Delilah speaks Well that bizzare out burst aside, it sounds like you would like the flat fee. I cannot say that I blame you. However, if we continue to work together we can certainly reevealuate the next contract.
She smiles, then grimaces
Excuse me. Don will be back with the paper work once he finishes the dishes.
Then she, and Alex slump to the table.

"W..w..what the..." the clerics voice trails off as he leaps toward towards the slumping folks. He checks the pulse of Alex....then Deliah.
Both are alive, but they are definitely poisoned

"Gods damn this!" - Reknar roars, moving to check Alex and Delilah - "Galen! Thorin! Find that bastard!"

In a corrective manner Nic corrects Reknnar, "Iomedae 'ad nothin' to do with this...more like Norgorb'r or Lamashtu...less'r gods, you know." The cleric felt this was a time for education. He exhales, "Delilah should be guud fer a tithe." Always thinking about the church. He proceeds to make her vomit.
Thorin is not sure where he has gone, however there is a door to the outside and a staircase going up and down
"Lesser gods damn this then" - Reknar chuckles, then goes to the door to check on Thorin, all teh while keeping an eye on Alex and Delilah - "Thorin?! Anything?!"

When Galen sees his allies fall, he rushes after the manservant without so much as an "I told you so"
"I'll take the outside door. You go up!" he says to Thorin. "Cry out if you spy him. He may be a change-a-thingy so he might look different."
Galen rushes to the outside door and throws it wide, longsword in hand, looking for anyone moving in the street outside.

"There stabilized...now, lets find out what's happenin' 'round 'ere."

Nic picks up his Morningstar and advances after Galen.

Thorin races up the stairs and finds a small office with a door into a bedroom
Galen holds his head and looks up. He sees that there could be Don moving either up or down the street

Galen-That should say that you see two people moving up and down the street, either could be Don by the size and shape
Reknar looks around, not wanting to leave them alone - "Anyone can double back on us, and take them out" - he snarls at the dwarf, standing up and moving to the door, but not leaving.
Nic follows after Galen as quickly as his short legs will take him.

Galen hears the voice again, but cannot bring himself to listen to it. He hastily apologizes to the man he accosted, making some lame excuse for nearly running him through, then looks wildly about for Don.
"If he is shape-shifter, he could be anywhere!" says Galen to himself morosely, as he sees the futility of the search.
Nic chases after the other person. Once he catches up and grabs at him trying to turn the individual around. "STOP!"
Reknar grunts his dissatisfaction with the situation - not wanting to leave the two women alone, he just stands there. On watch.
"Gods damn this..." - he mutters.
Nic spins his person around, upon closer inspection it is clearly not Don. He is too young. The young man looks quite startled.
Thorin, going through Don's desk does find a ledger, it would appear that the ammmount of money coming into the business changed about 6 weeks ago.

He frowned looking over the ledger. He wondered why the figures suddenly changed about 6 weeks back. He looked through the desk to palm something anything to make it worth his while then took the ledger downstairs to the others left behind. Maybe the merchant woman would be able to explain what happened six weeks ago, perhaps it might help them figure out why her hired man turned on her and them.
Nic's brow scrunches suspiciously as he stares the young man. He studies the bewildered face for a moment when he Galen's voice pierces the tension. "Guud...have a guud day. 'ere 'ave a cigar." he hands the young man a fresh cigar for his trouble.
Eventually, he turns heads towards Galen.
