Looking slightly askance at the shopkeep, unsure if he's joking, an idiot or trying to communicate in some unknown tongue, Kereek nods at Jon's offer. "I ride with Big Hero Jon in wagon. No eat horses. Horses taste bad." He says the last part very slowly as if the shopkeep is a half-wit.

Jon, agreeing with Agnar's advice, takes time to let his horse get familar with Prazil, Fang and Kereek.

Note, some of my descriptions feel a little stilted here, but I'm trying to also introduce the sites to our new players. If any of the new folks want to interact with those sites, please feel free.
The horse seems to pick up Jon's nervous energy and balks a bit at first, but Kereek is eventually able to calm it enough that it settles down.
Still, it's much slower going than Orin, Treshiell and Agnar are used to thanks to the wolf, pony and wagon -- which causes some difficulty in the rougher terrain.
As you begin by swinging west, it takes you almost a full day to travel 12 miles to get through the heavily forested area and you soon find yourself setting up camp.
The night passes uneventfully and you make far more progress the next day as you cross back into the grassy plains. Traveling west as far you've explored, you reach the strange cairn you left undisturbed last time you passed, then turn south, toward areas you've not yet been.
Another night passes uneventfully -- and swinging wide of the fetid smelling pond where you encountered the giant frogs previous -- you begin south through the plains.
Before you can begin travel that third morning, however, you're awoken to the sounds of harsh snorting and squealing coming quickly toward you!
You'll have a 30 seconds to prepare before whatever is making the noise -- which you can discern with a DC 22 Knowledge (nature) check -- arrives. Note that you're just getting up from camp, so likely don't have armor, etc. on if you don't sleep in it or weren't last watch (though obviously we haven't figured that out yet).

Prazil, I couldn't find your Initiative on your sheet, but it looks like it should be +4
Yup! That's cuz I forgot it! It's added now, sorry 'bout that.
Prazil shoots out from underneath Jon's wagon as he hears the raucous sounds, his head snapping left to right and back again dizzingly quick as he tries to identify the source. He blows a sharp whistle then kneels back down, grabbing his shield and hammer. Just as he reemerges with his meager equipment, Fang comes bounding over, obediently lowering his head.
Do you want Fang to just act on my initiative count for simplicity's sake? If not, his Initiative modifier is +3
Speaking of Fang, he has Endurance, so there's no penalty for him to keep the barding on while sleeping. As such, while out in the wilds, Prazil will take it off each morning before breakfast for a short time so Fang can stretch then put it back on as we break camp/set out for the day

Grumbling, Agnar stands up and grabs his weapons, laying his longspear on a stump nearby, sticking his halfspear in the ground in front of him, then stringing his bow and nocking an arrow.
"Sounds like something's coming for breakfast."

As four massive boars break through the undergrowth, Orin's arrows hit the largest, lead beast, though they barely seem to slow it. 13 hp to Boar 1
Prazil rushes to the front on his wolf, throwing himself into the fray, his hammer finally seeming to get through to the beast Orin shot. 6 hp; 19 total

Prazil affectionately ruffles the fur at the base of Fang's neck then deftly slides down off the wolf's back. With a pat to his flank, Fang then bounds off for the little while before Prazil puts the barding and saddle on him.
Prazil then approaches Agnar, his smile bright. He performs his overly exuberant victory dance of joy briefly, his arms waving in the air as he springs from one foot to the other, before he calms himself. He yips at Agnar to catch the hunter's attention then proudly points at one of the dead boars, triumphantly declaring one of the few big feet words he knows:
"Bay-Cone!"

Agnar laughs, nodding approvingly at Prazil. As Kereek speaks, Agnar replies "I wish we'd had your magic back when the wolves were taking down our horses. It's mighty magic indeed."
Turning back to Prazil, he decides that now is as good a time as any to work on the language barrier. Pointing with his dagger to the slabs he's removing from the belly, he says "Bacon." He waits for Prazil's response, then points to the whole animal. "Pig." He'll go on like that as he works, naming various things as he goes along, occasionally throwing scraps and viscera to Prazil's wolf for disposal.

Prazil nods sagely at Agnar throughout his grisly lesson, occassionally grunting in affirmation. When it seems the lesson is done, Prazil nods appreciatively then calls out to Kereek, "האם אתה יודע כמה מילים יש? להם על חזיר? כל כך מסובך שלא לצורך! כמה מילים הם יצטרכו בשבילנו"

Finishing butchering the boars, you travel south through plains for a day before re-entering heavy, unexplored woods. Two days of uneventful mapping -- it takes longer due to moving more slowly with the wagon and smaller mounts -- reveal nothing of interest in the area, so you continue south, to the border of the area you're chartered to explore.
On the second day, of exploring the area you discover a somewhat sunken clearing, surrounded by the stink of moldering plants and a strange quiet in the sound of birdlife. At the center of the clearing, the soggy ground becomes an insect-infested, stagnant, swamp-like pond, and sprawled at the pond’s southern edge is what appears to be a dead horse.

haha!
Treshiell remains steated on her horse, watching Orin, Agnar and Jon examining the unicorn. "It is a unicorn, Agnar", she says taking the clerics question literary. "A dead unicorn. What do you think it died from?"
Is there a knowledge check Treshiell can make to learn more about the unicorn or the state of the water?
