Do you mean I15? You can’t get to J15 without risking an AoO from goblin ‘P’ at K14. As Channel Energy is a burst and some of your allies are around corners from you, you are unlikely to be able to get everyone; from I15 your channel will help yourself, Yumiko, Marc, Xargin but miss Grendel and Tannithil. If you move to I14 you’ll get Grendel as well (other targets unchanged). Let me know which spot you prefer. Everyone affected is healed for 2.

Haelynn’s healing energy soothes the wounds of most of her companions (and a few nearby goblins).

Tannithil takes a cautious step to cut off any possible retreat for the goblin he faces, having seen so many of them run before when the odds turn against them.

Grendel moves in to flank the goblin, striking a minor hit

Marc strides along the rickety boardwalk, moving into striking range of the BigBad. He swings the hammer down at her, using it's reach to reach despite his higher position.

Both Grendel and Marc strike their targets causing minor wounds, but neither goblin is down.


The goblin spellcaster that is caught between Tannithil and Grendel steps into the corner of the room, holding aloft a salt-shaker that hangs on a leather strip around his neck, and once again calls on the power of Zarongel to strike the infidels.

He channels negative energy, this does not provoke an AoO. Grendel and Tannithil take 1d6 ⇒ 2 damage, Will Save DC 11 for half.


Reta steps back from Marc’s hammer, ducking back under the raised floor of the building and fires up at the cavalier. attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Going back through the posts from the start of the battle, I think he is on 5 of 11. He's taken 11 point of damage in total but benefited from 2 of Haelynn's positve channels for 5 points healed

Haelynn is casting cure light wounds on her sister.

The pain Yumiko has been feeling diminishes as her wounds heal.

Yumiko kisses her sister on the cheek as she squeezes past to take a up a new position on the platform. She calls out laughing "Ahahahahahaha! Looks like us has ta go on a killing spree!"

Sigh... these dice rolls...


Marc scrambles down from the walkway, keen to close the distance between Reta and ensure she can't easily slip away. He then swings out at her with his hammer, hoping for a better connection than his last strike.

Climbs down to H10, then attacks

Climb: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Climb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10 Damage: 1d12 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7


There is a loud retort from Yumiko’s weapon and an answering yelp from the veil-wearing goblin under the building (who is not tucked far enough under to much benefit from cover).


Marc hoists himself down onto the muddy ground and attacks, but his swing is wild, hitting only one of the timber supports holding up the building above.

Rita retreats from Marc’s hammer, ducking back into the darkness under the buildings and walkways. She uses a withdraw action to avoid AoOs and it will take a Perception check to spot her (assuming she is still within line of sight) in the cramped dark space underneath the buildings.

Xargin slowly slides down the wall of the hut, hands clutching at the gaping wound in his gut, as the world slowly starts to slip out of focus.

Marc supresses another curse as his hammer fails to connect with the elusive goblin, and instead trains his eyes on the dark under the buildings, intent on not allowing her to slip away again.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Not sharing her sister's enthusiasm for battle, Haelynn smiles briefly as her Yumi regains her strength. Glancing behind her, she sees Xargin slump against the wall of the crude hut.

Grasping her longspear, she charges the goblin...

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6


The goblin is skewered on Haelynn's spear. It writhes for a moment then is still.


Tannithil, Yumiko, Grendel and Marc.

Marc, a perception check to actively look for someone takes a move action and will happen on your turn. You can retain the roll you've already made.

Tannithil strikes at the goblin again, somewhat desperately now as he feels another wave of sickness wash over him.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10


Male Halfling Rogue (Scout)/1

Grendel strikes at the goblin, heartened by Tannithil's hit, hoping his own luck isn't running out.

Will use adaptable luck for this attack role - had completely forgotten about it up until this point.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5


Tannithil’s wakizashi slices off the top of the goblin’s head, leaving his steaming brain exposed to the air. The goblin glares at the elf in hate for a moment, then drops dead.

Grendel can save his luck and take another action if he likes.

Grendel nods his appreciation to Tannithil before peeking around the corner of the doorway, pressing himself into the shadows of the building.

Will try to hide, rolled a 9 above, plus 11 for stealth, giving me 20

Yumiko looks slightly disappointed all the goblins seemed to have been dealt with. She sneaks around to K9, watching out for any further threats.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
