Dakash and Pieter hear footsteps and sound of people cursing in the fog. "What deviltry is this mist? Men, proceed carefully and be ready for anything!"

"Oh no! It's the town watch!" The fencer exclaims. "Let's get the hell out of here!"

Both Halli and Larkin look for a way to get out of the alleyway.

Dakash - you have a single round, then they're both going to run for it.

Finding himself unthreatened, Dakash casts his touch of fatigue, then steps forward and attempts to deliver the spell on Larkin. With his other hand, he aims a blow with his staff.

Pieter grins at Dakash and stands menacingly, blocking the fencer's path of escape shoulder to shoulder.

pretty sure you are supposed to hold up your staff and say you shall not pass... :)

Larkin sidesteps the attempt to touch him and parries the staff blow. Then he runs for it.

He manages to get away

Halli - seeing the way blocked, runs into the mist and the party hears the sound of scuffling as Howard points her out as one of the bandits and she resists arrest.

Searching Deadre's dead body, Dakash and Pieter finds 2 red vials, a masterwork chain shirt, a short sword, dagger, gray mask, unholy symbol of Norgober, 28 gp.

Searching Ledford's body, Dakash and Pieter find another 2 red vials, a small masterwork chain shirt, a small greataxe, block of wax in a metal tin, fine comb with a long handle, bottle of whiskey and four silver cups, 25 gp.

Any actions before the town watch arrive? Otherwise I can just fast forward to it.

If Dakash uses that CLW potion on me I can use an extract on Seamus and we can all at least be conscious again lol

You feel yourself lose grip on Pieter's mind as your strength fades. You find yourself back above your own unconscious form, seeing everything in monochrome.

Yes, you get to 'see' the later part.

Pieter shakes his head and snaps out of his trance. "Ow..what exactly happened?" He gingerly examines his bleeding side, and he catches Seamus lying in his own blood, unconscious on the ground.

"Oh no! Seamus! Those ruffians got you! Please don't die!" Pieter cradles Seamus' head in his hands, then takes out a potion from his pocket and pours it down Seamus's throat.

CLW on Seamus: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Seeing Seamus still unresponsive, he pours another one down. "Come on, man, you're not going to give up like that, are you?" He urges the unconscious Seamus.

CLW on Seamus: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Seeing Seamus wake up, he heaves a sigh of relief. "Welcome back," He says to Seamus and helps Seamus to his feet before turning to examine Vincent's body.

Pieter checks for signs of life, finding Vincent still clinging on to the world of the living, then pours a potion down his throat.

Vincent you're staggered at 0 hp, but conscious

Vincent:

You see Pieter walk over to check on your vital signs, then pour a potion down your throat. You feel yourself being drawn to your body, then you awaken in the gutter with a piercing headache (consider that one in for overtaxing your psychic sensitivity - you're fatigued) , and your chest wound still partially healed, and hurting each time you draw breath.

Seeing Vincent's eyes flicker open, Pieter asks concerned, "Are you all right?"

Vincent gasps a weak "Thank you," and reaches into his pockets, fumbling about until he finds some herbs to shove in his wound. Extract:CLW

I think you take 1hp damage from acting while staggered, does that happen if above 0 after the action? Ie am I at 3hp or 4hp? :)

Howard leads the guards out of the mist.

The guards have the woman in a green dress in tow, tied up and unconscious with a lump on her temple. The head guardsman addresses the party, "This man said there were bandits a costing people. We caught one trying to run away in the mist. Did you see the others?"

You're at 3 hp, you drop to negs on doing the action, but action still takes place. Like what Ledford did. No matter since scenario has ended

Vincent applies the herbs to his chest wound, the pain making him black out briefly before the herbs take effect and he regains consciousness in the alleyway with Pieter giving him a worried look.

Vincent nudges the cleric with his foot, tossing the unholy symbol to the guard speaking.

"And that one." he says, nodding over his shoulder at the halfling.

He shakes Pieter's hand, thanking him for his aid. "Nice hook."

The guards check on Deadre, but she is clearly dead. They put her body in a sack,”We’ll just dump her in the pauper’s grave.” They stabilize Ledford, then tie him up. ”And this one will have 10 lashes and a long time cooling off in jail.”

”Huh? What did I do?” Pieter looks at Vincent, puzzled. ”I mean it was like I sort of lost track of a few moments someplace…you seem familiar, though.”

”But I’ll take that thanks anyway. For the potion if nothing else. And you really shouldn't be moving that much while that badly wounded. Though you look better now.”


Retired to Taldor?

'Huh, I must have been attacked.' looking at his recovering wounds, smiling to the monk, "thanks Pieter."

Looking at his associates he shrugs, "It's a good thing Pieter came along..."

Seeing the officers bringing the lady in the green dress. Seamus approaches them. "good day officers, I'm Seamus Passeri of the Karcau Passeri's." He begins to check his pouch and pockets. "I believe some of my things were taken, do you mind if I check your prisoner for my items?"

Retcon

On Halli, Seamus finds 2 red vials, 1 scroll with a burning hand drawing on it, one scroll with a drawing of a shield on it, one scroll with a drawing of a ghostly blob of force on it, and a wand, a dagger, a light crossbow with 20 bolts, a fan of pigeon feathers, a small pouch of trimmed fingernails and 53 gp.

Once the guards have left, Pieter takes out a sack containing Deadre and Ledford's belongings."Sort of like old times. Footpads try to mug you, so you beat em up and take their stuff. Right. That's the way things are supposed to be." Pieter grins at Seamus.

Vincent raises an eyebrow, Sensitive indeed. he shrugs to Pieter, "Must be from when we purchased the elephant that you recognize me."

Vincent nods, grateful for the increased protection. He informed them of their destination on Iris hill, watching to see if he reacts. If not, he points the way, following after Dakash and holding his chest as he does.

The party returns to Iris Hill, slightly battered, but with their objectives achieved.Pieter leaves as soon as he sees the party through the gates, not wanting to have ANYTHING to deal with Iris Hill.

The bald burly man takes the books from party,”Well done.” He compliments the party. ”Didn’t think that you lot had it in you. It seems you work well as a team.”

”I am Thomas, and the Count will see you now. There are matters of portentous importance to discuss…” He then leads the party up the stairs…

And the screen fades to black
