Half-Elf Investigator (Bonded) 5 / Magus (VMC); HP 40/40, Init +1, Perception +16, AC 17/FF 16/T 11, +1 vs traps; Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +5, +1 vs traps; CMB +7, CMD 18; Inspiration (1d6+1) 5/5; Arcane Pool (+2) 4/5;

Vincent squats and, relieved, begins putting his belongings back on his person, whistling to the others and indicating bags of their stuff as well. He also looks over the goblets with names. "I guess the amnesia is real. I thought you all looked familiar, this proves it."

He tosses the goblets to the 'touched' singer, and after finding the MW viol offers it to him, "Is this yours?"

He listens to the orderly as he works the area over and grunts. I am definitely not insane. Someone put us here.

He goes over to inspect the corpses and any wounds they may have. Finding any dressed in unusual garb or doctor attire, he starts prodding and feeling the contours of their skull. Phrenology: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 7 + (5) = 15 Looks like just race age and gender, alignment if 0 level

As Vincent goes over to the corpses - he sees a black cat chained to a post, meowing piteously at him. Vicnent realizes its Fluffy!

The small reptile with a snake-like neck and head, a bird-like body and a whip like tail, chained to a wooden post, also squawks at him.

Strange Aeons Map Strange Aeons On going: The Thrushmoor terror| Loot sheet

Vincent examines the bodies - the bodies are that of adults (20-40 years), mix of male and female and are mostly dressed in plain, white uniforms that buttons in the front. There are none in doctors outfits there.

He also suspects that the bodies, lying there for so long are in some form of decomposition and may carry disease.

Do you want to search the bodies?

Half-Elf Investigator (Bonded) 5 / Magus (VMC); HP 40/40, Init +1, Perception +16, AC 17/FF 16/T 11, +1 vs traps; Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +5, +1 vs traps; CMB +7, CMD 18; Inspiration (1d6+1) 5/5; Arcane Pool (+2) 4/5;

Vincent unties fluffy and the other creature (this one more cautiously).

Not wanting to catch anything, he uses his long spear to move the bodies around and look for anything of interest.

Afterwards he nods to Dakash, "It looks like the furnace chute is passable as well. It might be safer than following that creature."

The other creature makes a bee line for Howard, squeaking happily.

Yes, Howard, you got your little mean and green dinosaur back

Fluffy curls around Vincent's legs and purrs.

Searching the bodies yield 15 gp worth of stray coins and cheap jewelry.

Vincent uses a rag from the other chamber to collect the spare coinage, dropping them into a pouch tied up.

He then goes to check out the chute.

However, they also make some noise in the attempt, and from beneath the boilers, two filthy rats size of small dogs with coats of coarse fur a long and scabby tails, and two glittering eyes squeak at the party angrily, followed by a tiny creature with a pair of green luminous eyes, a rat’s tail, simian appendages, and tendrils extending from a mole-like nose.

'Hmmm, I think he picked up the 'Vincent' cup.While speaking to the orderly, Seamus watches out of the corner of his eye as the half elf explores and then determines that the furnace chute is accessible. He nods his head, "Tha sounds like a good Idea, I don't want to follow that THING." He turns to the orderly, "Your coming along right?"

'I like this Vincent, he doesn't mind doing the scary stuff first.' He climbs the vent, then sees the rats and the scary ugly nasty creature.

"What is that?" His hand starting to twitch, Seamus fires his bow twice bouncing the arrows into the corner to be hopefully found later.

never mind the attack, it's rolled already :-)

Sorry - wasn't sure if you would manage the post before you headed to work - and wanted to give Dakash + Vincent a chance to get moving before bed

”We’re in the boiler room,” Campre informs the party. ”To the staff offices – you’ll want to go out of the door, then head north, and it’s the third door on the right.”

Then he notices the rats, and looks nervously at them, ”And I didn’t know rats get that big,” and he notices the zoog savage Vincent’s cat, his eyes widen in alarm, as he points frantically at it, ”And what the hell is that thing?!”
