous round.

Then I move with the wolverines, hoping they could catch her scent, willing to leave the room if need be.

Male Elf Bladebound Magus 1

Current stats:

HP = 58/58, AC = 20, + 2 Reflex, 4/8 Arcane Pool

Blessing - Gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves.

Anyone able to see where she went? We mustve hurt her bad for her to run.

Koremar will focus his Detect Magic spell sweeping the room for any clues.

@ motteditor - can we go up or down those stairs?

"Can anyone track her? Finde her?!" Abigail shiws anger at her foe fleeing so cowardly. She also knows her divine grace is quite spent. Hopefully, so is the Queen's.

Male Human (Mwangi) Fighter/7

Thunder cast about, his axe held ready, as if Rhoswyn might reappear at any moment. "Not can track. Maybe polisuwanimi...how you say, badgers?...can."

One of the stairs leads up, the other leads down.

The wolverines are unable to track her, as her scent covers the entire room and there's no direct line to whereever she went via magic.

"Up?"

Male Elf Bladebound Magus 1

Up sounds good.

Male Human (Mwangi) Fighter/7

"Let's go." Thunder hefted his axe and moved towards the stairs leading upwards.
