My ladyfriend was diagnosed with cancer in her lady parts friday...and they are still waiting the results for her stomach, intestines and other lower parts.
Goodnews is, if... its just confined to the ladypart region, outlook is good, if its in the other stuff.. well not so good. But she is strong and im a hopeful optimist so . . .I will still be about and continue on, but if you dont hear from me for a few days, please just message me and remind me. Sort of brain addled at the moment and distracted

Conditions are breaking down around here now. The storm made landfall below us, so I'm hoping an a bit weaker Cat 1 storm.
Ok, we are living in a hotel right now as power is restored to my house. Fortunately, I'm not exactly suffering but it is an inconvenience.
My plan is to move home today since power was restored last night. I should get a post up later.
Nic, good to hear things are getting back on track - was your home much affected?
My house was fine, we lost a palm tree and there was some minor tree debris around the yard. No power for 5 days so there was some lost food from the fridges/freezers. We did manage to get most of the items to my office fridge which did not lose power. Although my office didn't lose power, I did have some water intrusion there which meant the carpet was pulled up and some restoration work. Fortunately, I was able to close the office and pay my staff for the 6 days we were closed. There are quite a few people that are not as well off.

No but there are rooms that can be searched more if you wanted
