Male Wood Elf Ranger (Master of the Hunt)/1

initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

I'm hardly an armored bloke, but I'll go in, given the go ahead from the rest of the party.

Male Goblin Cave Druid 1

initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Female Catfolk Monk

Initative

1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

Sorry, that roll was initiative, I just forgot to label it.

Male Halfling Summoner 1

Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Male Wood Elf Domain Cleric/1

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

1d1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

You also get a surprise round as the bandits rolled really low on Perception. You can see four of them in the room, sitting on cloth mats. The room also has rolled up bed rolls and a chest.

Male Wood Elf Ranger (Master of the Hunt)/1

"Charge!"
Charge closest bandit
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (5, 4) + 7 = 16
Sorry about the out of order, wont be able to post again today

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

Swift action to give Quarterstaff +1 via arcane pool, 3/4 remaining "Stay where you are, criminal scum!"

Charging attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 4 + 2 = 15

2h damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Female Catfolk Monk

Scorn charges one of the men

Attack

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Damage

1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

Charge is a standard action in the surprise round, but you can only move equivalent to one movement action.

Only the first two to enter the room can charge, as only those two will have a clear line to the opponent.

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

Alright. Then I'm good.

Encounter Map

b=bandits x=pit trap

You guys should determine you're marching order as well.

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

You need to set permissions to allow anyone with the link to edit it.

I meant, tell me you're marching order and I'll edit the map to reflect it.

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

I can't even see the map. At least, you need to change permissions so that we can see it. All I know is that I'm in front.

You should be able to see it now.

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

I can see it now. You may want to enlarge the squares, and label the bandits b1, b2, etc.

Male Goblin Cave Druid 1

I'd start on G3 and moves down one, left one then diagonally down left to end up on E5 if that's okay and attack bandit 3.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Really crap rolls for everyone I guess?

Male Wood Elf Domain Cleric/1

Seeing that the room his companions are assaulting is quite small, Onnam doesn't enter the room right away but moves next to the doorway and makes sure none leave the room who're not with his group.

OOC:

Ready action, after a possible AoO, Onnam will persue any bandit trying to flee the scene.

Male Human Rogue (knife master) 1

Initiative Check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

I'll be in the main back of the group. Move action to draw my bow, letting my daggers hit the floor, and standard to shoot the first visible bandit I see.

Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
Confirmiation: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Bow damage 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Critical dice 2d6 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6
Sneak attack if within 30ft 1d4 ⇒ 3

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

I'll start in G4, moving up to E3 to meet with Bandit 1. My attack/damage rolls are above.

I'll wait one more day for those who haven't acted, or who need to change they action because they're previous one is not valid (Scorn and Ranorel, since they can't charge), then I'll eithet skip they're turns, or alter they're action to the closest one they are actually able to do.

Male Wood Elf Ranger (Master of the Hunt)/1

Starting in F4, 5ft step to E4 and attack bandit 3
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (2, 2) + 7 = 11
or not

Female Catfolk Monk

Scorn moves in either to flank or set up a charge (whichever seems more doable)

Roakrak moves in a strikes the bandit hard with his staff. The bandit falls to his knees, but remains conscious.

Scorn attempts to slip behind the bandits 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11, but can't find an opening, so instead she approaches the nearest one.

Ranorel approaches one of the bandits and swings his earthbreaker. However, the mighty swing cannot connect.

Onnam moves to block the bandits' escape.

Zaggle'bo attempts to move to E5, but Scorn has already taken that spot.

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

On his turn, Roakrak hits the man again with his quarterstaff, intent on giving no mercy.

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

1d6 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Jeez. Talk about no mercy.

Indeed. Roakrak strikes the bandit on the head twice. The bandit falls to the floor, dead.

Male Wood Elf Ranger (Master of the Hunt)/1

on His turn Ranorel attacks b3 again
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23
damage: 2d6 + 7 ⇒ (6, 1) + 7 = 14

attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 confirmation
damage: 4d6 + 14 ⇒ (5, 6, 2, 5) + 14 = 32

Dang, really wanted to employ my x3 crit

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

Sorry, that wasn't two hits, that was a critical hit. I just forgot to label them.

Male Goblin Cave Druid 1

I'll step to G3 and ready an action to attack a bandit trying to flee also.

Male Wood Elf Domain Cleric/1

Easy with those 20's!

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

So many 20s. Good thing they're on this side of the screen. :P

Female Catfolk Monk

Scorn also moves to cut off any escape.

Male Human Rogue (knife master) 1

Slipping into the room unnoticed, Lan lets loose the arrow he'd notched earlier.

Move into H3 and fire at b3 using the attack I declared earlier.

Lan shoots a bandit in the throat. He goes down and his blood begins to pool on the ground.

Ranorel strikes the bandit full on the chest with his earthbreaker. His rib cage shatters under the blow and the bandit falls to the ground, where he lays still.

Only one bandit remains, and he throws up his hands. "I surrender!"

Male Wood Elf Ranger (Master of the Hunt)/1

Ranorel readies his weapon to strike the bandit before turning to the party

"hmm, I forget, are we taking prisoners today?"

Male Wood Elf Domain Cleric/1

With a pleased look at the group's combat performance, Onnam smiles at Ranorel:

"Well, I don't think we've decided yet. Let's see."

Onnam turns his attention to the remaining bandit.

"Bandit, name your last three crimes and tell us what you regret about committing those."

OOC:

Sense Motive to spot lies: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

Male Human Rogue (knife master) 1

Lan glances around cautiously, notching another arrow for safety's sake.

"Let's speed this along, I feel like we're being watched.."

"I've done lots of things I'm not proud of, but I did them to survive. If you want some real villains go fight the bandits on the level below this one. They're crazy!"

Male Goblin Cave Druid 1

"I don't care either way. Lets not sit around all day though!"

Zaggle yips as he snacks on some rations.

Male Wood Elf Domain Cleric/1

"Yes Zaagle'Bo, there's so much more to see. Let's not waste too much of our time here.

Onnam turns to the bandit:

"What's in that chest?"

Onnam points to the trapped chest.

Male Wood Elf Ranger (Master of the Hunt)/1

"Sorry no prisoners today."
Can i Coup de Grace the bandit? That would make me so very happy.

Coup de Grace Damage6d6 + 21 ⇒ (3, 2, 5, 1, 6, 1) + 21 = 39

otherwise
Attack1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Damage2d6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 1) + 7 = 12

The bandit is dead.

So what do you do? Check the chest in the bandits room?

Male Human Magus (Staffbound) 1

Well, that's helpful, Ranorel.

I gues if you really want to know what's inside, Onnam, the only way to find out now is to look.

Male Wood Elf Domain Cleric/1

Shocked, Onnam looks at Ranorel first and then to Roakrak.

"What the...!"

Quickly he regains his calm and takes a deep breath before he speaks again.

"The road to our afterlife sometimes ends earlier than we expect."

Ignoring Ranorel for now, he turns his attention to Lan:

"If you want, you can still try to disarm that trap. Can we help?"

Male Wood Elf Ranger (Master of the Hunt)/1

Well I did promise Gark that I would kill his masters, I had to lie to one of them and I figure the bandit had it coming.
