--Resolved the Mounted Archer feat switch: moved Combat Reflexes back to level 4 Samurai feat to replace Mounted Archer, changed the lvl 7 feat to Bodyguard as fitting her position previous to being a guard.
--Resolved the Ancestral Weapon: +1 keen Allying Heart-Seeker
--Level 11 feat is Toughness (gives 11 hp)
--Gained Honorable Stand
Total HP now 128
Will finish leveling tomorrow. still deciding on a feat...

To clear up one more thing, Boss. The Pink-haired Man said to meet him about an hour before the state dinner, before your alien abduction. The Pink-haired Man just now says to meet him in an hour, which would require a) for me to have to do something stupid, or b) for that to be a glitch and you didn't really mean for Imuri to miss the state dinner.
Is the Pink-haired Man's comment literal and his timing intentional?
People are still planning on making the dinner? Optimistic! There are about 8 things that Azami needs to do before going to that State dinner...and here we are in the Undercity.

Even though I reckon I already know the answer, I'll make my usual pitch; My buddy Graham and I are once again running a two-night invite-only super-awesome PFR game at GenCon. Our players once again include badasses like RPG Superstar winner Steve Helt and finalist Scott Fitzgerald and various luminaries from the Iron GM contingent as well as other rad longtime gamers. This year's adventure is an underwater campaign set in a free-for-all pirate city. If any of you are going to Con, you are officially invited to play in this campaign. I'd love to meet you, hang out, and run a game for you IRL. :-)
I'm unable to make the trip to GenCon this year (though I hold out hope that I will in a year or two). I plan on driving up to Tulsa at some point in the next few months to help Steve playtest his Bitter Manor module, though.

Tokine-the inspector is unconscious. That's info that was for my eyes only, and I neglected to have Azami mention he was unconscious.
Argh, I saw references to the Inspector, but not his state....I thought only Swift needed attention.

Yeah, cho's status wasn't mentioned save in a spoiler to me. I had Azami direct the curator to assist him but didn't mention he was unconscious. Sorry.
What is seen: there were two imperial guards in a cell next to the prince; Azaminis treating them as though they were the prince's guards and asked them why they were here and unhurt. (Did they not defend him? That's basically her question.) The guards are unharmed and just walked out oddly silently when Kyras opened the door. Cho is unconscious in the next cell.
Also, I am waiting for a response from the prince and the GM's statement of how old he looks. Then Azami will have a response for Tokine.
Her little episode with the Inspector actually works better with him unconscious. So it is all good. Saves face that way.
Yeah, Tokine is definitely confused. She raises a huge army to fight to the heart of the enemy and save her friend, and...they just find what they need. A good defensive strategy I guess when you know trouble is coming, leave your garage door open so thieves rob that and leave your house alone.
Yeeeeeah, Azami is betting less on "oh lucky thing we found them basically not guarded" and more "something here is not ok". PERHAPS the Elder Sera sufficiently drew the guard with her stand at the river?
And exactly what you said - the purported goal has been achieved: find Rhon's soul. But a number of them have other reasons to fight the Plum Blossom Syndicate. Azami's gotta choose between vengeance and duty and perceived geas/prophecy. Fun! (and add in that she's not the brilliant sort that would pause to puzzle out all the details...)
DRA: It also occurs to me that I might have had Azami respond to a typo. "He asks" could have been the prince asking, not words he said. Soooo. If that's the case, Azami's original question to the Prince stands: How long have you been imprisoned? with the added, Are you unhurt?
HA HA. Nice Kyras. You and Wei were specifically meant to be includes in the "And the rest" (as sung in the Gilligan's Island Theme) but Tokine is really laying it on those with specific defined Duty to the Emperor.
But to her you will always be welcome on her island as her...
I chuckled at this and totally caught that Tokine was directing to people perceived to have duties to the Empire.

Mrs. Howell seems rather appropriately elegant enough for Tokine.
I'm treating Azami's activity as pre-initiative, with the thought that initiative was starting after after people "reacted" to what was happening. But if that's too much, feel free to use it as her first round of battle. Here's hoping that Azami still has the heat resistance from before.
It looks like Initiative outside the center room is the following order:
Tokine
Chu
Azami
Kyras.
Not yet determined initiatives for Wei, Vampire, Envoy 6. And boy, if he gets one.
