Koremar wasnt sure how much time they had left. Still, the tide of battle seemed to finally being turned in their favor and he rode that momentum. He notched another arrow and slowly let out his breath as he let it fly towards the troublesome gnome.

Abigail fires two more arrows.

Koremar and Abigail both manage to hit Tenzekil again with arrows 16 points damage, 52 total but his cries of pain are dwarfed by the scream of anguish as Thunder and Sacha finish the giant bee off, Thunder's axe cutting it in half.

The bleached gnome gestures, and the swarm flies toward the pair of them, stinging furiously. 11 hp to both

Unable to attack, Kreg tries to get himself into an advantage position with Thunder.

Are we waiting on another GM update before next round posts? I know mott said he was busy busy this weekend, but I am not sure.

Yup. It's on my list of things to do in the next few hours. Sorry. Spending time with my parents ended up being more exhausting than I was expecting. : ) (Spent Day 1 doing chores around the house, then a long hike on Day 2.)

As Kregimie moves back toward Thunder Rolling, Tenzekil's cry of "Murderer! seems to reverberate off the hills. He gestures again, seemingly ignoring everyone else, and a burst of lightning flashes toward Thunder, as does the ball of fire. Though the Mwangi warrior is able to avoid the fire, the lightning hits home with a vicious shock. 14 hp damage

Okay, since the swarm was stinging me, does the lightning bolt or fireball damage it in any way? Also, where is teh gnome in relation to Thunder?

Crap, forgot about the swarm, which will take some fire damage.

Map is a touch out of date in terms of fire, bees and Kregimie's location (closer to Thunder), but Tenzekil's is accurate.

Thunder snarled at the bee swarm, and grabbed the torch from the ground that was now littered with charred bees. He flailed at the remnants of the bee swarm, trying to burn the last of them from the air while the others dealt with the blasted gnome. "That one really start to get on my nerves."

Koremar wasted no time sending yet another arrow speeding towards the gnome.

Abigail keeps her sight on the gnome: "Surrender or die!" She lets fly another rapid volley.

Kreg gets into position again and tries to take out the giant bee.

Hmmm, I was confused because it seemed like the bee stung someone after you hit it. In that case, Kreg will fly toward Tenzekil.

Koremar and Abigail's arrows fly wide of the bleached gnome as Thunder scorches enough of the bees to finally get the remaining ones to be a minor annoyance, no threat to you.

As Kregimie approaches Tenzekil, he can see tears streaming down the former beekeeper's face. "Curse you, Rhoswen," he calls out, his voice full of anguish. The bleached gnome gestures, almost resignedly, and a bolt of lightning and the ball of fire leap toward Thunder Rolling again, but he's able to avoid both attacks.

As yet another arrpw sped form the elf's bow at the gnome.

Thunder Rolling leaps aside as the lightning bolt and fireball scatter the last remnants of the bee swarm. Then, axe in hand, he charged towards Tenzekil, hoping to bury the blade in the gnome's head. "Come, let's finish this!" he called as he charged.

Kreg moves closer but holds up his longspear in a defenseless posture. He doesn't attack or threaten Tenzekil, instead he begs him to reconsider. "Tenzekil! I know you don't want to do this! Do not throw your life away for someone as evil as the Fellnight Queen!"

Abigail holds her fire waiting to see if the gnome will stop.

Koremar's arrow flies past Tenzekil as Thunder rushes closer to the fight. Note that the gnome is still 30 feet in the air.

As Abigail waits for a moment, Kregimie tries again to reach out to the bleached gnome. He seems to hesitate for a few moments before finally saying -- barely audible enough to hear -- "My life is ruined already. What does it matter who takes it?" He gestures again -- triggering Abigail's attack, which bounces off his armor -- and a bolt of lightning shoots once more toward Thunder, barely missing him, as the ball of fire rolls toward him as well. Ball doesn't reach him this round due to his double move.

Koremar's heart sank as Tenzekil gave up on redemption and with the dangerous gnome flinging spell after spell they couldnt afford to try to convert him another time. He'd rather be toe to toe with Mai'Tahl in his hand but the situation called for ranged combat. So he let out his breath as his hand released an arrow.

Abigail curses as her arrow misses again. Swiftly, she maneuvers in the air to get within 30 feet of the bleached gnome: "You've sealed your fate... May Erastil smile upon your corpse."

Sacha turns and turns, staying near the towering warrior.

Thuner Rolling, seeing that he wasn't going to be able to attack the gnome yet, continued to move, drawing lightning bolts and fireballs from the gnome and trying to keep the others safe.

Move another 30 feet towards the gnome, or past. Hurl a dagger at the gnome, just for funsies 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23

Koremar and Thunder's missiles hit home, drawing more blood from the badly injured Tenzekil. 13 hp, 65 total Kregimie, finally giving up his attempts at peace, charges, but can't quite hit home with his spear.

Flying backward, away from Kregimie and Abigail's arrows, the gnome pulls and quaffs a potion, and you can see some of his wounds begin to knit closed. 14 pts healing, 51 damage total He gestures, and another bolt of lightning rains down on Thunder, who's again able to avoid it.

Thunder considered throwing his axe at the blasted gnome, but held it ready just in case the creature should come down to his level.

Koremar wonders at how fast the gnome seems to be but doesnt get attached and like any elven trained warrior calmly gets back to the business at hand. He moves to follow Tenzekil and fires again.

Abigail moves forward again, staying within killing range of the gnome and lets fly another arrow.

