On a side note, house rules! And other such nonesense! Full auto and semi auto shooting are -10 and -5 respectfully, actually gives single aimed shots a bleeding purpose. Double barrelled shoguns have semi auto firing 2. Compacting a magazine fed weapon doesn't half it's ammo capacity. If you have the only war book you'll see there's a plethora of weapon customization options, I will be using those... Because they're awesome. I love making custom guns so be prepared to see ten billion autogun variants. Also don't expect to get away with abusing 'forget me' or other such psyker powers to do things such as but not limited to stealing several hundred thrones worth of equipment from a store... You know what event I'm referring to aeon, and I still say you let us off way too lightly for it. Finally, word of advice, you get one reaction per combat round, think like freaking neo! Dodge them bullets/mono bayonettes/alien tiger claws!

Hey fellow acolytes. I only have the Dark Heresy core rulebook, but I'd be interested in taking a look at a different book with a few more player options.
Does anyone have any suggestions for such a book, especially one for good tech-priest options: e.g. interesting tech, bionics etc.

No problem, take your time dude. As for books, I'd recommend the Inquisitor's handbook and only war. Only war's basically the newest edition of the ruleset but optimised for a war scenario, and it's got a lot of improved rules, as well as some nifty weapon customization stuff. In all honesty I wouldn't buy it just for the supplementary material though, I'm pretty open to weapon customization, and if you can come up with your own that makes sense, then I will gladly stat it up for you and throw out a price.

I've been updating my character sheet with the spoils of battle!
Am I right in thinking a las charge pack holds equal rounds to a clip for my las weapons? So, having fired twice in the battle, one of my four carbine charge packs now holds 38 of 40 shots, whilst the rest are full?
Can charge packs be interchanged between different guns of the same type (e.g. las carbine pack used with a las pistol)? Can they be recharged, and if so, how?
I'm going to say pistol and rifle chargepacks are not interchangeable.
