Skaar races forward, grabbing the scorching hot elemental and crushing it against his body. he suffers 2 hp fire damage, must make DC 14 Reflex save to avoid catching fire Seconds later, bolts from Tasha catches the elemental as an archon appears nearby behind the other foe.
As BrainPal informs Drogusk that the creatures are indeed resistant to normal damage DR 5/-, as well as being able to burn anything they touch and vomit up puddles of lava once a day, in addition to being immune to fire and other elemental traits, the half-orc charges forward, driving his blade through the creature's "head." However, elementals are not subject to crits, so no luck there.
The creature roars in frustration, slamming molten fists into Skaar. One hits with a thunderous impact. 12 hp, plus 6 fire damage, plus DC 14 Reflex save to avoid catching on fire

Tasha briefly closes her eyes and draws on the new powers unlocked by the foxhead medallion. Drawing on that power, she pulls a spell out of the aether and into her mind as she rises back to her feet.
"Exhalatio," she says, as silver scales ripple up her throat and across her face, "Draconis!" And then she exhales. A blast of cold issues from her mouth, enveloping the flying elemental.
Tasha uses one charge of Wild Arcana to gain access to Dragon's Breath, and fires it at the magma elemental for 7d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 3, 5, 6, 4) = 33 cold damage. Reflex save DC 20 for half damage.

Tasha stands with her head bowed and shoulders hunched for a moment, breathing heavily. When she looks up, the scales are gone, but her expression is triumphant.
"Child of the Upper Realms," she calls to the Lantern Archon, "I thank you for your assistance. Return to your proper place in peace."
The Archon promptly vanishes in a swirl of colours.
"I shall have to acquire that spell in the normal fashion," the Wizard says, smiling. "Just in case the powers we gained from the heroes of yore are a loan, and not a gift. Well, then. It seems the enemy is aware that we have been put into play. We should hurry on our way."

You make it back to town without any further trouble, passing several other people fleeing the area as fast as they can as the volcano continues to rumble ominously.
You're escorted into the mayor's office, where you make a report. Looking troubled over the vagueness, she asks you to return in an hour -- she plans to assembles the town's sages, scholars, and ship captains in search of an answer. You have some time to purchase supplies before going on.
As you gather, things are looking grim as the assemblage tries to make sense of the oracle's words. Finally, a clerk staggers in bearing a moth-eaten roll of parchment. It describes a catastrophic eruption on an island southeast of Blackcrag Cove. The tattered manuscript lacks a date or name, but does tell of the miraculous cooling of the volcano’s fire.
A man, clearly a ship captain, speaks up.
"Aye, I've heard of a dead volcano in th'area. Most say t'avoid it's curse-d shores. Never heard of no Arakau, but most know it as Kraken's Maw, an account o' it looking like a big mouth."

"The'name's Amos Valgarave, capt'n o' the Nereid's Kiss. Got a good crew, dozen and a half, but I'll warn you now they ain't much good in a fight. We're traders, not pirates. I'll go get 'em ready to sail, you meet me there when yer ready."

Should there be even a simple shrine to Qi Zhong in town, Tasha will go there to drop a coin in the altar plate and ask for a blessing for the upcoming trip. If such a shrine is not available (Qi Zhong being a Tien deity), Tasha seeks out the nearest temple of Nethys for the same, though with more mixed feelings. Nethys is insane, after all...
"I have sailed, but not as a crew member," Tasha replies to the captain's question. "If nothing else, I can conjure elements of wave and wind and have them help -- for a while, at least."
