Before we go knocking on the door, can someone remind me why we are here? What are we looking for? What is our plan?
I may be a little late, but did we rest, heal, resupply? Plus, I would love it if we could return Tram unharmed to Miss Tarvi at least once.
Tramtris Arvanxi |
Could we perhaps heal it? Find someone who speaks its language Maybe's its mad? Are their magics that can help. We should ask Miss Tarvi, assuming she is speaking to me at the moment.
He began not really looking forward to dealing with assassiny like charecters at the moment, perhaps they were open to swooning over Audi?
Exxor |
Will Miss Tarvi be more upset by the fact we are off to a building full of women....or that we are off to a building full of assassins?
I don't know about "healing" it, but perhaps Miss Hippa could tell us if it is anything more than a gruesome alarm.
Miro Took |
Miro politely knocks upon the door. Sisters of Eiseth, my employers wish to petition your group for a favor and arrange a meeting to discuss it. We bring gifts of tokens of good faith including a symbol of your most respected order who would be most appreciative of being amongst those who would grant her the respect she deserves.

Time for some aids, peeps.
Exxor |
Do we have a Plan C? I'd like to explore Plan C, or perhaps even a Plan D? I don't really want to go trying to storm the building full of assassins.Exxor twitches, and casts a look to Audi, Tram and Hippa. I am with you if we do this, but Heavens help us, as I am sure the Abyss is on their side.
Hippa |
"may I suggest we bring the old pathfinder to the ghost seeing sage? The sisters arent going anywhere and now we are on their awareness list. This was our introduction. Their turn to research us. We should go. Too long in front of a business of ill-repute will cast shadows upon our own fame.
Hippa heads away chattering with her familiar Suki about where to get the next set of ingredients. She wants to try a darkvision potion next.
Hippa |
Hippa stops chattering in midsentence and gives you a look that the Sisters would trademark.
Suki the Familiar lets loose a growl unbecoming for a cat.
Hippa speeds up her short-legged walk and stiffly puts a little more distance between her and Miro
Hippa |
She slows down abruptly, tapping her little feet impatiently. The look on her face familiar to everyone about to be reprimanded/schooled by their mother. Suki, with slight twitches to her tail, communicates complete disdain.
"Several things we could be doing better to prepare, shed less blood, continue to establish our presence as a force of goodwill and community unity.
1) Build formal representation or point of contact. The sisters' now know of us. They will contact us, or not. But they will do it after their own prep. Let us keep that head under wraps. The rumor on that might intrigue them.
2) I didn't spend the last few month out of circulation learning about brewing potions for simple hangover cures. I want to issue you all a small bandolier of potions to use at your own discretion, but especially when we are about to do an aggressive recovery or put ourselves willingly into danger. My first endeavor with the Torchbearers we almost died because only Brannock could see in pitch dark. Now I can capture the essence of Darkvision in a bottle, among other things like (cough)Cure Wounds(cough).
3) Speaking of which, I need an ingredient from one of those shadowbeasts. We should see if we could get an adult shadowbeasts for me and afterwards use it as an offering/payment to the Sage for information or talk to Pathfinder bust before we have to return it. Plus, publicly, it shows the community we have not forgotten our reason, our original purpose of protecting the community. We could eventually use this as an excuse to maintain a vigilance on the Pathfinder Lodge.
4) Lastly, a way of private preparation to avoid the eyes of the Hellknights. Be it establishing random safehouses in other parts of the city via networking or outright short term leases and mapping out the sewers so we are not walking into a worse situation. I want multiple exits should we end up on the losing side.
So... The Sisters' have been around a while. They can wait. Bandolier of potions for each of you sooner rather than me scrambling to patch ya later. A return to our origins of community service. Knowledge of the city, topside and underbelly. Capisce?
Miro Took |
I think the Sisters are really something that needs to be solved with an axe to the face. I'm serious, we presented ourselves and requested to meet with them and were told to get out or die, so trying to negotiate is a dead end.
Potions sound good.
Shadowbeast? I guess we could go to hunting. Maybe check the academy if anyone ahs written down information about them.
Isn't there the old temple and the hideout of the Bastiches we have already? It takes plenty of money to set those up. I have about...seventy gold left on me.
Hippa |
"Yes. The temple is where I have draped all the flags on the bell tower. The basement of the temple was the hideout, now storage and out-of-site training space. One of the outbuilding is where we currently find respite and part lab for me.
I was referring to finding sympathetic allies in other parts of the city we might be able to borrow a shop key or spare bedroom to sequester outselves in should we need to abide by curfews of patrolling Hellnights. Nothing suspicious about the lot of us wandering fully armed, beatup and confronting a fresh patrol. I am disinclined to speak to them at my best hour much less dragging ass and berating Tramtris over his continued insistence at blood letting. Perhaps less gold and more a trading of favors and trust. Perhaps your contacts could be developed.
Exxor |
Considering the head came from the Crux hidden in the Knot of Asmodeus, IF the city officials or Church of Asmodeaus is aware of it, having it resurface will be a red flag and set them on the trail of those that liberated it. And that would be us, so giving it to a group even less likely to go running the Hellknights would be a good plan. Hopefully, there isn't anyone actively looking for it.
Do we have a lead lined chest? If not we should get one, and store anything magically traceable there.
And actually, the Sisters said consequences. They may simply call the Hellknights to remove some trespassers....yes, I know, they would kill us where we stood, but let's try to talk first. Between Audi and I, we should be able to avoid hostilities if it is possible. If that does not work, then we can go with Miro's plan. Plan B, "Axe to the face".
I agree with Hippa, favors and expanded operating bases would be helpful. I am still interested in establishing a mercantile shop and any such places that we can acquire, or acquire the use of would be of great aide.
I would like to expand our rebuilding of the former temple and will start with the Elven Suite.
So our options moving forward, 1. Potions - Thank you Hippa! 2. Shadowbeast hunting? or Ally gathering? or Delvehaven cache finding? or Waiting on the Sisters?
Future plans, talk with Boneyard. Establish business ownership - when funds available. And we do owe Rance a rematch. Which I would actually suggest we fulfill our agreement sooner rather than later, as we also owe him a portion of any monetary funds earned as a direct result of out performance at the Devildrome.
Thoughts my friends?
Auði Jaw-Jacker |
"I have a suggestion. The sisters are monks who hope to become erinyes, not erinyes yet. Since they are monks, they probably do not have the ability to create food and water and must have to go to the market from time to time or have food delivered to them. Lets go ask around the market and see if we can find out. If they go get it, we see if we can grab one of them. If they have food delivered, we become the new delivery people."