As Koremar, Kregimie and Abigail all miss, Tenzekil casts again before gesturing and sending another bolt toward Thunder Rolling. The bolt hits, painfully jarring the Mwangi warrior. 13 hp

He has protected himself with a Stoneskin spell! We have to use adamantine weapons or magic to bring him down! Try to ground him!

His martial skills being next to useless unless he could hit him with Mai'tahl; Koremar called upon his magic instead.

Swift action to Spell Recall Magic Missile

He spoke arcane words and poined at the bleached gnome. Four magical darts sped from his head to strike Tenzekil.

Abigail curses as she switches to her few precious adamantine arrows. Each one must count...

Point Blank Shot w/ adamantine arrow: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33; 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Ah! I'm back baby!

Thunder Rolling hefted his adamantine axe in his hands, waiting for the others to drive the gnome low enough for him to strike. Grinding his teeth against the pain, he yelled up at the gnome. "Fahwahliushi noggmidehaula shafalvabani eluaushi!" In his pain, he called out in his native tongue.

Koremar's bolts hit home seconds before Kregimie manages to finally hit the bleached gnome, the acid doing some minimal damage. The badly injured Tenzekil cries out, "Curse you!" and sends the flaming ball toward Thunder, who manages to again avoid it.

Then Abigail lets loose with an arrow, which hits Tenzekil between the eyes. The gnome seems stunned for a second, and then begins drifting slowly to the ground, dead, his eyes continuing to stare sightless ahead of him.

Thunder Rolling watches the gnome drift to the ground. Odds were that the creature was dead, the arrow having done the job, but as the gnome got closer, he hefted his axe and swung. With a great effort, the axe cleaved the gnome's head from his shoulders.

Using the readied action above. I assume the arrow killed him and Thunder is just finishing the deed with massive damage.

As Tenzekil fell from the sky and Thunder Rolling finished him off; Koremar knelt to the ground and offerred a prayer to every good natured deity he knew to watch over the gnome's soul. It was a sad set of circumstances that brought todays confrontation to its grisly end. He was happy that non eof his freinds had fallen in the battle and pulled out his wand to start the healing. He got up and approached the Mwangi warrior offerng the wand's powers.

Not sure where you're at HP wise Thunder. THe wand does 2d8 + 3 per charge. So fill up and let me know how many charges it takes. Kreg will be next so the same goes for the gnome.

Thunder Rolling sighs in relief as Koremar's wand healed the worst of his injuries. His burned flesh and spasming muscles felt worlds better. "Thank you, friend Koremar. Best be seeing to friend Kregemie, as well. He is likely hurt in more than flesh, I think."

Doesn't look like Kregimie keeps track of his HP on his sheet, so someone may need to go back and total up what he's taken. I can later on if no one else wants to.

Nodding to Thunder Koremar didnt spare the time for words as he quickly moved to heal the hurt gnome.

The elf figured Abigal could heal herself but was prepared to use the wand on her as well if necessary but he triggered the wand on himself in case something jumped them in their moment of respite.

Well i am certainly not pleased that Tenzekil gave his life for this Queen. She will pay for his death along with all of the others she has taken before their time.

The ever practical Kreg gave his thanks for the much needed healing and then set about the unpleasant task of searching the bleached gnome.

Koremar, you can find a pouch of berries, a pearl, two scrolls, leather armor, a light wooden shield, a club, sling and 20 bullets, a haversack and 162 gp.

The elven magus doesnt hesitate to cast Detect Magic on their findings.

The armor and wooden shield radiate faint abjuration magic, the berries and pearl radiate faint and strong transmutation, respectively; the haversack moderate conjuration. The potions radiate conjuration (healing) and abjuration, respectively.

Abigail lets herself drift down slowly towards Sacha. She caresses the beast as tears start to flow from her eyes. With Sacha at her side, she approaches the dead gnome and kneels at his side. "Such an unnecessary death. Oh! How can the passions that lie in one's heart, if fueled properly by a cunning spirit, lead to purposeless doom! Erastil, I ask for your compassion. Let his soul find a peaceful path in the afterlife, so that Tenzekil can find his community in the next world..."

Abigail then borrows the wand to vure Sacha: "Rhoswen might be near. I would prefer to keep my gifts for the confrontation."

"I can restore the effects of the bees' poison, but only for one of you."

How many potions are there?

I was unaffected by the bees poison. Kreg looks a little shaky on his feet however. These items are all magical in nature and I'm sure we can make use of some of them. Look at this pearl Abigail. Arent they typically usefull to those of faith?

Koremar will reach inside the haversack to see what's inside.

pretty sure the armor and shield arent useful for us so unless someone speaks up for them Koremar will store them in his Bag of Holding.

We need to find a place to rest.

Thunder Rolling knew that the others felt strongly about this gnome for some reason, and that his axe's blade would bear no damage from the ground. So, with a few great sweeps of the axe, he carved out a shallow grave for the gnome, to give him some form or resting place. "Not understand why you care so much about an enemy, but grave he now has.: mumbled the warrior.

Whoops, sorry, no potions. There are two scrolls. Duh.

Koremar, you think the items are 8 goodberries, a pearl of power (1st), one scroll each of antiplant shell and neutralize poison; +1 leather armor, +1 light wooden shield and a handy haversack.

The haversack has the coins and other basic traveling gear inside.

The pearl could be of use to me, but really, for anyone who prepares spells. Now, I think I saw you studying spells as well. Perhaps you could find a better use than me?"
