Well I believe there is a scroll of reincarnate around here, but as for the resurrection I would talk to one of the parties you have already made contact with.

If you are interested in stopping Jahvul then you should seek the azer Artel Norrin.
She explains that, before Andrathi came to her, he had
sheltered for a time with the azer, and during that time
learned that Artel resented the incursion of Jhavhul and
his army into Kakishon and was secretly working on a
weapon to be used against him, but whether he finished
the weapon or even still survives

Before they leave Zephyr asks the Skull to activate the scroll, who agrees.

In a moment the body of Kix is gone and next to it a goblin looking creature, with a light white fur and a zigzagging tail stands

One moment you are standing and happy at your incredible intelligence and ability to avoid the stupid trap that is obvously on that door, then the next you see Zephyr pushing on the door, next thing you know you find yourself in a huge maze, with a strange desire to find the huge piece of cheese somewhere. The maze is simple for you, how anyone could think it could stop you, then you come to a wall, the cheese is at the top. You can't get there! If only you had a tail...why oh why don't you have a tail....then you find yourself on the floor and you have a tail...

Oh my, this is most distressing. I seem to have come back as a...as a... he swallows, monkey goblin.

His ears droop, his eyes well with tears and his lower lip juts out and begins to quiver.

This is...oh dear.

Soon enough however he straightens up and adjusts his hat.

Well, what's done is done. This will make it hard on all of you, I know. Please continue to think of me as you friend, Kixzik Andoranman - a human merchant from Andoran. Perhaps I will manage to discover a way to reverse this process.

Curiously when he moves his tail remains still, not wagging like most monkeys or other beings with tails.

You put his body in a bag? That's...both economical and horrifying in equal measure.

Kixzik will transfer all of his gear back to himself with a sad face when looking at his former, beautiful body.

He'll pull out a vial of alchemist's fire and burn his old corpse in sorrow.

Now, we must hurry and find a way to revive Churley. He's important to my pla-er, his friendship is important to me.

The horn is blown and the boat returns, the horn then crumbles to dust.

It takes about a day to get there, if you choose not to sleep on the boat let me know and you arrive as the sun goes down the next day. The island is utterly barren, with the exception of siege engines all of the place, the remnants of a battle, though with the strange lack of bodies or bones anywhere.


Zephyr will sleep on the boat.

"This place is charming..." Zephyr says flatly. "Where are all the bodies?"

Given the nature of this plane I rather suspect that this island was used for a game somewhat like chess by Nex and whomever he deigned to invite here. The siege engines could have moved by magic or the people used consumed somehow. Still, best to be on our guard.

Kid sees nothing of concern other than the massive black spire in the center of the island, which he guides his allies to effortlessly, though he does keep stopping to give churley commands...before he remembers.

Churley if you want a reincarnation...I am happy to make that happen

An immense spike of sheer, solid rock with narrow grooves
spiraling up its entire length protrudes from the ground.
Driven deep in the heart of a hilltop at the center of the
island, the spike rises to a height of at least one hundred
feet. The spike impales the petrified ribcage of an enormous
draconic beast, its stony ribs themselves over twenty feet
high. Scattered nearby are other fragments of the colossal
skeleton—bits of wing, legs, and to the south of the spire, an
immense horned skull. The spire widens at the top like the
knob of some brobdingnagian club, and the top is slightly
jagged, as though pieces have been broken off.

Does the spire look like it would harm me if I tried to climb it?

you are about 500 feet away, after a long stare you see what looks like they might be steps spiraling up around the sides. It should be a simple thing to climb them.

It would appear that this spire actually impaled some kind of massive beast. Like a spear dropped from the heavens...interesting.

We must be done with this place soon, then find a way towards the faction leaders to raise Churley.

Noting Beatrice's sniffing, and the flurry of movement, Seif-al-Din draws his bow, and prepares to fire on whatever shows itself (if it seems hostile).

"We cannot let anything stop us... Churley needs us!"

Having been in a PbP where I was a sorceror hit by a Feeblemind, and then having to wait weeks (IRL) for it to be fixed, so that I could actually do anything, I understand Churley's pain at present, and want to get his little 'death' problem fixed.


Zephyr is visible pale and queasy within the magic-dead zone. She shuffles along as quickly as she can. "The sooner we're free of this place the better", she adds.
