Regardless of how the above roll turns out, and I have a tendency to roll low.
Discussion:
I believe Hippa meets the criteria to cast said spell without UMD. She has previously ID'd/deciphered scroll with Read Magic, Daylight does appear on her class spell list, she possesses the minimum attribute to cast it. The DC should be scroll caster level +1, DC 5+1 for the 3rd level spell. Unless I interpret RAW incorrectly or you want to disagree over Divine vs Arcane focus of Adepthood, than I politely withdraw the argument.

It was fun reading the UMD vs normal scrollcasting.

Returning the spear to EnGarde position, Hippa quietly processes the moment in the sudden silence that follows life and death combat. Reverently she cleans the spear from the Teifling wizard's clothes,

Brannock is similarly dismissed while Tram, merely earns a "Tch tch", as she critically examines his latest efforts to kill himself. Her hands pulls his away so she can see how much the staunching needs to be done now versus a lengthier convalescence.

"Tch tch" Pulling a scroll from the spooled mass, "This should be pleasant compared to some other gods." She reads the vellum scroll with an elvish whisper, drifting in and out. Some of those things cleaned up might be helpful to the others, I didnt exactly take a good look at their equipment, also, after all the holes put in my I might look into cleaning some of their armor providing it fits my frame.

He added in relations to the teiflings gear.

Does anyone have any rope to detain them with, or should we head back topside with them first then return to finish exploring? where is our little four legged friend?

This looks to be some kind of barracks; several simple bunk beds

Daylight spell casted upon Hippa's boar spear at the crossbar (not spearhead). Her level allows for a 30min duration at time of casting. Effect: causing the object to shed bright light in a 60-foot radius. This illumination increases the light level for an additional 60 feet by one step (darkness becomes dim light, dim light becomes normal light, and normal light becomes bright light).

Hippa thoughts were two fold but not given voice: We are clearly outmatched and why didn't they swarm us/what are they protecting?
Squinting a bit, Not completely dark though, eh Audi.

The noble calls out to them hoping they might see sense or surrender or something. He made sure to keep out of a direct line in case one of them was a good shot with a crossbow or something.
