--I have been hit with the chance of a life time...no work from Sunday until Friday, (Sunday being JUly 1st. I hope you can accept I have plans to travel which will make posting impossible. Thanks for understanding.)
There's no actual rule for it regarding hit points, since it's not a damage roll.
My preference is to treat it like NPC or monster hit dice: Round after totalling all your hit dice.
This means a d6 hit die class starts with 6 hp, then gains 3 hp on even levels and 4 hp on odd levels. Overall, it averages to 3.5 (the true average of d6).
I may not be able to level up until Friday. I have no internet at home right now until then and I am unable to sign into the site from work. Would hate to try and update my character sheet on my phone :(

@DM: We have already talked about me using the executioner ability instead of the bravery ability. Before I finalized this decision I wanted to make sure you were okay using the massive damage optional rule:
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook, Page 189 wrote:
Massive Damage(Optional Rule)
If you ever sustain a single attack that deals an amount of damage equal to half your total hit points (minimum 50 points of damage) or more and it doesn't kill you outright, you must make a DC 15 Fortitude Save. If this saving throw fails, you die regardless of your current hit points. If you take half your total hit points or more in damage from multiple attacks, no one of which dealt more than half your current hit points (minimum 50), the massive damage rule does not apply.
It won't apply for a little while, because right now the best I could possibly do in a single attack is 42 points of damage and nothing we are facing at this level is likely to survive that anyway. However, I still wanted to make sure you were okay using it.
It's not likely to be an issue for a while, but I prefer not to have the massive damage rule. After a certain level (depending on party makeup, around levels 5 to 10), pretty much every attack invokes the fort save so it means there's at least a 1 in 20 chance (automatic failure of the fort save) of creatures dying instantly.
I don't think every attack would invoke the fort save. By the time we reach a level where either we or the enemy could consistently deal 50 damage, we would hopefully have more than 100 hit points. I haven't played a campaign that's made it past level 10 or so in a long time, but if it does become a problem we can always renegotiate it then, can't we?
It's more a case with multiple opponents of lower CR. I saw a level 9 fighter kill 3 hill giants in one round due to some failed saves vs massive damage. That game promptly dropped the massive damage rule.
Well, I have two questions. The first is: would it not be reasonable to run with it for now and re-evaluate later if it becomes a problem? The second is: why wouldn't you want that to happen? It sounds awesome. Plus, it would have to have been a pretty rare occurrence, not only for a 9th level fighter to do that much damage three times in a single round, but for the DM to roll less than three on three Fort saves in a row.
In the end, it's up to Nick and I don't want to push this if the rest of the party is against it. I just think the rule is pretty balanced and kind of fun. I just want to know if we are going to use it because an optional ability for me increases the DC for saves against massive damage I cause which is useless if we aren't going to use massive damage.
-Even without the massive damage rule, a fight that was supposed to be epic turned into a one-hit wonder via the Orc axe.
-If it becomes a game-breaking issue, I'll change it...but for now I'm not worried. If things get ugly I'll just let Roh-Kai respect the character.

-Attention everybody
I will be on vacation for August, and also changing jobs. I'm moving from Harbin to Changchun. Anyway for the month my internet access, and living conditions will be in flux. I'm also planning to travel a bit. I'd like to say the game is not dead. I'll send you all a PM when I'm back.
-Thanks for playing and check back late August/Early September-
So, I know that with the DM on vacation this isn't really that pertinent, but tomorrow the navy will send me to foreign shores for a yet unknown period of time. I'll check in as often as I can, but I don't know how much access I'll have yet. It's been a lot of fun playing with this group and I should be back by late october.
GEN CON!!!!! I'll be there from wednesday night til sunday so I won't be able to post during that time. Just giving ya'll a heads up and is anybody else going? GEN CON!!!!!!
